New You plan - aiming for 3 stone by Christmas

I have stalled at this weight for ages and been on a permanent diet / watching what I eat / walking and keeping active. All to little effect. I feel like I need a boost and to give my metabolism a bit of a shock and get the scales moving downwards.

So I have decided to follow the New You plan and just placed my order.

Anybody want to join me on this journey with the aim of keeping motivated and sharing hints, tips and success stories.

Thanks @Clixsy for using it. I have been through my packs and bagged up 30 + days worth, I have a big bag of snacks and crisps plus another 45 packs to swap around if I need to. All in all, I think I have roughly 6 weeks worth of packs.
I go on holiday 7 weeks on Saturday so am going to go for a strict total food replacement for then.
We can do this! I also set my alarm to get up and actually workout in the morning. I bought a year's online membership which is really good and they do a Zoom meeting at 6.30 am where you can workout in your own home, choosing from hundreds of workouts but feel like part of a group. I have had the membership for over 6 ,oaths and have done 4 workouts!
Definitely going to start that too!

How is everyone doing?
I haven't done the exercise but am more or less back on track with the packets.
School is full of leftover welcome back buffet blips which has been tricky to navigate and I confess to blipping.
Faced the scales today and the gain since April/May was much more than I had thought. However, I had a great 6 weeks holidays so don't regret it. I will do though if my smaller clothes for work don't fit! I can get away with dresses till half term but need to be back down when it comes to trousers time.
The beauty of this plan is that I know I will be there if i stick to the packets. Onwards and downwards.

Hi All

So I posted back on this thread right back at the start but then things happened and I didn't stick with it and some how a year has gone by! And here I am more miserable than ever about my weight and feeling really down. So I am looking at both New You and Exante (not sure which is best - I tried a few Exante products in the past and didn't like them so that worries me). I'm going to read through this entire thread and try and get motivated but I'd love to hear how people are finding it, any tips or suggestions?

Thank you, can I ask how much you have all lost and in how long? On Monday it will be 9 weeks until I go on holiday and I believe, 12 weeks until the end of the year and I'm just wondering how much I could potentially lose in that time?

Hi friends, glad to see you all so motivated. I am still maintaing though was laid up with flu and went off piste so regained about 5 pounds which I am in the process of getting rid of. I found more sachets during z clear out - 62 of them in total so will be listing them on ebay if anyone wants to look.!

Stick with it girls. Some weeks I lost nothing or only 1 pound but it does shift eventually. I suffer with MH too and I found the best way through for me was not to overthink it and just do 4 meals a day, 3 litres of water and a bag of New You crisps and then forget about it. Losing weight is not easy especially when if like me you use food to cope with boredom, sad emotions etc. There were days when I ate 3 meal bars or had 4 bags of crisps but the damage wasn't as bad as if I ate a family bar of Galaxy. I feel much better in myself, not perfect esp as menopause has kicked in and I have to get HRT sorted but more 'in control' and I have also found that I can't eat huge meals now when I could demolish a chicken bhuna, pilau rice, bombay aloo and a keema naan in one sitting! Please just be kind to yourselves and remind yourselves every day that even if you only stick to one diet meal a day, you are still doing better than you did before. If you have a blip, enjoy it, forget about it and carry on plan. You are so worth it ladies 🥰🥰🥰

I have been terrible recently in the evenings. We are away this weekend but hope to get back on it properly on Monday, the plan definitely works, it's me that isn't!

Yes I am. I lost over 3 stone last year. Put half stone back on over Christmas and have restarted again. I want to lose 1 1/2 to 2 stone.

I've managed to lose a couple of pounds since the start of the year. I follow switch so my weight loss is slower.

Good luck I found that the plan reset my eating habits and I decreased my portion sizes when eating normal food.
