Do you go to class ?
How long have you been doing it & how much have you lost ?

I am on my second week (weigh-in tomorrow). I go to a weigh and go class in the city in my lunch hour and have lost 8lbs so far. I miss going to an actual class though so am looking for some support on here.

I am not telling you how much I've put on over the last week

OhComeLetUsADiorHim · 28/12/2004 21:31

I haven't weighed myself! Waiting until Friday morning, to give myself the week to recover. I weighed myself on Friday am, and had lost 2 lbs in 10 days. I will be OK with my weight if I have put those two pounds back on (so therefore will be the same as my last weigh-in at club) over Xmas, although I would prefer to lose something in the 4 weeks away.

Dizzylizzy · 29/12/2004 10:38

Ohcomeletusadiorhim, yes I've done weightwatchers before and have ALWAYS been happy on it, I can't commit to going to classes though as they clash with the dd's bedtimes and also dh works unusual shifts so I do it online.

I have just bought myself a stepper and some scales that measure body fat.

Hopefully next year will be my year.

well done Dior - if i remember rightly, didnt you say that you only lost half a pound last xmas, so you did more this year well done!

im not doing so well - i keep saying today i'll start the diet, and then i keep not doing it and thinking, oh i'll do it tomorrow! i dont know whats up with me but i am really annoyed at myself, i really really need to make an effort tomorrow to get back on track.......

lunavix · 04/01/2005 22:39

I thought I'd join in the conversation! I go to my local weight watchers, been going about 4 weeks now and have lost 7.5 lb in total, not including what I've put on over Christmas... my first weigh in back is tomorrow... I'm dreading it!

fairycakes · 04/01/2005 22:58

I am back at ww after having time off being pregnant. I was a little nervous weighing in last night... worried I had put all the weight back on that I had lost prior to get pregnant with dd2. I had lost two stone. I felt quite good as I have only put on 3 kilos since my last weigh in around march or so 2004. Okay that is three kilos mroe to lost but hey could have been worse. Now just wondering when I am going to fit on the exercise with a 2yo and a 7 week old

Interesting to see the differences between aus and the uk - although both are the points system iykwim.

fairycakes · 05/01/2005 21:30

good, i need nagging, and i am completely ashamed to say that again today, i failed. But i did do our monthly shop, and everything i bought were things i know the points values of....so here's hoping to tomorrow!!

welcome eidsvold - i am also on ww due to having a baby - well done for losing 2 stone already thats great! i put 4 put with mine......(now 17 weeks)....and have so far lost exactly one stone, although i havent lost any for about 3 weeks now!!

she doesnt sound too nice! thats very mean. my mil did the same to me when we went round for a meal, and then at the end said (sarcastically) "so how is your diet going then?" she also bought me loads of chocolate things for xmas. cow!

good luck for your weigh in im sure you'll do great, and you have been so good over xmas im sure that that one occassion wont make a difference.

okay, so far so good today, only had 1 point so far!! .....

BubblesDeVere · 06/01/2005 10:13

hi all, i'm on my third day of doing ww and so far so good, i know i have about 10stone to lose but haven't weighed myself as the scales don't come till tomorrow.

Kayleigh · 06/01/2005 10:15

I have my first weigh in today after xmas and am dreading it. But have been good for two days now so feel like i am back on track whatever damage i did over xmas.

Dior - she doesn't sound like much of a friend to me. That sort of thing makes me sooo cross.

Can we do it. Yes, we can!

I had my first weigh in yesterday since before Christmas - put on 2lb just glad it isn't more...

Marina · 06/01/2005 14:20

I'm a double lunavix - 4lb ON over Xmas.
Determined to nail this in 2005. No respect to our Bubbles but I look alarmingly like the one on TV

Marina · 06/01/2005 14:21

Erm make that no disrespect to our Bubbles

DissLocated · 06/01/2005 14:55

Can I join you lot please? Just sent off for ww at home pack. Lost about 20lbs on ww around 3 years ago but have put it back on since having dd (almost 9 months old). Have got to do something about it now before I just get used to being fat again!

Am looking forward to getting back in the saddle in a funny sort of way, feeling very unhealthy after all the Xmas stodge.

Kayleigh · 06/01/2005 15:28

Welcome DissLocated. I'm not a very good role model at the moment as I put on 2.5 lbs at weigh in today from over xmas.

Never mind, I'm still 8.5 lbs down on when I joined so this is just a minor setback.
I am back on track and mean business !!

That's the thing about weight loss isnt' it? you just have to keep going. I'm still bf at the moment so not sure if I'll find it as easy to lose weight as I did before but got to try!

BubblesDeVere · 06/01/2005 17:12

Marina, no offence taken lol.

Why do you think I call myself that, I recently had my hair done and had it cut shorted and dh told me I looked like her .

Saying that he is a pin head with chickens leg
