Two week kick-start

Hi, I've been messing around lately, and not lost anything, have even put on. I have around 3st to go, already lost 3st.

I have an event in two weeks, and am going to try to get back in the zone and lose some bloat to try to feel good in my outfit. I'll keep it going past the two week mark too.

Anyone want to join me?

Starting weight 182lbs
Goal weight 133lbs

Nope, I did take my bg last week and it was 8.9mmol so not bad at all considering. No exercise this week because the woman is away and I can feel the inflammation in my body, making it hard to do anything.

I know Christmas is coming so I'm going to get back to it properly on Monday.

How are you doing?

I'm going to follow this for bit of inspiration too. I was at my goal weight and delighted but went off the rails over the summer.. now have 12lbs to lose. I'm aiming for 1lb a week which takes me up to Christmas.

Good luck for Monday. I'm plodding along still not really exercising and just about eating enough to scrape a loss most weeks with a bit of fluctuation.

Think I'm around 165lb at the moment.

Keep setting intentions to exercise and the weeks pass me by and it's still not done. Must work harder on that.

Hope you feel ready to get back on the E again on Monday and it's still a decent amount of time to Christmas to see a decent drop in weight.

Welcome to join and 12lb is a great amount to need to lose in the 13 weeks leading to Christmas.

Do you calorie count? What kind of meals do you enjoy?

Hi.. yes, weightlossresources.com is a calorie counting tracking type website. It links to your fitbit too to calculate your calories earned from exercise.. like my fitness pal but much better in my opinion.

I'm annoyed I let 12lb creep back on, when I was below my original target tbh, but this is what happens if you don't work at maintaining I guess.
Meals wise, I like most things, probably what I like most about WLR- you just eat normal food.
Today, I was out for breakfast/brunch with a friend, had an omelette and some toast with butter- quite a high calorie breakfast for me- but that will probably do me until this evening. Tonight I'll have a curry (ready made from tesco). If I'm peckish before then I'll have some fruit or vegetables.
Always round the day off with a glass of wine or some chocolate!
How are you getting on?- do you calorie count too?

Ok I'm back on it til Christmas now, who's with me 💪

189.9lbs/13st 5lbs and 10.2mmol today.

I'm not going to set a mad goal for a set date, I'm going to just stick to my plan and hope that consistency gives results.

Today I'm going to have yoghurt and peanut butter, a ceaser salad for lunch and some delicious butchers lamb balti sausages, veg and maybe some smashed potatoes for dinner. I might give the potatoes a miss though.

I'm aiming for 3-4 litres of water and maybe a couple of teas too.

Bootcamp is back this week but we've been rained off this morning, but I've got boxing at the gym tonight.

I'm thinking of trying to do 10k steps everyday again, last year I was up to about 22k every day. I might aim for 7k every day this week.

For the calorie counters, I know everyone's different, but I'm just curious how many calories you try to stay within? I weigh 10stone 4lb; I try for around 1500-1600, inevitably go over once or twice a week though. I'm trying for 1lb a week off, ideally a little more, 1lb is the minimum I'd like to see coming off most weeks.
Other goals are 2-3 litres of water a day
And go for a walk daily- ideally no less than an hour most days.

My tdee is around 1400 so I need to stick to 1000 to see losses, which is why I prefer to do keto and not calorie count. Although I'm now finding I need to calorie count with that too 🙄

188.3 lbs, 10.5 mmol today.

Yesterday I had

Tea with 2 stevia.
Greek yoghurt, pb, blueberries and I added a squirt of honey at work.
2 cheese and tomato pastries.
A chocolate chip cookie.
Sausages, smashed potatoes, roasted onion, peas.
3.5L water.

No exercise.

So not the best but not as bad as it has been.

Trying for better today.

My menu today,

Breakfast- no, didn't feel like it.
Lunch (bigger after having no brekky)- stuffed pepper/couscous type thing with salad and some seafood sticks.
Tea-probably a chicken/pasta type situation.
Snacks- fruit if peckish.

Aiming 3 litres if water.
Will have 2 coffees and probably a tea.
Trying to keep it an alcohol free day.

The battery has run out in my scales. 9.3 mmol this morning.

Yesterday I had

Tea, Yoghurt, pb, blueberries, honey.
Half a banana, the other bit fell on the floor.
An apple and pb.
A couple of chocolates.
Chicken wrap, ceaser salad, cucumber & cherry tomatoes.

2.5-3L water.

Today I had/did
Bootcamp, on the beach
Tea, a chocolate croissant
Some biscuits
Crisps and cheese dip
Gyozas, mini veg spring rolls, broccoli and mushrooms in soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, sesame seeds, garlic, and ginger. Homemade, not a takeaway.

2L water so far.

So not a good day today.

And I think I've got tennis elbow, in both elbows, I've got a Dr's appointment tomorrow. So I might have to stop the boxing.

I have to changed the batteries in my scales and I didn't test this morning.

I've just seen thr Dr and definitely have tennis elbow so have to completely rest them for 2 weeks, so no boxing, no weights, not even swimming. I'll have to up the cardio.

I can't believe throughout this thread I've been saying that I'm going to start some sort of fitness regime and I'm still not started with anything consistent.

Any tips to get started and keep going with a little bit of exercise???

Hi everyone.. just checking in... my scales were static for about 9 days.. but weighed yesterday and finally some movement! (Actually realised the reason it's been a bit slower this time is because last time I was eating 200-300 calories less a day!!)
Anyway,

Current weight 10st 0.6lbs
Goal weight 9st 7lbs

My menu today:

Breakfast; weetabix with milk and banana (was working)
Lunch: no because I had a late breakfast and I'm having an earlier tea, may have some fruit if I'm peckish.
Tea: roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings and loads of calories! I can't wait!!

Drinks; couple of coffees, 2litres water. Realistically will probably have a few beers or glass of wine over dinner.

I've got tennis elbow, in both of them, so been told not to do any exercise involving my arms for 2 weeks. That's up on Thursday but it's not healed, and despite there being nothing wrong with my legs I havent done any cardio/treadmill.

From tomorrow I'm getting my arse in gear though.

Tea and low sugar/carb biscuits
Sausages, a small jacket potato and salad.

Haven't done well with the water today, less than a litre so far.

2 teas and a couple of sugar free biscuits.

Half a ham, cheese, onion, cherry tomato omelette, I gave half to dh.
A tin of heinz tomato soup and a toasted sandwich thin.
A handful of crisps.
Still got sausages left, so sausages, mini potatoes, roast onion/broccoli/cauliflower and maybe a bit of side salad for dinner tonight.

Very little water.

B: fruit and a boiled egg
L: soup and some crackers
D: banana on toast

Snacks; bag of crisps, turkish delight.
Went out for coffee earlier
2litres water
No alcohol
No real exercise

Not a great day but within my calorie allowance.

CW; 9st 13.6lbs (just into the 9's so I'm taking that!
GW; 9st 7lbs then maybe a bit lower.

I'm still here and also been up and down like a yo yo on the scales.

Currently 162.2lb

Need to stick to a more rigid plan and not go too far off track during weekends.

Still not exercise!!
