Not tracking todays calorie spike

Not2bObvious · 01/05/2022 09:27

I grazed like a cow last night, ate a reasonable amount of takeaway but hard to gauge how much. Got through wine as well before guzzling a load of chocolate. It's going to take a bit of mental gymnastics to remember it all. Old behaviours were very high to the surface, trying hard not to make a catastrophe of it in my head.

My food was good until I had a glass of wine. Followed by another glass and then an espresso martini made by DH 🫣 then he decided to make baked banana with dark chocolate and peanut butter and cream off Instagram. Ah well 😂

Happierwithouthim · 01/05/2022 11:14

My day was spot on yesterday exactly as I'd planned out with my coach but then I'd a Canadian whiskey with Diet Coke, followed by a treat size crunchie left from Christmas selection boxes, a bliss bar & quarter of someone's small buttons Easter egg that was left.

Oh well last bank holiday weekend I drank about 15 drinks at wedding so last night was mild 😂

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/05/2022 11:19

I did weigh my takeaway
walk with a pal this morning for breakfast stop

Not2bObvious · 01/05/2022 11:33

Sounds like we all had a bit of a splurge last night, out of our systems for a bit maybe? If I go on my budget idea Friday to Thursday, 1700'ish, I have around 1350 a day left. And two days of weekend left. Why is it so easy to sack it all off in the moment!!!!

I'm cycling dds bike to shop for Nutella for ds, I hate cycling it's only 3km round trip but it'll be good for me. Ds won't walk and I refuse to take car. I need to stay home and relax today & tomorrow

Not2bObvious · 01/05/2022 11:46

It's lashing rain here and I don't think I'll be braving it like yesterday. Will do a weights session shortly & then treadmill. Now I've typed it, I might even do it.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 01/05/2022 16:28

Took me close to 2 hours to get moving but 35 min strength workout which was a fair bit of hit & then walk/jog on the treadmill for 65 mins. 10,000'ish steps in the bag. Showered & on the Netflix, pizza for dinner probably 😋

My walk was 13k steps and I’ve been weeding the block paving today. Currently on 18500. Wills track food now and report back

ememem84 · 01/05/2022 17:43

4453 steps. Took the kids swimming. Not really exercise for me as most of it was me bobbing about in the pool catching them as they launched themselves into it.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/05/2022 20:57

Massively over calories today but probably a break even on the week, 19700 steps

Not2bObvious · 02/05/2022 07:20

I was over a bit last night so my weekly average cals were around the 2100 mark. Maintenance numbers, no doubt that means bloat numbers too. I've 4 days go under the last 3 and hoping to see a drop from the 164-165 numbers. Not raining yet here but dull/foggy.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 02/05/2022 07:58

Bloat numbers here. Food festival today which I’m having a break day for I frankly I love food but don’t intend to go daft

resting from fitness too

Happierwithouthim · 02/05/2022 08:35

I was bang on with meal plan & therefore cals yesterday 1800

Cycle to shop nearly killed me because some is uphill & my quads were sore from previous today so there was serious burn on the uphill. Walked it then in the evening so hit my steps target 🎯 8426

Happierwithouthim · 02/05/2022 08:38

There's a food festival here too life I'm avoiding it Wink

Some of dds cake left & we're delivering it to a couple we're friends with!

Scales hasn't gone back to last weeks weight yet presumably the one drink I had on Sat night, going to drink pints of water today Smile

Not2bObvious · 02/05/2022 08:46

I'm achy after the different workout, good in a way, at least I can tell I pushed myself. Now to stick to 3 meals and a reasonable snack this evening. I want to push the steps a bit this week too, 11,000 daily would be perfect

That's beautiful mrs, lovely displays. Just home from a long potter around my village, out nearly 2 hours and nearly 13,000 steps. So that's a good start for the week. Will watch a movie later, have my treat chosen and should be able to stick to cals

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 02/05/2022 17:13

Gensola · 02/05/2022 20:36

mrs lovely flowers - I like the last one especially!
I cracked at lunch and had the ginger pudding, otherwise food hasn’t been too bad today - steps 16000 as did a walk at lunch to try and offset the cake 😂
not drinking for a few days as I have bad acid reflux and booze really affects it. I’m not even tempted tbh as the reflux is so bad. Also on tea in the morning instead of coffee.

Not2bObvious · 02/05/2022 21:18

I can see why reflux would turn you off the booze gen, no loss when you're trying to get the last few pounds off. In the movie I watched everyone was non stop drinking & it was torture😂 It's hard to believe how easy I found it before the holidays not to drink. I didn't go mad over the weekend, but still too many cals wasted. Next weekend I'm going to limit it a lot more, these long weekends are disastrous!
