I've recorded 10000 steps but forgot to put watch on this morning after shower so probably nearer 12. No fitness as still resting foot

Mrsmadevans · 10/04/2021 18:16

Great post from James Smith Life Smile
Not have not thought of that approach will have a good think about it , l think if l could get a good day done then l would be ok for a while then. It's Christmas combined with Easter that has done it for me !
I am hoping this Spring weather will help us Smile

Riding today. Then birthday party with the kids. Pizza and cake. And fizzy drinks. Dd had the best time on her first ever bouncy castle.

That hair is amazing.

Chinese, chocolate. Alcohol free cider

Not2bObvious · 10/04/2021 19:57

Awww look at the happy little face☺️ Bet there was screaming trying to get her away from it! Sounds like a perfect day with lovely memories
There's many ways to slim a cat mrs (see what I did there😉) especially with fasting. I'm an eating machine today, although not drinking after a small glass of wine, not in the humour so that's some saved cals. Time for tea & choccie, one last hurrah!

ememem84 · 10/04/2021 19:59

Yep!!! But she perked up when I told her there was cake! 😂😂

Not2bObvious · 11/04/2021 09:50

Morning all. I'm not weighing today, I know it'll upset me too much. I'll record the same weight as yesterday which was already a gain - so I'm up 1.7 in Fitbit and .9 in happy scales. Back to better behaviour today. Sun's beaming here although I'm sure it's freezing. A walk of some sort will occur, roast for lunch. Got an early night so feeling better, although my legs are a bit achey after weights and uphill jog, not complaining- shows some effort was made.
Anyone doing anything nice? We're allowed go outside 5km from tomorrow and both kids back at school, small light at end of tunnel

We are just packing to go to Dorset - staying in a converted stables in the countryside for 5 days. Currently hoping for lots of beach walks and outdoor lunches/drinks and slightly annoyed I can’t drink Grin but at least it will be good for my waist line!
We are off for a walk in a moment as my steps have been shit all week.

Not2bObvious · 11/04/2021 14:13

That sounds utterly fabulous gen, I hope you have a ball. Should take your mind off the wait as well. Pity about the gargle but hey ho it's worth it. Yummy on the outdoor eating.
Nearly at 10,000 - got around 8,000 on my walk and the rest trot on the spot or more accurately walking around my kitchen! Looking forward to lunch, love a roast

Not2bObvious · 11/04/2021 20:02

Sounds something like my day, something in the air

Gensola · 11/04/2021 22:51

I did a walk but also ate a cinnamon bun, 1/2 a sweet chai latte, a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and a digestive biscuit on top of three not very small meals. Diet starts after the two week wait Grin and at least I can’t drink atm, that will save a few cals!!

ememem84 · 12/04/2021 08:04

4296 steps. Been out for a run. Gorgeous bright cold morning.

Seen the highest number in quite some time, possible proof that a pizza after a roast dinner the day after a Chinese, which was the day after a lot of wine might not be the most diet friendly behaviour. I'm a hairs-breath under 12 stone and it's unacceptable, bloat or no bloat. That's enough now, no more stupid excuses, feeling miserable isn't helped by getting fatter. Enough ranting but just needed to say it, I'm sick of my fat self.
Got up at 7 and watched a walkie talkie while on the treadmill so that got me 4,000. Just finished a 270 calorie breakfast. Aiming to go for a walk once both kids in school, 1 down, 1 to be dropped off later. Freezer fish & chips for tea, lunch is likely to be fancy takeaway sambo as heading outside my 5km for the walk. I'll still to 1800 with the above fairly handy, no point trying to come under, only builds for weekend madness

Woke up to the cat having pooed, sicked and weed everywhere in protest because we had to close his cat flap to make sure he could be taken to the cattery on time. It’s literally everywhere - hallway, spare room, carpet in my room; bathroom. I had to tell DH to clear it up in case I am pregnant so he is not amused. I feel nauseated but suspect this is far more likely thanks to the cat than a pregnancy symptom!
Also annoyed as it’s snowed overnight and we had booked a pub meal in a garden. Why can nothing JUST GO TO FECKIN PLAN!
Anyway, rant over ... waiting for DH to take the evil cat to the cattery so I can make myself tea.

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/04/2021 09:40

Me too not. Feeling v fat. The goal setting binge live was interesting last night.
Back to it today but tea is 745 calories since shall see.

Oh gen Envy not envy.
Looks lovely em

Gensola · 12/04/2021 09:48

not don’t be so hard on yourself Flowers have you come across Rangan Chatterjee’s book at all? It’s called Lose Weight Feel Great and it’s all about how self compassion can help to sustain and motivate weight loss, I listened to him talking about it on his podcast a few weeks ago and thought it was quite compelling. It’s so hard though, I know exactly how you feel, that anger and frustration with yourself.
If this round of IVF fails I’ll be back on the fast 800 for 4 weeks I think to try and get things moving.

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/04/2021 10:06

Not Flowers

Not2bObvious · 12/04/2021 10:08

I'm not too bad at the compassion side of things to be honest, it's just seeing a near 6lb pound gain in less than 2 weeks really sent me into rant mode - I know it's not all gain but I also know very likely half of it is real. I'm such a slow and inconsistent loser that a setback like this stings.
Omg, that sounds utterly rotten about the cat. You definitely shouldn't go near it. Might brighten up and dry up for lunchtime though? Fingers x'ed
Is that the live on pp life? Have to watch it later, defo edged into binge behaviour the last few days.
Got my 9000 min done, I'm on for a 15,000 day I reckon, feeling brighter already - thanks guys ☺️

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 12/04/2021 10:52

Yes on pp. I have cancelled my membership as wasn't getting much from it but that was interesting

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/04/2021 13:38

Been for a lunch walk. Now on 9000 steps. Food planned but think will be nearer 1800 today as only 2 meals in there
