Ah.. I was thinking the amazon one made a litre and that would do four servings. Enough for me!
But do like keep warm idea.
I've Weighed in today at 71.5
Pleased as I've drunk every day for the last week.
Must stop that before becomes habit again.
I'm still happy as this is lowest for ages.. And at one point in the week I was 70.9..
So this week goal is very little alcohol. Portion control and to get to 71...
Do not despair @poorpaws ..keep plodding on downwards...

BeyondMyWits · 19/09/2022 13:40

Lots of soup talk! I probably need to try... too much pizza being eaten here.

stayed the same 15st 7.5lb.... the illusive half stone marker still not met!

Zebracat · 19/09/2022 15:24

Here’s a first for me, stayed in a hotel and had poached eggs on toast rathe4 than full English breakfast. Then later, had a sliver of cake so thin it was see through. Could have done better but could have been much worse.

triplecheeese · 20/09/2022 10:25

Well done @Zebracat, hotel breakfasts are my absolute favourite meals, I would not have shown such restraint!

Too busy to weigh yesterday, 65.4kg this morning. Tbh had a sickness bug last week (thanks, DC nursery) so could have seen more but it wasn't a pleasant way to lose! 10st 4lbs with 10 days to go BUT I have DH's birthday to navigate in the meantime.

I did a lovely trail 10K at the weekend, quiet and remote in the woods. It's the sort of place I would never run alone due to safety so to have an organised run that was still peaceful was just fantastic.

Keep on keeping on with Will Power xx

TalkToTheHand123 · 20/09/2022 20:18

Quick session at the gym today as I arrived late, but better than nothing, to help tackle the few lbs gained in the last few days.

In bed now having a quick surf, so a good sleep should help too.

Theredjellybean · 21/09/2022 11:57

Disaster... I ate 4/5 of a packet of party rings last night... WHYYYYYYYY..... 🤣

Theredjellybean · 21/09/2022 11:59

OK so.. There are 25 cals in a party ring... I ate 4x4...

TalkToTheHand123 · 21/09/2022 17:03

I'm sure it will be off before you know it @Theredjellybean 😊

poorpaws · 21/09/2022 17:15

Disaster here too. DPs birthday plus family over for five days and I'm drowning in sweets, chocolate, crisps, everything! self sabotage is rife.

OP posts:
TalkToTheHand123 · 21/09/2022 19:05

Aww. I'm exhausted. Spent most of the day declining chocolate biscuits, crisps and resisting ordering a takeaway.

Going to treat myself with a big bowl of rice tonight 😂.

TalkToTheHand123 · 22/09/2022 15:48

Another day of torture, but powered through!

Found doing simulated running in front of the mirror has put me back on track (losing the couple of lbs recently gained).
Hopefully I can stick to it!🤔☺️

Zebracat · 22/09/2022 16:06

I’m not doing so well either. Got demoralised when declining a (2nd)pastel de nata didn’t immediately translate to a kilo lost, so having had my carefully calibrated veggie curry, I went and scooped all the leftovers straight out of the pan. Guess what? Gained half a kilo. Who knew!

BeyondMyWits · 22/09/2022 18:22

Hiya all, been busy again this week... "kids" both home from uni, one heading back on Saturday, the other off to Germany for a study year next Saturday. Feeling stressed and worried and anxious. I know we have to let them go and follow their dreams, but why does it have to be so scary for us parents.

Eating more than usual to stop me interfering... of course...

BeyondMyWits · 22/09/2022 18:23

How is everyone doing with the temperatures going lower! Just makes me want to eat pie, or dumplings!

TalkToTheHand123 · 22/09/2022 18:25

I'm glad I wasn't offered a pastel de nata. I don't think I would be able to say no @Zebracat . Veg curry sounds good too 😋

poorpaws · 22/09/2022 18:45

OMG I've had a disastrous week. Close family over for a holiday (not seen them for six years). I've just not stopped eating. Im not weighing for a while so I can get a few pounds off. I just hope I can get my head in the right place to re-start the diet but I'm really not feeling it atm ☹️🙈

@poorpaws oh dear, sounds like Autumn has been tough for lots of us. Except @TalkToTheHand123 .The good news is it’s your thread, we need you so giving up is not really an option. I am absolutely sure that you will be fine. Why not suck it up and weigh yourself? I’m asking because when I stop weighing I usually derail completely. But ,of course, maybe different for you.

TalkToTheHand123 · 23/09/2022 00:34

Aww @Zebracat , thanks for the support.

I'm quite confident now (whether it is justified or not is a different story) that with the simulated running recently, I will keep losing lbs and I like the idea of a big loss if I wait long enough, so going to try hold out a few days before next weigh in.

Body feels slimmer so fingers crossed for a decent loss when I do. (It wants to be as I've been really good declining the offers of buscuits, crisps and everything else!)

TalkToTheHand123 · 23/09/2022 00:36

@BeyondMyWits . I'd like to say it's making my have more soup, but I don't think it is possible to have any more! 😳😂

poorpaws · 23/09/2022 08:11

Just a reminder for everyone that our 12 week Christmas target starts this Monday (26.09) so anyone who wants to join could they set their goals by Monday. The 12 week challenge ends on Monday 19.12.22 (just in time for Christmas).

I think I have to adjust my goal from what I originally thought because I must've put on a lot of weight this week. I'll weigh on Monday morning, assess the damage and then set a goal.

I'm looking forward to hearing your targets but don't be too strict, 12 weeks is a long time, there will be a lot of challenges in those weeks and we don't want to be thoroughly miserable.

BeyondMyWits · 23/09/2022 08:30

@poorpaws mine is 8lb... so I want to be able to say I am 14stone something before Christmas.

Sounds simple and achievable... we will see.

Zebracat · 23/09/2022 09:27

Christmas target is 11/2 stones, or 9 kilos. I know that is big , but I am really fat, and I have this operation to prepare for . It would take me to 15 stone.

TalkToTheHand123 · 23/09/2022 10:37

My targets are usually 1/2 stones so mine will be to get to 14 stone from current 14 and a half stone (7lbs to lose) 😊.

brianixon · 23/09/2022 11:18

I need to lose 30 lb. I have lost a little, very slowly. I am eating health foods I do not snack. Weight loss has stalled.
Previously I had a course of Herbalife which worked. Please do not comment on MLM. I know. But I did lose weight, that is what counted for me.
Any suggestions for Supplements or Meal Replacements to jump-start my digestive system which seems to be coping with the reduction in ordinary food.
I have another problem; I cannot exercise much for medical reasons.

poorpaws · 23/09/2022 11:46

Thank you for your target weights. I'm writing them all down so we will remember what everyone said. I'll let you know mine on Monday morning. It all seems soooo doable atm, until we get nearer ...
