would anyone like to join me. I am going to start on Monday.

I am not joining any clubs but will be loosely following WW.

Need to cut out the alcohol, crisps, cheese and chocolate (not totally) .

I would love some company. Will try to log on everyday to keep up with anyone who joins me but I do work full time so please dont be cross if I dont reply quickly!!!

I am really down right now about the way I look and would love to share my joys/lows with others - speak soon x

Well, bought some scales, tried them and thought they were faulty as they said I was 1/2 stone more than I 'knew' I was. Tried another set of scales and they too were faulty . So guess I've got more to lose than I thought. DH joining me and the scales were 1 stone out of him!

I'm so hungry and keep pinching bits of dc food without thinking (just finished ds box of raisons) - thought if I just added a few points on to total it might cover it (resisted dd's haribo!).

Have been very good this morning and made winter veg broth and watercress soup - both minimal points but doesn't feel like it.

Am I cruel to put off weaning for another month so I get an extra 5 points?

Had a mixed day yesterday. Think I might make Thursday my weigh in day.

I too would be pleased with 11 and a half stone and a size 14. But if you look up 5'5" and 11.5 stone they are practically advising you to call the fire brigade to winch you out for a stomach stapling operation. (Did anyone else see Half Ton Mom?)

Just had a little tiny pot of Gu chocolate mousse, which was 216 cal (11.3g sat fat and 10.5g sugar (sorry that's so when I find my ww wheel of misfortune I can calculate it). Which when I write it down sounds REALLY BAD.

Off to drink more arsing water.

It's never too late

I've had a banana and slice of wholemeal toast for breakfast.

I am having lunch now - a yukka soup with some wholemeal bread. Had an apple earlier on as well.

Going well so far! Day three and I feel less bloated already.

I'm going to start running again when I have got to my 10% target. I think my knees deserve a little tlc! In the meantime, I am making the walk to pick DD up from school a brisk one - helped by pushing DS along in the stroller.

Oh moodlum - you are eville for mentioning the 'C' word on here

(I mean chocolate, of course...)

Loler - not mean at all . In fact, it is very VERY selfless of you to continue . All good for both of you.

Quite possibly fio!

I think people are quite when I tell them I weigh 15 st and am a size 18. It was teh size 18 getting tight that has prompted the diet though...and it is about time really. What with my bad back etc.

May I join? I started WW last Thursday and have 3 stone to lose, although 2 stone would be enough.
I've got my weigh in tomorrow night, done alright, but was my son's 16th birthday yesterday, so had some chocolate cake..tut tut....oh and some cream with it
Otherwise I've managed to stick to it!

I have had

1 50g bowl of Special K with Skimmed milk
1.5 pieces of toast with a scrape of spread

1 poached egg
1 piece wholemeal toast
Steamed mushrooms and tomatoes
1 apple.

1 rice cake
1 spoon of sugar
4 fish sticks

1 bowl of soup that was made with 'yesterday's points'

and tonight I am having 200g chicken breast, 75 dry grams of noodles, boiled, peppers, cabbage and mushrooms with garlic and herb passata.

And that still leaves me 3 points to play with

yes it was the size 18 getting tight that prompted mine - and my tendency to deposit all body fat on my abdomen (coronary, anyone?)

Yes, it's the suddenness of the weight gain I hate. when i was 16 the idea of being a size 16 would have horrified me. Now I would be so pleased!

I was never the skinny one - but I have somehow (ok, ok, I know how - too many pies) morphed into 'the fat friend' everyone loves to clothes shop with.

Oh I was perfectly happy at size 14. Was size 14 for years. Gradually crept up to size 16 and was still reasonably happy with that too. It's the last year that it has really fully nudge up to 18, and now those clothes are tight.

But, I'm in the frame of mind that if I'm going to diet, I may as well get back down to that size 14.

I've just been looking at dinner options. I'm very tempted to have a poached egg, beans, some leeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaan bacon, a sausage, tomatoes and a slice of toast! Sounds ginormous doesnt it? I have 14.5 points remaining and I dont really go for puddings so.....

I've found a good snack thing are oatcakes btw. They are worth 1 point. They have a reasonably low GI i believe too.

Go for it, why the hell not? You can't bank more than 4 pints a day anyway, so you might as well eat them - if you don't eat enough you will be hungry, miserable and feel deprived!
