Had a blow out last night, one day this week is an improvement on 3 last week so I'm not going to beat myself up over it.
Any-who, back up the .6 - not bad considering the junk I ate last night. Happy scales is showing I'm back on a downward trend, woohoo! Going for a walk today so I'll get my 9,000 at least. I think with the reduced cals following the WW plan and starting back doing weights, I might do 15,000 daily and aim for 9-10,000 on weekends. Don't want to overdo it

I couldn't sleep as it gave me sugar jitters. I need to break the cycle of this but I dunno how.
No weight today.
Going for a walk this morning though

Not2bObvious · 17/01/2021 09:42

That's not great life, you must be exhausted - hope the walk helps, I've high hopes of fresh air making me feel better. Reality is it's probably going to be tomorrow before that happens.
The doms are savage today, took an antii inflammatory which might help.

AF came so I am now on day 1 of my first Frozen Embryo cycle. Start the drugs (1 injection and three pills daily) tomorrow. Scan in 12 days to check thickness of lining and if it is sufficient, embryo transfer. So from now on absolutely no booze, one cup of caffeinated coffee per day and lots of water!

Mrsmadevans · 17/01/2021 10:59

Morning everyone 😀 hope your Doms are less painful Not 🤗
Gen am keeping everything crossed for you and your Family bless you sweetheart 💐
Been to MumBobs on the way home now 🤗

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/01/2021 11:52

Fingers crossed gen.

13k steps. Walk was just needed. Sunny crisp day trying not to break a leg on the ice. Was a giggle

Not2bObvious · 17/01/2021 12:33

Fingers & toes crossed gen
Walk was not easy, no ice but pretty cold. Lying down with a coffee & hot water bottle on my sorer leg. Living for my lunch....

Got 15k steps today but done myself a mischief moving boxes.
Been busy so not wanted to eat.

Gensola · 17/01/2021 16:55

Have been working on my presentation most of today and still not finished. Very sedentary. Going for walk now and have a yoga booked for later. Food has been good tho:
B: fritatta with potato and bacon
L: salad with ham, tomato, leaves, shredded cabbage, cheese, olives.
D: veggie cottage pie with sweet pot topping and salad

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/01/2021 17:41

Neither of my curries came out nice. Boo.

Not2bObvious · 17/01/2021 18:04

Well done on the loss happier
Had a very caloric lunch, very tasty - got some cravings out of my system. I'm looking forward to getting back to the work week menu & routine. It's much easier to diet Monday to Thursday. That was my best week in ages, averaging around 1700 a day. Hope I get a decent sleep & wake up less dom'ey

Well done happier Smile

Yoga had the opposite effect to planned and just made me feel bad about all my lumps and bumps! I have lipoedema which means I carry a lot of weight on my legs which is caused by hormones and it doesn’t respond to diet and exercise. I know I have normal fat too though and I need to lose that so I can’t let it derail me! Hoping to have surgery on the lipoedema fat once ive had a baby or we run out of IVF attempts. So late 2021, I hope. Surgeon I saw thinks I have 5 litres of diseased fat on my legs - that would be some weight loss!

Not2bObvious · 17/01/2021 20:21

Ahh that sounds so hard gen, that's a shocking amount of fluid to be carrying. You might be feeling extra sensitive (not that it isn't upsetting on its own!) with totm as well - it's a lot. Your poor legsThanks

Gensola · 17/01/2021 20:39

not thanks 🙏🏻 I’m lucky that my lipoedema seems to be a very slow progressing sort, so it’s stayed the same for pretty much my whole adult life. I have chunky legs which are noticeably bigger than my top half but with clever dressing etc I look ok, I think. The current vogue for thick thighs and large arses helps Grin I am so excited for the surgery though.

Not2bObvious · 18/01/2021 07:57

Up 2 on yesterday but week on week down 1.4 on last Monday and happy scales is showing a losing trend of .7 now - so the tug boat is turning. My indulgent lunch yesterday surely didn't help with the bloat, lots of salt & fat. No bother, be gone in a day or two. Linda sausage & crumpet for brekkie, workout later, steps to get too. The pain has lessened overnight.
Week 2 of the WW experiment, I'd say week 1 was great until Saturday but that's even an improvement for me as I can mess up as early as Thursday. I got 5/7 pretty perfect, 1 blowup, 1 after blowout. I'll make up my week 2 point tracker when I go to my "office"

Delighted, got the LM working on one of my TVs via my laptop, did a 30 min body pump. It's very fast, hope I didn't do any damage. Just over 13,500 steps done. 3 hours til dinner so I may make myself busy.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 18/01/2021 17:34

I did pump this morning and aerobic. Still has steps and 2 big biscuits. Focus on eating more fruit and veg this week to all the sugar cycle. Clearly didn't work today but baby step. Not tracked though.

Mrsmadevans · 18/01/2021 18:35

Evening everyone Smile
Took Mumbob to the vaccination hub for half 9 , when we got there they asked DH & l if we wanted to be vaccinated as well because they had a lot of cancellations and they don't want to waste the vaccine. We bit ther hands off tbh , l was otm felt as if l been given a million quid. I had a high for hours afterwards Grin
The hub was staffed with the most wonderful unpaid volunteers , the nurses were all in curtained booths with their laptops and they were excellent . I was very impressed and so thankful. The atmosphere was wonderful there everyone was so happy and so upbeat. We are all fine no symptoms at all we are so relieved! They said to us if we had gone on Saturday we wouldn't have been offered it because it was so busy.
I couldn't believe that ppl would cancel their vaccination unless they have heard about the over 75's in Norway dying after having theirs. They (Norway) have since said that there is no link between these poor ppl dying and having their vaccinations but l did wonder why so many had cancelled because you would think everyone would make it your highest priority Confused
Have been busy so food not too bad but nowhere near my IF goal yet Hmm
Not great stuff re WW & glad you are better too Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/01/2021 18:52

Happierwithouthim · 18/01/2021 20:10

Up 1lb today expected though from Saturday nights takeaway.

Not2bObvious · 18/01/2021 20:11

That sounds v nasty life, I hope it lifts.
I'm trying to eat more fruit too - replacing some sweeter treats with it. Having a banana, grapes & an apple more days. Works quite well I find.
You sound on a high mrs, good for you, glad you've had no ill effects - mostly just heard of sore arms I think?

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 18/01/2021 20:34

Not the extra fruit is a great win l think , you will find the sweet stuff too sweet if you goon for a while Smile
I spoke too soon, mine & Dh arms are hurting us lol Grin
