1 hour walk done before work, so starting the working day with 8,000 steps.

Got another walk in after work, 13,000 steps for the day and around 1600 calories. Teeth flossed & brushed. That's was a grind of a day, not mad busy but kept going, no real stress but no real fun either. I could have ate & ate if I'd been let!

10482 steps so far. Have a few more bits to do before bed. Am having a wardrobe rummage and doing a charity shop run

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 03/05/2022 21:30

Been ok today but that's because busy prepping for Mum's 90th birthday party so fingers crossed it goes well tomorrow Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/05/2022 06:52

The rest of yesterday was shite. Out walking doggo atm

Not2bObvious · 04/05/2022 07:13

Did a walk listening to Baking El, so I've around 7,600 to start the day with. I'm trying to get a load of steps early so if I flag later, I've some activity in the bank.
Haven't weighed this week yet, I doubt I've undone the weekend & I don't want to feel bad

Did a grit workout, or should probably add a disclaimer - did to the best of my abilities. It was tough and I'm so slow but better slow than slaughtered! If sweat was fat leaving the body, I'd be ecstatic

Aww what a fab cake! Why did I think she'd had her party or was that her partner had turned 90 a while ago? Happy Birthday to her, it's a great age.
You must have been run off your feet, lucky it wasn't me, I'd be found behind the door inhaling a lump of that sugary goodness😂

AHH thank you Not ☺️ They all had a whale of a time 😊
Cake was 14.99 from Costco, it was huge! Tastes lovely too despite all the artificial sweetness and crammed with synthetic cream 🤣🤣🤣
Sometimes you just can't beat sugar 😂
It was Bobbos 90th before that you remembered 😊👏

Gensola · 04/05/2022 17:37

What a gorgeous cake! She must have been thrilled! Work trip done - on train back now. Should do some work but feel a bit drained. Have three lessons tomorrow so could get up early to prep…
lots of good steps but obvs no workouts. Hoping to get in a body pump tomorrow.

well done on the workouts not and life

very very cute baby on train - tempted to kidnap it 😬 only kidding 😅 but it would be much easier than IVF hahaha

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 04/05/2022 17:56

Aw thank you Gen l think it's a little bit gaudy tbh but l have noticed Mum's colour perception isn't what it was and she thought it was amazing .
Have a chill tonight and pick back up again in the morning Flowers

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/05/2022 18:07

Ooo Costco cakes are super sweet. If you can’t have gaudy at 90 then there is something wrong.

I’ve eaten sooo much today it’s beyond a joke

They are super sweet Life . Mum just rung now and told me the cake was demolished by all the fogies there Grin I can imagine them all having a sugar rush followed by a massive sleep after Grin the cake is supposed to be enough for 48 but it went between 30 of them Grin
You will be back on it very soon , just a blip Flowers

Not2bObvious · 04/05/2022 21:05

I can't believe that was only £14.99! That scares me slightly, how do they make it and make a profit!!! Oh well, the fogies these days are hardy, my EP despite all the aches & pains is indestructible as far as I can see. Take more than a few E numbers to fell any of them (only joking obvs)

Gensola · 05/05/2022 07:26

Back from work trip, food yesterday was less than ideal (giant cookie and coffee, 1/2 left over pizza, a scoop of lentil and spinach dal curry with a weird sourdough pancake thing and a chicken and pesto wrap, fruit salad and a crumpet 😅) my tummy is defo complaining today after that mixture. No booze tho! It’s the classic buffet work do eat everything in sight problem isn’t it 🤦‍♀️
breakfast today two boiled eggs and 50g smoked salmon, 2 x kiwis for fibre.
lunch will be canteen but dinner is Greek lamb stew with orzo through it and cauliflower and broad beans on the side.

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/05/2022 08:21

My word freezer diving plays havoc with the tummy. Windy sheesh

Not2bObvious · 05/05/2022 08:40

Decided to try a quick weigh to see the lay of the land. The land isn't laying as one would like. One is raging and trying not to lose ones mind over bast*rd SOD.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 05/05/2022 10:46

Leave the sod be today then

ememem84 · 05/05/2022 12:57

Not2bObvious · 05/05/2022 13:33

Think you might be on the wrong thread em but if not I've spent nothing today - I'd actually quite like to spend some money but stuck working and online isn't speaking.
No fear of me returning to the scales today life, stupid swine is banished until it can give me some good news!

They do! l thinkit's their taste buds not being as receptive as they age and sugar is one taste they can still enjoy bless em !
Well done on all those steps !
