Couldn't be bothered finding something for 90 cals, it'll go towards my over spend yesterday. Day 3 of ok behaviour

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 15/04/2021 06:57

Just enjoy it gen. Sounds fun

Yes they do. Mrs. Have you seen the 99 calories snack ones. No point i would eat 2 or more. Maybe that says more about me though.

Down a bit today 11900 steps yesterday but foot a bit niggling today so will take it easy

Not2bObvious · 15/04/2021 07:50

I'm better with a full sized bar of something, if I have access to small bar I eat multiples. The large bars I need to ban, they just scream eat me.
Down another bit, same weight as last Thursday which wasn't great but a hell of a lot better than Mondays horror. Backs a bit achey the last few days on/off, will leave weights until tomorrow

Crisps and biscuits day as running out of food and ppp
13000 steps so not a total right off

Not2bObvious · 15/04/2021 16:07

I bought rocky road cake slice things in Aldi, seriously? I'm ok now but I was very very close to eating 2 in a row at 210 cals each. As it was, I snaffled about 130 cals of other chocolate after the cake. I need to eat bigger meals, it's false calorie economy eating small meals & then filling up on junky food. Not doing too bad, still have nearly 500 left even after dinner so I shouldn't be too concerned, it's just the feeling that I could eat everything😫

We had fish and chips for lunch, very disappointing- the fish wasn’t cooked through so it was wet inside and DH had a large pink wobbly thing in the middle of his Easter Envy hoping our dinner is nicer, at least I feel less bad about having a piggy dinner now as I left most of my FC. We got it from a posh cafe on the beach but took it away and we were so far away from the cafe it wasn’t worth returning to complain.
DH loved his birthday presents Smile
We walked 18km today along the coast line, taking breaks for coffee etc and it was so nice.

Mrsmadevans · 15/04/2021 18:43

Happy Birthday to your Dh Gen Smile
What a shame about the fish & chips Shock Pink Thing yuk!
Walk sounds fantastic! Smile
Not well done on resisting the rocky roads ! Grin
Have been ok ish , eaten 1 snack size bounty 180 cal and a pizza tonight, l will get there ! Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/04/2021 19:37

Meh to today's food. Chocolate and chips
Foot is not bad

Not2bObvious · 15/04/2021 20:28

That sucks about the food out gen, those calories don't count! Big walk, sounds gorge, sounds like a lovely birthday for your dh.
Smidge over cals, and not great steps but all in all a decent day 4. Seeing bestie for the first time in 4-5 months, what an existence this is

OP posts:
Gensola · 15/04/2021 21:42

It was a cod roe!!! I don’t know if this has made me feel better (in the sense that it is edible and not something wrong with the fish) or worse in that it looks utterly disgusting 🤣

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/04/2021 07:20

That looks interesting. Not sure I could eat that.
3/4 lb up. Is yesterday damage. But did 16500 steps. Today will be better

Not2bObvious · 16/04/2021 08:33

Oh dear, that looks unpleasant. Never heard of it, scallop roe yes but cod no.
I've had 2 conflicting weights but I'm taking the lighter as the higher one is unacceptable. Clearly the denial is strong with this one!
Linda sausages for breakfast, tasty! Workout planned for later this morning, then ep shop/visit. Then home to clean myself up for seeing bestie. I'm annoyed I'm not lovely & skinny, had best part of 5 months to do it. I suppose it's a plus I'm kind of the same. She wouldn't notice anyway unless it was drastic loss. Funny how vanity hits sometimes

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 16/04/2021 17:21

They had Linda sausages on special offer 1.25 Tesco Not my DDS like them very much 😀
Been ok till now , tea and toast and a bit of jam. Don't know what to have for tea though 😸
Might have my fave , bacon, corn & Toms 🤗😋😋
I don't think it's vanity Not tbh it's our self esteem taking a knock and needing a boost. I really hope you enjoyed seeing your bestie sounds like it's just what you could do with 🤗

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/04/2021 19:33

Crappy day
Hope the meet with bestie was good

Not2bObvious · 17/04/2021 13:38

Had the best time, badly needed. Quite tired today but not hungover which is excellent (my bar is low!) No weigh in this morning, so who knows. Didn't go full on crazy yesterday, I'd say it was a maintenance day at worst. Nothing done in the way of exercise today, hopefully get a walk later

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 17/04/2021 14:21

Ah the day out is better than any tracking and checking.

Aerobics in the park. 10000steps done already

Mrsmadevans · 17/04/2021 19:38

SO GLAD YOU HAD A LOVELY TIME NOT Smile
Have been okish again it seems to be the name of the game lately !
Watched Prince Phillips funeral which was very moving .
Beautiful day here hope everyone had a great day and enjoyed themselves Smile

Gensola · 17/04/2021 20:29

15,900 steps. Food has been ok, we are eating up random freezer food so dinner was cauliflower and kale tartlets from Lidl Christmas range (nice but weird - basically curry cauliflower cheese on a square of puff pastry) with red cabbage and a warm salad of new potatoes, broad beans and tomatoes with some leftover spring onions and parsley.

Not2bObvious · 17/04/2021 21:12

You back home gen ( unless you brought your freezer with you, no judgment)
Booked a few days away in hope we're having out of lockdown. Not that hopeful

OP posts:
Gensola · 17/04/2021 21:17

Yes not Grin we are back, totally broke so trying to live mostly on food we have in freezer and cupboards with just a minimal purchase of fresh veg/eggs until 25th which is DH pay day.
Have decided to take a pregnancy test tomorrow as we are both working on mon and Tues, Tues is the official test day but plenty of women on IVF boards here seem to get test results on day 8 or 9 after transfer and it’s day 9 for me tomorrow. Nervous but I know if it’s negative it will make it less of a blow on Tue.

Mrsmadevans · 17/04/2021 22:43

Wishing you the very very best of luck Gen Smile

Gensola · 18/04/2021 06:57

Sadly it was a BFN (negative!) so it’s not looking good. Will test again on the official day but it would be showing by now if it had worked. We will take a break from IVF now for two and a half months to give the new supplements a chance to improve my eggs then go again in July. Really sad and scared that it just won’t work for us. DH is devastated as the only reason we need IVF is because of his vasectomy so he is blaming himself.

Not2bObvious · 18/04/2021 07:16

Very sorry to hear that genThanks

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 18/04/2021 07:45

Ah gen Flowers sorry to hear that for you both
Love the freezer tapas tea though and pleased you had a good break.

Feeling crappy. Why can't I just bloody stick to this. Bah!
