It's horrible. Like some one is stabbing the side of my head.
Sweet potato and chorizo stew tonight. I enjoyed it but no one else did

Not2bObvious · 18/01/2021 20:43

I love sweet potatoes, the rest of lot hate them - that dinner would have been right up my street.
Finishing the day on vintage 31 out of a potential 36 points, and in calories 1429. Might have an apple & bring it up to 1500 🤔

Down!!! 76.9kg now. This is the first time in about a month I’ve been under 77kg. Happy with this. The mostly vegan diet seems to be helping. Now to keep it at 76 spot something for a while and work towards 75....

In office this morning for a bit. So no run this morning as haven’t got time. But will get a good 5000 steps going to nursery then to work around the office back to nursery (where car is parked) and home.

Going to try and get a walk in at lunch too.

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2021 07:05

Down .4, thought it would be more but maybe I'm retaining a bit of water after the weights yesterday. Nice one em, great to get under a threshold, mine is to get under 159 - maybe by mid Feb.
Rubbish sleep, took ages to get to sleep & now awake since 5am. No idea how I'll get my steps, sounds like it raining here. Treadmill again by the looks of it.

Excellent em it's lovely when that happens.

Yesterday I ate according to what I'd planned plus a Tim Tam biscuit and 15g green & blacks dark chocolate.

Today
B-50g malted wheats for breakfast
S-100g aldi fat free greek yogurt with 50g blueberries, 10g lemon curd and 20g granola
L-Vegetable soup with 2 slices bloomers brown bread, pink lady apple
S- options hot choc with chocolate almond milk

ememem84 · 19/01/2021 12:17

thanks - am happy that the weight is going down. I realise that i don't have much to lose which is probably why its not happening as slowly as it would do if i had 10's of kilos to lose. but i'm still happy. the change in diet and the increased exercise seems to be helping in so many ways. sleeping better, skin is looking better. win win

Happierwithouthim · 19/01/2021 12:45

How's vegan month going?

All of those things are so much more important than the number on the scales

Mrsmadevans · 19/01/2021 13:27

Afternoon everyone 🤗
Weather is dire!
Haven't eaten anything yet hoping to get back to normal IF today fingers crossed 😁🤞
Em that's excellent and yes. The slow weight loss when you haven't got much to lose ☺️👍
Nor great job well done! 🤗
Happier you have hit the nail on the head , so much more important 😀
Have a lovely day everyone 😀

Mrsmadevans · 19/01/2021 13:28

Life hope you are feeling better 💐

ememem84 · 19/01/2021 14:12

vegan is going ok. dh is doing all the cooking, and am essentially eating what i'm given.

we are doing veggie at the weekends. but its good.

Happierwithouthim · 19/01/2021 14:14

Weather unreal. Glad I did 5.5 mile walk on Sunday because might not get chance for a while again

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2021 14:32

Are you still living near the sea happier? I'm craving some seaside, I have the river close by but sea too far. I've done just over 9,000 on the spot. Struggling today

Happierwithouthim · 19/01/2021 15:07

I am not when I move the nearest water to me will be a lough with some ducks on it, but I'm still within easy access of the sea.

ememem84 · 19/01/2021 15:16

10225 steps. went for a walk at lunchtime for 40 minutes so got around 6000 steps. yes.

am so sleepy now though. could easily fall asleep at the laptop.

i love being by the sea. feel so fortunate.

Happierwithouthim · 19/01/2021 16:02

em same as that, grew up inland and have spent the last 20 years with the sea in sight at some point of the day and wouldn't have it any other way now

ememem84 · 19/01/2021 16:21

apparently its dinner time... dh has ade a vegan nasi goreng. it smells amazing (even with the smoked tofu).

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/01/2021 19:22

Too much emotion to even think of eating sensible this week. And still a headache

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2021 19:40

Bit of a lost day, reset tomorrow. Horrible rainy day, never stepped outside the house

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 19/01/2021 22:05

Beauty of not being able to go into bf's house for his birthday, dropped cake & left it to him and his mom Star

Dinner was chicken massamaam curry with actifry chips. Used last of frozen petit pois and some green beans as veg as was too busy to chop peppers and onion.

ememem84 · 20/01/2021 07:07

Oooh happjer massaman and chips. Yum.

Chicken satay and chips is amazing. The peanut sauce and the chips. Mmmmm.

Pilates today.

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/01/2021 07:13

That's why I have chopped onions and pepper in the freezer. Sounds lovely

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/01/2021 07:14

Pouring down yesterday here too ans a 97% chance of rain today

Gensola · 20/01/2021 08:09

em and happier so jealous of your seaside locations! We live near a river which winds through our town though and I love walking by it. I try to see it every day even if just for a few mins.
Have a shorter teaching day today so going to do a spin class before Iunch then get a walk in to try and up my steps. I’ve realised that when working the only way to get decent steps is to have several shorter walks broken up over the day.
I only made it to 13,300 yesterday and day before was 7,000 so really need to up my game if I want to get the 15,000.

Food planned for today: B - Greek yog and banana, almonds, L- pea soup and the last of the smoked salmon D - chicken and vegetable traybake. I cracked and had quite a lot of chocolate yesterday so need to stay away today Grin

ememem84 · 20/01/2021 08:46

yes to frozen veggies. we keep a stash in at all times. and i discovered frozen fruit a while back - berries pears (made a vegan pear and chocolate cake the other night yum!) mango and lemons and limes for gin and thai food.

also frozen herbs and garlic and ginger. massive fan.

Mrsmadevans · 20/01/2021 08:55
