Gen well done you on having salad prepped to avoid pub grub

I'm currently in McDonald's with dc I got a mini McFlurry, I'm not a McDonald's fan

Mrs you don't deserve that at all, hopefully this phase passes.

Dc were at childminder this eve so it has Friday vibes but it's not Friday Sad

Not2bObvious · 16/06/2022 20:05

Good for you on the mini mcflurry happier, I always feel McDonald's is a dreadful waste of cals (apart from the odd McFlurry😉) Saying that, had one while away, a chicken burger not available here, wasn't bad!
Managed to stick to just under 1600 cals, 13,500 steps & a 25 min bodypump. Am I skinny yet 😂

Oh EPs are so exhausting and stressful

Not2bObvious · 17/06/2022 07:19

Happy Friday y'all. 5 days off holiday & 4.8 of bloat gone. Fairly confident the 5'ish left are firmly distributed across my gut & legs, I'm rocking some fine strong thighs right now. Small bit of ache after body pump, which I found pretty rough, 3 weeks off showed. Out for dinner tomorrow night, cause balance y'know and we haven't been out alone since before Christmas. So funny, now they're old enough to be left, we bring them everywhere! I used to yearn for this time

Waves to everyone ☺️👏

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/06/2022 19:37

I’ve had a hunger day today so not been great

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/06/2022 19:39

Actually I’ve just guessed tracked and still have 184 left + 54 from yesterday, whop

Not2bObvious · 17/06/2022 19:59

Have a ball mrs, I bet it'll be amazing! Poor Bob, it's terrifying when you choke like that, lucky he wasn't on his own.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 17/06/2022 23:31

Let's just say it wasn't the worst Friday. That'll do

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 18/06/2022 07:14

Couldn’t sleep so had late slice of toast and jam. Bloody work stress

hope the gig was good.

not the worst Friday sounds like a good day

Gensola · 18/06/2022 09:13

not that sounds like a win to me!
mrs I hope you have a great time, you so deserve it.
had a really piggy dinner at work, it was a retirement do for someone who has served 30 years so they really rolled out the carpet!
starter was chicken skewers with satay sauce, I had the rest of the sauce on a bread roll 😂 then steak with triple cooked chips, bernaise sauce and mushroom, green beans. I only ate 1/2 the steak but I hammered all the chips. Then baked Alaska but I only had a couple of bites. Then cheese. So much wine. I’m 1kg up on SOD.

Not2bObvious · 18/06/2022 10:49

Up and doing bodypump by 8am, out doing my third C25K by 8.45am, on the taxi duties now til 11.45 - then brunch and I cannot wait, I'm starving!!! Slept pretty ok but I'm knackered now, I think I'll have brunch & a sleep before we go out for dinner. Might head into town for a potter around the fancy shops beforehand.

Tom Jones was brilliant, how the hell he can sing like he does at 82 l really do not know ! Stereophonics did all their hits & we had a fab time 🤗
If anyone wants to see the gig it is on tonight BBC1 Wales l had a whale of a time Smile
DD2 did MumBob today and they were like angels for her ! l am glad they behave for her though because l don't know what l would do if she couldn't help us out at all Smile
Have been ok here today been shopping so that helps to keep me occupied lol
Have a lovely day everyone Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/06/2022 21:48

Not too bad a day food wise, didn’t track but won’t be far off
20800 steps running round the scout event

Not2bObvious · 18/06/2022 22:39

I'm delighted you had a great night out and bless dd for helping with the EPs. My pair pop into my EP every couple of weeks to do a job and it really helps me, so I get how much it helps. Especially since you're a proper main carer, I'm still v lucky that my EP is extremely independent.
Fabulous meal out and few drinks but not danger territory & eating has been perfectly acceptable for a treat night, not diet material but so so much better than other nights. Nigh on 16,000 steps too! Getting the water in with my last glass of wine

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 19/06/2022 08:09

Scales up a couple, expected & not at all bothered. Was extremely pleased at how I was able to approach the night out, yes I went over calories but I can probably keep to my average over the week. The Eat It! book suggests multiplying your goal weight in pounds by 12 as a calorie target. So to ease myself back in, I set 165 so I'm on 1980 hence me being able to fit the couple of high cal days in. I think I've still around 1700 for today so I can work with that. No hangover either so win win. I'll get a walk in later and healthier Asian takeaway planned as Fathers Day treat. I get to pay for it, lucky me😂

Gensola · 19/06/2022 08:25

Ooh not that’s interesting, so you create a deficit that way? Mine would be 1464 which is lower than I’m on rn… maybe I should do that, my PT gave me 1510 and I was losing ok but not so much now. That is partly at least due to too many nights out of course.
DH adult kids haven’t bothered with Father’s Day again - I got him a card and chocs from the cat 😅 and will bring him bacon and eggs in bed.

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/06/2022 08:44

you sound super positive there not, the night out has done you good imo
night outs do impact but 1510 is still low

shit nights sleep so need to be aware of tired danger today

Not2bObvious · 19/06/2022 08:49

As long as I do my steps (c.10-12,000 daily, 70,000-80,000 over the week) and actually stick to the cals then yes. But obviously I'm lugging 30'ish pounds more around with me. In your case at such a low number I wouldn't consider cutting anymore. You've said yourself there's been some outings, the fact you're still losing despite that is testament to the fact 1510 is pretty low. I think you're doing fantastic!

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 19/06/2022 08:51

Shit sleep is another one of them dieters enemies life, high protein breakfast with some fat, a bacon butty would be the way to go. Yep, night out was really lovely, just fun with the two of us

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 19/06/2022 10:13

I went for my usual breakfast of granola, yogurt and raspberry as I love it
lasagne for tea soo will be ok
gardening rather than stepping today

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/06/2022 07:15

Not a bad day not a brilliant day. This is fine

Not2bObvious · 20/06/2022 09:54

Up 1.6 on Friday, down 2 on last Monday, not shocking considering dinner out & takeaway yesterday. No plans for next weekend so should be better with cals

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 20/06/2022 10:05

Gen That was the best thing to do, make a fuss of your Dh yourself Smile I had to buy Bobbo presents and cards off us because his children didn't bother again. Don't get me wrong l would buy him stuff anyway because we love him to bits but it is so sad the way they treat him and l can honestly say he has been a wonderful Dad to them all , when they were speaking to him 2 years ago they told us that to our face and knowing how lovely he is l believe them Sad

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 20/06/2022 10:25

Not you really seem to have a great handle on this atm , l am looking at Jordan Syatt on you tube and he is great l love him , he's so honest ! That book looks good too , l don't think l am up to this level though Grin but he does seem rellly good Smile
Life sounds good to me lovely keep it going the steps you are doing are just Amazing ! Smile
Gen the amount of cals sounds good to me you are doing really well , it's so hard for you when you are so busy but l know you want to fit into that beautiful wedding dress of yours such a inspiration goal for you Smile
I am going to prep my food this minute!
