If only vitual exercise burnt off calories! Right off to get baby ready to go out and collect dd1 from nursery. Talk later and DON'T EAT ANY CHOC! (Oh yeah just remembered I also have those low cal choc drinks as well sometimes - they help)

FineFigureFio · 18/01/2005 11:49

well done puffthemagicdragon and handlemecarefully, and everyone else who has lost or stayed the same !

I have lost 5 1/2 lbs this week I am so chuffed

Evesmama · 18/01/2005 11:51

god, thats wonderful fff!! welldone...what are you following?

FineFigureFio · 18/01/2005 11:53

weightwatchers! i am so happy. The nocount people are losing quicker than us full choice people but I dont trust myself on the new plan

Evesmama · 18/01/2005 11:56

i cant go to 'clubs' anymore, cant handle the pressure, you however are doing great!!!

handlemecarefully · 18/01/2005 12:04

5 1/2 lbs is a brilliant weightloss FFF

PuffTheMagicDragon · 18/01/2005 12:42

fff - that brilliant . Well done!

Flossam · 18/01/2005 17:59

Sorry MG, you posted earlier about doing more activity, not sure what you meant though, do you mean doing more so I could eat more doughnuts?

bunny2 · 18/01/2005 21:08

Fff, I am impressed!

HMC, I was suprised to see you here - I thought you had a good figure - it is compared to mine .

I have had a day without wine and chocolate and I am gagging for both. Determined to last out till Friday though.

Evesmama · 18/01/2005 21:29

my second day with total abstinence from chocolate

Flossam · 18/01/2005 22:40

My sin today, was one sausage roll, baked and greasy. Not my fault though, DP brought it home for me, just before lunch. Did give out one half hearted, why don't you eat it? 'I've had mine' 'Oh, I'm on a diet....shame to waste it though' Only had salad after that and the low fat thing I was going to have for tea was out of date. Had a couple of snacky things instead. Try and weigh myself tomorrow, and if nothing has gone (or indeed, more has gone on) will at least know there is room for improvement!

monkeygirl · 18/01/2005 22:54

Finally managed to wrestle pc off dh (calories used - 5).

Flossam - I guess I meant if you aren't already, then doing some extra walking/exercise/whatever would allow you to eat that extra doughnut! Maybe you should take up kick-boxing bus-drivers! (have very quickly skimmed your other thread - what a w*er - of course he was in the wrong, it is PUBLIC transport ffs)

Well done Evesmama on no choc - still having bad cravings? After all the talk of it I had one of those low-cal choccy drink thingys which saw off my craving today. Good week for me so far - am liking this GI diet more than others I have done.

FFF - that's brilliant - how long have you been doing ww then?

PuffTheMagicDragon · 18/01/2005 23:27

Flossam - didn't see your earlier question - I started mid August I think, so 5 months to lose just over 3 stone.

Flossam · 19/01/2005 09:10

Well, then puff, have you got a holiday booked? Cause you should be realistically expect to be somewhere near you target weight in 5-6months and theres not much like a bikini to give you some impetous (sp)!!

PuffTheMagicDragon · 19/01/2005 09:23

It's the big 40 in May for me Flossam, so I'm aiming to be a size 14 by then. I've just gone into 18's so I'm hoping that's achievable .

I'm not sure the world would cope with me in a bikini, but a nice slinky swimsuit would be good!

handlemecarefully · 19/01/2005 10:47

Bunny2 - am very chuffed that you think I've got a good figure but also completely stunned. I must have been wearing something flattering

Evesmama · 19/01/2005 12:24

feeling rotton today..full of cold, dd's worse than me and also has a cough and dp's coming down with it too(you cant have anything without them can you)
but had clusters for brekkie again and half a banana, but after doctors, saw my mam whilst changing dd and she went and bought me a sausage sarnie in the cafe9no one knows im slimming in rl, so didnt make a big thing of it) and will make sure im careful about what i eat for rest of day. to be honest, cant smell much or taste anything, so ill eat some cardboard and bretend its garlic bread dripping in fatty butter

Evesmama · 19/01/2005 12:25

plus...went to lottery/sweet counter and never even thought about getting some choccy!![ very proud face!]

bunny2 · 19/01/2005 19:13

I had coffe with a friend and refused a huge slice of carrot cake and cream even though it was put in front of me [halo icon]. Then ds made biscuits and I ate 2 of the biggest ones - he had put so much effort in I couldnt refuse!

Oops, I had my weigh-in tonight and I put on 2 lbs . I think perhaps that last weeks weigh-in was lowe than it should have been as I was quite dehydrated and I hadn't had dinner, whereas this week I had lots to drink and a big dinner beforehand. I was also wearing jeans this week. And finally - and this is the clincher I think - I met Graham Norton this morning and the sheer excitement of it obviously piled on the pounds.

Well done Evesmama and Bunny2 on resisting temptation.

bunny2 · 19/01/2005 20:48

hobnobbing with the stars eh bran? What's he like?

Forgot to add - no alcohol today despite lots of stress.

bran · 19/01/2005 20:55

You are a pillar of virtue today aren't you Bunny2?

He was very pleasant, much younger-looking and low-key than you would think. He was in my lift in the Canary Wharf Waitrose car-park, I didn't even notice as I was looking for my car-keys in my handbag. Then when he went to pay he was about to pay with his credit card and I offered him one of my tokens because I always have loads of them and he was very charming and quite chatty.

bunny2 · 19/01/2005 21:01

i just knew he'd be nice

Flossam · 19/01/2005 23:03

Put on 3lbs . But, and I have to tell myself this, it must be muscle, or else my breasts were full of milk, where as they weren't last week! Must try harder.

PuffTheMagicDragon · 19/01/2005 23:08

Don't worry Flossam, tomorrow is a new day . Have you thought about doing a food diary each day - if I have a difficult week, I do this the week after, just to get me back on track.
