Scales has shot up over the weekend by 3lb but that's par for the course and I'm not recording it so it doesn't bother me greatly. Lots of salty food and wine, it was bound to bloat me.
Much to do today and no early morning steps done so it's going to a challenge.

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/12/2020 09:58

Eleven million lb on so climbing back on the wagon.

Not2bObvious · 14/12/2020 11:34

Good to see you're ready to come back to it life, weight management is about the only thing we have control over at the moment - we'll thank ourselves in 3 weeks time when all the Christmas madness is over and we're not going into 2021 substantially heavier

Oh Christ. 1458 steps. This is crap.

I am going to go for a walk at lunchtime as have to pop to the shop. Chained to laptop today. Sigh.

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/12/2020 11:51

I'm not sure I am ready but I do know I'm at rock bottom and have to do something.
Yy to at least stop the egg on legs getting worseSmile

ememem84 · 14/12/2020 14:18

i was going to walk to the shop but then it started to rain. biblical sort of rain which is coming at you from every which way.

i am dressed inappropriately for this weather. whilst i have my long rain coat in the car, i am wearing uggs. and dm does have wellies but they won't fit my clown feet. so i drove to the shop and back. now only on 2241 steps. which is appalling.

i will make up what i can later on today, and tomorrow will do walks. lots of walks to make up for it. i was aiming for 10k a day.....

Not2bObvious · 14/12/2020 16:47

I had an unexpected walk to the shopping centre so I'm on just over 16,000 so that's a good start to the week.
Bit manic out there, was glad to leave, was not fun

Tomorrow I’m getting an eye test. I could in theory walk there and back. But it’s in the middle of the day and I need to work. So it’ll be car there. This does mean I’ll be doing the nursery run in the morning which I didn’t really want to do. But one car.

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/12/2020 18:54

You can catch it up later In the week. Can you stand and work and step on calls?

Not2bObvious · 14/12/2020 20:50

I did 7,000 of mine marching on the spot while working, fashioned a standing desk of sorts. I know that's not always possible of course.
Closing the day a little over 1,600 and pretty satisfied. Due to my mad weekend, I ate an average of 2,200'ish😱 And even at that I probably underestimated a bit. Feels so ridiculous saying that, it's pretty bad - this coming weekend will be considerably quieter

When I’m at home yes. I was working at dparents today in the box room. Not a lot of space for stepping!!

Finished on 4026. Not good. But will make it up.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/12/2020 07:08

I came in at 28 under 1600. And 12000 steps.
Now just need to rinse and repeat.
God I'm tired though.

Not2bObvious · 15/12/2020 08:43

Down .6 this morning, slow but hardly surprising

OP posts:
ememem84 · 15/12/2020 09:15

Down .1kg this morning.

1500 steps so far. Which is much better than yesterday.

I’m home today but have done the nursery run so had to forgo my morning walk.

Will work and potter about the house today. And will park a bit further from my lunchtime appointment just to increase steps.

ememem84 · 15/12/2020 11:57

have had my coffee and am now enjoying (if you can call it that) a green tea. i drink it because it does me good, but man its only ok.

Not2bObvious · 15/12/2020 12:34

Hate green tea, gives me wicked indigestion- mind you so do crisps, I manage😂

i'd cry if crisps did that to me. crisps are just about my favourite thing in the world.

kettle chips - salt and black pepper flavour are my all time bests.

had leftover chicken curry for lunch. so delicious. will have a lighter dinner. i think maybe this is the way forwards. bigger lunch lighter dinner. time to work off the lunch.

Mrsmadevans · 15/12/2020 14:12

I have been so busy l can't tell you. Out delivering cards this morn at half 7 . Drs phone appt re my bloods . Am not diabetic or pre diabetic and my cholesterol is fine thankfully just need to up my Thyroxine to 175 mcgs instead of 150 mcgs new blood test in 8 weeks to see if it is Better .
Eating wise l am finding l want to scoff crap. l am not going to until Dec 23rd then l am going to eat for Wales!!! Until after New year or the food has gone whatever comes first 😂
Everyone sounds as I they are doing great ☺️ another week to get some off. 🤗
As for the crisps love them! l have bought a multitude of them in all different flavours ready for Christmas 🥳🎄😂

Not2bObvious · 15/12/2020 14:41

I can't buy too much before Christmas or I buy twice. Just over 11,000 which isn't enough for the amount of running about I've done.
I think that's a good strategy em, I'm dreadful for eating too little during the day and losing the plot at night as I'm too hungry, don't have the strength to fight it then. Doing ok today so far, cause of the busyness, helps greatly

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 15/12/2020 16:13

It does help enormously Not l have been banging on about it for what seems like forever 😀

Happierwithouthim · 15/12/2020 16:41

I'm still here, just not performing very well!

Last week was 20k more steps than previous week so that's an improvement.

Scales is so so too. I know I'm definitely slowed down in the digestion department so if I get that sorted hopefully scales will follow suit.

mrsmadevans great results from doctors

All herbal teas give me extra steps, because they're like a diuretic for me!

Mrsmadevans · 15/12/2020 17:17

Happier that is great re the steps well done !
I was very relieved too re the bloods Smile
Only when l rang in they said you need to speak with the Dr , l was scared l had something seriously wrong but it all ends well Smile

Not2bObvious · 15/12/2020 17:31

I'd be like a rake if I were busy all the time, I seriously wasn't mad hungry at any stage today. But I can't be pretend busy, it has to be real and out of my control busy. I was thinking yesterday I'd 10 days to be good before Christmas Eve. I've managed 1, nearly hitting the second. Love a mini plan😊

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 15/12/2020 17:39

not that's a good way of putting it.

I'm going to track yesterdays food and today, I think I'm ok for those two.
