Need to cut out the alcohol, crisps, cheese and chocolate (not totally) .

I would love some company. Will try to log on everyday to keep up with anyone who joins me but I do work full time so please dont be cross if I dont reply quickly!!!

I am really down right now about the way I look and would love to share my joys/lows with others - speak soon x

LOL VVV and Colditz - I must of been "spanking" the bread and butter pudding over the weekend then

nimnom · 08/01/2008 08:15

imgens,
I haven't got a specific dress in mind at the moment, but I have been drooling over the Monsoon website

PerkinWarbeck · 08/01/2008 08:24

I'm a bit late, but I'd love to join. I'll cheat and join the Monday weigh-in. I've 2 stone to lose, which has crept on in the last 5 years. I've no will power whatsoever, and I'm hoping that someone here can lend/sell me some.

I have a wedding to go to in april, which will mostly be attended by old school friends. They haven't seen the fat me, and I really hope I can shift a few pounds by then.

Morning everyone we all feeling strong today !!!? My weigh in day will also be a Monday - the rest of my day was not too bad yesterday but am starting with a vengence today - porridge/banana for brekkie and a lovely salad or soup for lunch - yum yum!!! I do have a big lunch coming up on Thursday though as its my dp's 40th and we are going to a fancy place for lunch instead of trying to get a babysitter for the evening.

Had one slice of wholemeal toast with my teaspoon of butter and a banana. (God I hate the measuring out of things).

Day 2 well under way and I dont feel hungry, or malnourished

moodlumthehoodlum · 08/01/2008 11:10

I am STARVING.

So far had lots of water and redbush tea (which counts as water imo), three tiny slices of toast with no butter but a little jam.

Have thrown the tin of roses leftover from Christmas, in the bin.

Now going to make the dcs lunch ratatouille and pasta which I am going to have some of. That's not bad I don't think? As long as I stick to 60g pasta?

calzone · 08/01/2008 11:13

I threw all the Xmas chocs and mince pies out so I wouldnt be tempted and the children only have school bars now (which I dont like!) instead of biscuits for packed lunches!

Had my special K today which was nice and am going to hold out til 2pm to have my second bowl.

triffic!!

and I am 37 today.

calzone · 08/01/2008 11:14

Happy Birthday!!!!

Ive just had an apple and off to drink some water as im also starving!!!!

moodlumthehoodlum · 08/01/2008 11:34

Happy Birthday!

Am bored of water. Feel like I'm going to drown but will go and have another glass.

Apparently in the WW magazine they are doing a voucher for a month's free gym membership, so I will get it and see what the deal is.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/01/2008 12:06

Happy Birthday!

Let me know what you find out about the month free trial moodlum.

Have snacked on an apple. Drunk a pint of water, had a be good to yourself yicky dehydrated veg soup (im at work) and a slice of wholemeal bread with thin spread of butter.

Need to work out points for soup later so ignore the following 57 kcals, 0.8 sat fat, 16gram packet.

moodlumthehoodlum · 08/01/2008 14:11

Arse.

Just had the remainder of a packet of liquorice allsorts that were lurking in the car.

I've worked it out though and reckon it was about 6 ww points.

Arse.

colditz · 08/01/2008 14:48

1 point for that soup vv.

Nicer if you chop peppers and cherry tomatoes into it! (guess what my lunch was?)

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/01/2008 16:14

Woohoo! I have 16 whole points for dinner

I love cherry tomatoes and raw peppers. Unfortunately, it's not practical to bring all that in to work. I rather think it takes the pee a bit to spend 20 mins in the kitchen preparing lunch too - since I'm only there 4 hours a day - 4 days a week........

Was thinking of doing salmon past for dinner but have just discovered that it is dated use by yesterday and I'm not sure it is something to chance.....

Twiglett · 08/01/2008 16:16

I'm doing slimming world

I am going to eat my weight in jacket potatoes and pasta today and truly test their hypothesis

calzone · 08/01/2008 16:16

If it looks OK and it smells OK, it will be fine.

Eat it and if you get V and D.....think of the weight you will lose!!

hahahahahaha!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/01/2008 16:20

Good point calzone, well presented

Twig - you'll have to get a move on - there's only 8 hours of the day left!

colditz · 08/01/2008 17:04

Chop it up at night, and dump it in a tupperware, then, when you have made your cupasoup, sling the toms and peppers in and LEAve for 5 minutes so they soften - it works, I did it this lunchtime. And the tomatoes are really zingy!

JossStick · 08/01/2008 17:11

Can i join?

I have 2 stone to lose and Mondays are my weighing days (so as not to pig out over the weekend).

colditz · 08/01/2008 17:13

Chicken cassarole for tea - 2 chicken drumsticks, 300g of potatoes (is not as much as it sounds) and massive plate of various veg = 8 points. That leaves me 5 to play with - tomorrow I must have a bigger breakfast, as it was genuinely crap today - cornflakes with skimmed milk, then 1.5 rounds of white toast with spread(crap I know), then lunch at 12 was a cupasoup with added point free things, an apple and a tasty salt and vinegar rice cake from Tesco (1/2 point each).

I could get very aquisitive about Weightwatchers points.

colditz · 08/01/2008 17:14

Sorry i weighed in today, have to lose 10% of my body weight (initially), 4 stone overall to get me to a healthy, nonoverweight bmi.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/01/2008 17:32

Yes - the 10% target for me is the first goal.

According to their website - my goal weight requires me to lose 6 stone 4lb

I dont think I need to lose that much. 4.5 stone would be fine for me and get me well within a healthy BMI.

colditz · 08/01/2008 18:21

Oh my goal weight is apparently less than 8 stone!!! I would be happy with 10, personally, I wouldn't be overweight.
