That's ok what em. I made 8800.

Feeling very blue so not going to be posting much.

Not2bObvious · 10/12/2020 07:36

I get that life, is it the weight thing getting you down or just everything? You don't have to answer that of course. It's all a bit shite these days, and we all have our personal struggles no doubt.
I can do the steps em, just can't maintain a decent calorie deficit and that's the main thing at the end of the day. I hopefully kept to maintenance yesterday, going to add my last few nibbles into mfp now.

Morning everyone 😀
Life 💐 everything is quite horrible at the moment l so hope you feel much happier soon 🤗
Not the worst thing one is the struggle to keep the weight off after losing it There is a massive percentage of ppl , l think something like 95% who put weight back on , so in my book you are doing really really well 👏👏👏💐
Em when you are working full time it must be hard to fit in the time for everything l think 7k steps sounds brilliant 👍👏💐
Am off to MumBobs in a bit , lots going on there but hope to see a resolution today .
Take care Everyone ☺️

Happierwithouthim · 10/12/2020 08:08

Hi everyone
I went to work for 2.5 hours yesterday and then went home to bed for the day, dc passed on a tummy bug to me, I never actually got sick but felt wretched.

steps will be pathetic obviously as a result Smile

ememem84 · 10/12/2020 08:52

mrs it’s a wierd one. If I’m working in the office I get loads of steps in - walk from car to nursery nursery to the office walk around office (toilet printer tea water etc) go out at lunchtime go from office to nursery to car. Home.

At home I do have more time - as don’t have to do the commute or nursery run. But unless I go out for a walk in the day I don’t get as many steps in.

not yep it’s the calorie deficit that gets me too. Dh needs to gain weight. And I’ve slipped back into the habit of eating his sized portions.

I’m back in bed currently. Having a chill before I start my day.

ememem84 · 10/12/2020 08:52

Also sugary snacks are my nemesis. I’m working to fix this.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/12/2020 09:50

The weight is getting to me as it's creeping back up. It's is part of a bigger picture as well for me in general

Not2bObvious · 10/12/2020 10:42

Poor you happier, was there any silver lining as in loss of appetite? Sorry only joking, hope you're feeling better.
Scales 161.8, but no movement today ahem. I'm really quite chilled about the scales at the moment, I think if I can keep in the range of 161-163 for the next couple of weeks I'll be happy. That means no Monday or Tuesday weigh ins hehe

Hope you are feeling better today happier

Happierwithouthim · 10/12/2020 13:50

I'm ok today.

I ate 3 times yesterday too, and slept from 10.30-17.30 with a break in the middle to collect children from school to discover childminder had already done it. Somehow someone had changed her phone number in my phone and my texts never went to her. I was glad of it though because I needed the rest.

Sorry life is getting you down life

ememem84 · 10/12/2020 15:09

9534 steps. Did my big walk. Feeling better for it. Got back just in time as it’s just started pissing down!!!

Not2bObvious · 10/12/2020 15:23

You poor thing happier, sounds like you were wrung out.
I've decided to increase my calories to 2000 for the next few days, I'm eating around that on average anyway and maintain will do for now. As long as I can keep the gains down.

Not2bObvious · 11/12/2020 09:02

Feeling a bit rough this morning, still got up and did the treadmill so I'm close to my 9,000 - that's something at least. Went over my cals in wine, didn't eat much junk, just a few crisps. Takeaway tonight and Sunday so it'll be scale wars! 161 today

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 11/12/2020 12:35

I did nothing but had a work stress that meant I couldn't focus on fitness

Mrsmadevans · 12/12/2020 13:32

Afternoon everyone 😀
Am so busy , am being good in fact l barely have time to eat let Alone think about it 😂
Hope everyone is ok l will have to catch up! ☺️

ememem84 · 12/12/2020 13:38

5195 steps. We went for a walk earlier but had to turn back because ds needed a wee. Dh tried to convince him to have an outdoors wee in a bush. But ds didn’t want his Willy to get cold...😂

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/12/2020 15:28

Don't blame him em. It's nippy out

Not2bObvious · 12/12/2020 16:10

I've done less than 2,000 today - grrr
Going to have to drag my arse out for a walk. Late'ish night but didn't drink too much, ate wayyyy too much but it's done now.

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 12/12/2020 16:23

I just can't comprehend not having time to eat WinkShock

Out walking with dog now, it's a cool crisp day here lots of people putting up their outdoor lights dc are procrastinating, they've got the sniffles so I'll leave it until tomo I guess

Not 100% myself and stayed up too late last night, going to batch cook a little I think

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/12/2020 16:49

Only 5k steps here

Not2bObvious · 12/12/2020 18:10

Nearing 10,000 here after an hours walk listening to an audio book.

Happier l have such a lot on with caring for MumBobs ,NDN , Dd2 new house, Christmas 🎄, my Mum's house , my house & Bobbos house and we have a particularly nasty thing going on with Bobbo & his daughter who had been abusing her trust as his post. It's all so complicated. I had to write all my Mum's cards with her l am arranging her will, a new driving license and having her DWP benefits account changed . I also do all the present buying wrapping food shopping cooking cleaning laundry ironing you name it l do it. Did the local card delivering last night so it's a hello a lot of work but my sister and brother do nothing except complain about me to her so l just get on with it 🙄. 😓

Mrsmadevans · 13/12/2020 14:58

One thing l am not scoffing yay!
Not l love Babe ❤️❤️❤️
Hope you are ok Happier 💐
Em hope you are feeling better too 💐
Life 5k sounds good to me for a Sunday 😃👏
Am home now nearly time to go and see to NDN , we go in every afternoon to see him, make him a cuppa and when we leave we get him on the phone to his daughter. He can't hear the phone ringing otherwise.
So that is me signing off l will hopefully be able to watch strictly with my dinner tonight , bacon Toms & corn , my fave 😃

Not2bObvious · 13/12/2020 20:23

Wow mrs, you have a lot on your plate - not food! You sound like you cope with it all admirably, I get comfort from the elderly parent threads here. If I'm honest I don't have to do anything the level you do with my Dad but I do find it tough, the expectations. I know I say it often but I hope you're minding yourself, you've very good (as we say here! You probably say it there too)
I've had some family over today, just so nice to do something normal - I miss normal interaction

About 7000 steps today. Took the dc out for a bike ride (ds rides the bike Dd goes I. The pram dh and I walk).

Tired now so in bed. Start again tomorrow.
