Do you go to class ?
How long have you been doing it & how much have you lost ?

I am on my second week (weigh-in tomorrow). I go to a weigh and go class in the city in my lunch hour and have lost 8lbs so far. I miss going to an actual class though so am looking for some support on here.

Fairycakes...

Good DVD (personal trainer), but not for the faint hearted....
You have three levels..easy, medium and hard and can work whatever part of the body you like.

Im only doing easy level for now....it is quite hard but being very overweight and not doing much activities for a long time does not really help.
But I must say that I feel very good after every workout...so definatly worth the money, especially if you cant afford the gym every week.
Good luck!!!

Dior if my name is leading you to stray I may have to consider changing it

Kayleigh · 23/01/2005 19:37

dior, with the cadbury light mousse at only 1 point a pot i wouldn't even bother trying an own brand, especially when they all seem to be at least 1.5 points.

Good girl dior
With the cadbury light mousse it has to be the 55g size, they come in the pack of four.

Lost another pound this week. Very happy . Slow and steady that's me.

I've been salsa-ing for about 4 years now, though I just had a 2 year break due to being really ill with the pregnancy and then having the DTs. But now that they go down happily at 8 I've time to dance. It's great fun and uses up a lot of calories. I dance from 10 til 12 on Mondays and when I can get there from 10 til 2 at the weekend. It's easy to learn and I think everyone should do it.

Our WW teacher said that we can't give ourselves bonus points if our body is used to doing certain exercise every week. So we must only count 'new' exercise.

fairycakes · 27/01/2005 15:54

thanks for recipe dior, sounds nice will definitely make it next week and let you know! how idd your weigh in go?

weighed myself this morning- stayed the same, which i am pleased about as i certainly wasnt expecting a loss, so at least ive not put on!!

wozzle1 · 28/01/2005 12:59

Hello everyone....

I lost 2lbs this week..making a total of 10.5lbs so far.

This is a good recipe if anyone is interested.
Get a Vanilla Mullerlight yogert with a small banana. Chop the Banana up in the Yogert and there you go a nice un boring desert for only
2 and a half points...Yum, its making me hungry thinking about it!!

Well done everyone. I lost another 2.5lb this week making 11lb since the beginning of December.

wozzle1 · 30/01/2005 11:52

Hello all...

Im very proud of myself...done a 2.5 mile walk
yesterday and am going to Epping forest this afternoon to take my little boy for a walk.
My husband needs to get fit too as he will be joining the police force in a few weeks so there are no excuses in our house at the moment!!

At this rate I will need a hip replacement by the time im 30!!!

I dont know about anyone else, but I cannot stand the weight watcher meals but have found that Tescos Healthy Eating range are fantastic and the best bit is that they calculate the points for you!!! They do a fantastic Garlic bread with cheese. One baguette is 4 points.
Yum!!

fairycakes · 31/01/2005 15:40

i completely agree with you Wozzle about the WW meals, they arent very tasty, or filling - I love the chicken korma (although 7.5 points, but still not TOO high) from tesco healthy living, its really filling, and really tasty too, you would never think i only had 7.5 points in it. The rice bowls they do are nice as well, about 5-6 points in them!
