Post takeaway bloat of 1.8 - not too bad considering previous takeaway bloats. My salt & chilli affliction used to result in 3-4 bloats so I'll take it. Going on a drive with the whole gang in a while, some shopping/possible food out. Looking forward to starting next week on this high protein kick, typical of course that I have 3 outings that'll not be conducive to dieting...ugh I need to hermit to get this bloody chunk off!

I haven’t weighed as both lunch and dinner yesterday were buffet (one at work and one at a 50th birthday) so loads of carbs! We have cream tea this afternoon and cinema later, so may not weigh tomorrow either. 😂
need to have a good stretch off the booze which may now be achievable as not too much in calendar between now and going on honeymoon. If we actually get there - flights seem to be cancelled left right and centre from Gatwick. One week til we are due to fly!

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/06/2022 10:51

It didn’t rain until after we got back. All good but hot
pastry dinner tonight as feeding epil

Not2bObvious · 25/06/2022 19:33

You deserve all the outings regardless. I hope it never gets to that stage with my EP, I don't think I could do it to be honest. You're a walking angel ❤️

Thank you so much Not that is so kind of you ❤️

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 26/06/2022 15:06

Gen am keeping everything crossed for you sweetheart ❤️
Life have a lovely time with your pil l am sure they are really lovely ppl who appreciate you l hope so anyway 💐
Not that sounds great going you are in the zone l can see well done lovely am so pleased for you 🤗
Been ok just had some cherries and nectarines for now, chicken salad for later 😄😋

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/06/2022 15:59

They do appreciate me but they are hard work

Not2bObvious · 26/06/2022 20:21

Appreciation is something at least. Mine does appreciate but doesn't really get what goes into what it takes to keep them independent. I'm quite honestly scared more and more every year that passes, it isn't going to improve. Anyway, such is life in the sandwich gen.
Lovely day spending, I know y'all frugal, I'm a spendy mess😂

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/06/2022 06:22

Oh they have no clue outside their bubble. All of the logistics that comes with them

what are you spending on

I’m feeling tired and meh today, cba with anything

Not2bObvious · 27/06/2022 07:26

New runners, since I'm back trying to injure myself, may as well do it in new runners, bits of clothes as part of himselfs b'day present, spensy haircare for brand conscious teen, takeaway lunch. Just making sure the money isn't burning a hold in my pocket.
You're at this long enough to manage a cba day, hydrate & eat ok, stay away from the choceur'crack. I'm trying for under cals days Monday/Tuesday/Thursday & Saturday. I'm out Wednesday/Friday/Sunday. I've been averaging 2,200 a day last week, that's not quite the idea!

Gensola · 27/06/2022 08:26

not ooh I love getting new gym gear. It’s on my list for when wedding is over and paid for 😁
life sounds stressful.
cold and rainy here today. My term is over so I can WFH prep/planning and admin. Planning a workout once I’ve fully woken up and will force myself out for steps later. New PT has cut my cals to 1400 😱 it’s only for a few weeks til wedding (not sure what to do about the two weeks in Greece coming up!)

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/06/2022 09:29

I’ve forced aerobics soo that will do. Pump isn’t gonna happen
I will eat well today and might do a slim fast blast for a week

oo new runners are a necessity imo
i got new shorts yesterday and today it rains

Not2bObvious · 27/06/2022 14:30

Tried out the new runners, pretty decent, the week 3 so a bit more running. Got a basic 30 min bodypump done so on track. Need to get a walk in too.

Gensola · 27/06/2022 15:21

life I rashly hung out two massive loads of laundry and it’s just rained 😱

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/06/2022 17:21

oh That’sannoying gen

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 27/06/2022 17:31

I hear you both re the EP . Mine have been impossible today 🙄
Thank God there was a man putting the fence up who l could ask to give them some pain relief otherwise l would have to have gone up again today 🙄
Is it any wonder l effin eat 🙄
Mum had taken her hearing aids out and it's impossible to get her to hear me in the phone. The telly is turned up so loud it's defending , how the hell they think they can hear the phone with that going so loud l don't know 🙄

Gen that seems a bit savage 1400 Cals 🤔
I suppose it's only for 2 weeks though so grit teeth and go for it 👍 🤞fingers crossed ☺️
Bloody weather, l chased a lineup around all weekend due to the showers 🙄 it's one of those bloody days 🙄

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 27/06/2022 17:33

Well done Not re the runners 👏
Life hope you get your mojo back lovely 💐

Not2bObvious · 27/06/2022 18:15

I reckon you can do 1400 but you'll have to go hardcore protein & no booze. Doable for a short spurt? I've had 1260 cals with 100grams protein and I'm not feeling too bad. They would be room for a small bar or small bag of crisps if 1400 was my limit. But it's not, so I'm have an icecream & something else in a bit😊

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 27/06/2022 20:15

Day done at 1650 cals and just a bit under 14,000 steps. Ok, now to do that again tomorrow/Thursday/Saturday and I may be able to "afford" my three night/days out

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 28/06/2022 07:04

short term 1400 is doable but not on holiday
I ate 3 slices of chock tratbake yesterday and was quite tearful. Had an extra hour in bed and doing to rest today

Not2bObvious · 28/06/2022 07:58

Are you feeling any brighter today life? It's very tough when your struck low, if you can manage a walk for a bit of air it might help but do take it very easyFlowers
Scrapping back under the 170's this morning, so not too much weekend bloat left. Maybe next week I can start in the 169's, that would be a positive step. Constant rain forecast here today, will have to do dreadmill

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 28/06/2022 08:10

Morning everyone 😀
Not that would be brilliant if you could get to that number such a boost for you 😊🤞
Life hoping you feel much happier today love 💐
Gen am sure you can do it for 2 weeks, it's difficult for you because you have to attend things for your job l know , it's very tempting with all the lovely food about that you don't have to cook or clear away 😊
Am going to MumBobs in a bit l am just here early because l will probably be glued to the telly watching the tennis all day when l get back 😀 have a lovely day everyone 😊

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/06/2022 09:04

Marginally better, I will be ok

Gensola · 28/06/2022 09:35

Glad you’re feeling a bit better life 💜

Not2bObvious · 28/06/2022 09:42

Good to hear that life, marginal is a step in the right direction.
Tried high protein granola with 0% Greek yog & a small banana. 28gr of protein but not filling me as much as yesterday's egg/ham/cheese scramble with toast & cheese spread for same cals/same protein. I did have it an hour earlier so must take that into account. Trialling food options so I can build a menu I can use for the next few weeks, I'm bloody DETERMINED to get to goal by Christmas. Enough arsing about

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 28/06/2022 22:30

Managed 120gr protein and a shade under 1700 cals and a little under 14,000 steps. I was meant to be out for dinner & drinks/gig tomorrow evening - but going to try v hard to just do the gig part of it, I can eat at home & drive. That'll save cals & money. I honestly don't know if I'll succeed but I'm going to try. I've two other things on this week that can't be avoided so I should ("should") be able to make this compromise.
