It can all go to hell in a hand basket as we all know so holding on to the good days with both hands! Woke feeling still determined to stay dry, so now need to avoid talking myself out of it. Will weigh shortly - see what number I'm protecting

Struggling with tonsillitis again - had it badly in December so only about 6 month ago. Have a call back with GP to beg for meds, had to go on bended Knee last time

It is the reluctant prescribing of Anti-b's gen? I know they were feckers for slinging them at every illness 3 years ago but now it's the other extreme. I hope you're ok, it's a horrible sicknessFlowers
168 on the nose this morning, so 7 pound down from the 12th June, 5-6 of that was bloat. Finally getting into the holiday gain proper. I have a solid belly, pure solid blubber. Meeting friends I haven't seen in 3 years & v conscious of my size. Was probably no more than 10lb lighter the last time I saw them but that's enough to show. Ugh, never ends

I have antibiotics! They’re like horse pills too. Feeling a bit weird, think it’s having a low grade fever for several days running, it’s making me a bit out of it.

My Dd2 has just gotten over a bout of tonsillitis she had AB's no problem though but she had a telephone appt and the Dr could hear how bad her throat was . She suffers from it about 4 X a year 🙄

I have been to a funeral for my Mum's friend , representing my Mum l did not know her very well. I didn't go to the funeral tea though because l knew l would scoff so that was a win for me today 🤗

Thanks very much mrs, if were only this easy all the time! Had a brilliant evening with friends, didn't drink and didn't go over cals. Got over 17500 steps too! The scales will probably perversely jump up tomorrow to knock me off my perch.
I bloody love birthday cake and I've 2-3 days of it next week, send help!

Kept to it last night despite a row with my Mother on the phone 🙄
I normally eat after but l didn't so that is a huge win !
Life birthday cake is just impossible to leave for many reasons to me . The main one is possibly offending the person whose birthday it is by refusing a piece . It's best to just eat it and sign it off IME if l ever refuse l got the whole gamut of " just a little piece " etc etc 😅
Am planning on a good day today so we shall see, have a great day everyone 😊

I'm really proud of you mrs, that's proper progress, you likely saved yourself 100's of cals & a load of food guilt. You've done it once, you can do it (or not do it if you get me) again.
I just remembered an icecream so I actually hit my cals yesterday. No biggie but shines a light on how selective memory can be. Scales up a smidge, definitely expected it

Not a bad day all in all , watching the Tennis is addictive! Not done much else but food is good so that is something 👏
Not it's so easy to forget what we have eaten , especially at my age l am forgetting everything!!
You are doing so well look at how much holiday weight you have off already 💐

Scales crept up a bit, still down .8 on last Friday and average dropping so all on track. Got my 3rd c25k of the week done early & a short body pump but oh my I am proper knackered now. Got to do shopping & EP visit, then off to besties for night.

im off to London today to see my bestie - gallery to see some art then lunch which he is paying for as my birthday treat ❤️ Tomorrow we are driving to Port Talbot in Wales - a lady there is taking my old wedding and engagement, eternity rings and making a new ring out of them.

Morning all. Up early to make cake stuff for a family party, had an early night so it wasn't too much of a hardship. It's been a fairly decadent weekend so tight belts will need to be tightened even more next week & of course it's another week of stuff. More birthday cakes and 2 x meals out. Again I'll have to make the most of my in days, which might have saved me from total disaster this week - although yesterday could have been better!
How's everyone else getting on?

Am ok ATM Thank you Not trying not to obsess over calories in food and thinking more about the longevity of managing my daily food intake . I think it's a step in the right direction 🤔 it seems like a game changer to me at least .

Gen l have never been to Port Talbot what is it like there lovely? I am a bit prejudiced because of the Oil refinery there tbh and l know l shouldn't be it's bad of me 🙄 have a lovely day 🤗

Balance is the key next week not. Enjoy the cake days and do the control days. It will be fine
lu ch was lots meat and salad so decent macro wise but huge portions wise.

Yeah balance for sure. Had another memory of stuff I'd forgotten to track, I reckon my memory is my worst enemy!
Well done mrs on the self reflection, I have to say focussing on prioritising protein more than calories has helped me greatly this last 10 days or so (not that you'd think that looking at mfp for the last 2 days!) I've gotten in around 100grams protein most days & it's really helped me with hunger. Hence my calories end up naturally lower. You've got this😉

Upping your Protein is excellent to keep you feel less hungry . I used to eat ScanBran crispbreads as well they used to fill me up and take ages to eat . I must see if l can find them again ☺️
Take no notice of the damn scales there is no way you have eaten 4.4 X 3600 calories
Like you say it's water retention ☺️👏
Life you got it right there it's balancing everything and getting the right level ☺️
