Up at 6am after a rubbish nights sleep, slight bit too much vino last night. My meal wasn't great but the others shared so I didn't go hungry. And I had a few chocs, 23 days is enough sacrifice!
I've 7,000 steps done. Elderly parent over tonight for Christmas, ham in the slow cooker that will be dinner tonight & part of the feast tomorrow.

I love a slow cooker ham Not did one for my Mum & Bob on Sat Smile
Have a lovely time with your Dp Smile
Gen l get up really early to make the most of the light we do get. l don't like these dark evenings, thankfully the days will slowly get longer from now Xmas Smile
Going to watch the telly all night now and eat a few sweeties , like you say Not enough of the sacrifices Grin

Not2bObvious · 24/12/2020 20:14

Hope you enjoy your treats mrs. The ham worked out really well, very tasty with creamy potato and greens. Various dessert options, I just had a couple of Lindt balls rather than a lump of cake. On the vino, trying to keep it to a limit so I'm functioning tomorrow. I run on Fridays so I'll aim to do that as usual, get a few steps in the bank. 13,600'ish, that'll be it

My ham is in the SC. .
My cheese is ruined by the addition of brandy. Bastards

Not2bObvious · 24/12/2020 22:59

Ahhh feck, I forgot I ate more chocolate. I honestly don't feel like I'm eating loads, then I confess to mfp and it's ridiculous numbers.
I'm confused by your brandy cheese life, but I'm in bad form so yes I agree, bastards!

I am wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and here's to the new year and a new beginning for us all 👏👏👏😀❤️🙏🤗🤩🎅🎅🎅🎅

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/12/2020 08:34

I usually get Wensleydale and cranberry but this year I didn't look at the label and got one with added orange and congnaque. Envy not envy

Gensola · 25/12/2020 09:46

Merry Christmas all!
17,000 steps yesterday achieved by going on a very muddy country walk. Food was okish:
Two black coffees
Salmon and spinach frittata with a slice of sourdough
Hummus and - handful of crostini
Pasta bake
A few slices of cheese
Quite a lot of red wine Blush

Today so far I’ve had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, coffee and half a brioche roll.

Hope you all have an amazing day x

Not2bObvious · 25/12/2020 09:58

Happy Christmas all!
Started my jog at 7.45, had to pause it at 8.20 for 30 mins to let the kids open their presents, all very happy, back on the treadmill to finish out my hour. 10,000 done, showered and smoked salmon/poached egg for breakfast on wholegrain with a little hollandaise- yummy!
Oh life, that sounds vile

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/12/2020 10:31

Happy Christmas

Well done not. Tis vile. Will have to hit the shops on Sunday and replace. Not going to waste the calories on it. Going against my values and bin it

Not2bObvious · 25/12/2020 10:44

I'd be raging, I love my Wensleydale with cranberry but I forgot to buy some this year - probably for the best. First year I've avoided the chocolate before breakfast but there's a lot of day left😉

Cheese with orange sounds Xmas Envy

I think we will try to get a walk in later but not sure if it will be possible. Definitely a long walk tomorrow though. I got a FB memory of two years ago, Xmas 2018 and I was a stone and a half lighter then and look so much better. My face is fat!

Not2bObvious · 25/12/2020 11:38

My fat is where my weight shows (and my gut and my ass...) so I know exactly what you mean gen, feck it - this year has been so pants it's a miracle we're not all aiming for a place on my 600lb life!
I've put the food scales away, today is a no weigh day. I'm 162.8 this morning which I'll take considering I've had 2 meals out this week. Having a little feet up and a cuppa before I get dressed, family calling in around 2. We'll start our meal 3-3.30

Not2bObvious · 25/12/2020 11:38

My face not my fat, although my fat does show haha!

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/12/2020 11:47

It's the brandy that's the issue for me
Bleurgh

Gensola · 25/12/2020 14:19

For me it’s face and the hips/thighs - I go from being hourglass to a giant pear very quickly Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/12/2020 19:56

Stomach. I do a very good impression of being heavily pregnant

Not2bObvious · 25/12/2020 20:43

I have (bizarrely) eaten very little, well in comparison to other times. But, and a big but, I've drank a lot. I'll pay for it tomorrow

Mrsmadevans · 25/12/2020 21:47

Had a lovely day with the family, not worried about the food l will be glad to get back to it after New year 😃
Hope everyone had a lovely day 🤗

ememem84 · 26/12/2020 07:19

4489 steps yesterday. Didn’t eat too much and had two small glasses of bubbly when we got to dparents then a lot of water and soft drinks until we came home. Feeling virtuous as no hangover! Dh on the other hand...!

Same again today. Dsis is going to dparents so we’re having another Christmas.

Not2bObvious · 26/12/2020 08:31

Well done em, I've no hangover either which is miraculous. Despite doing my best, still managed a good 2500-2600 cals, clearly other years my tracking was wayyyy off because I truly had v little in comparison. Only 2 meals & 6 sweets....& lots of fizz😉
Had a lovely day all things considered, it's St Stephens day here - so not as much eating, going to have party food for dinner with more fizz. Mini grill for brekkie, turkey sambo for lunch 😋

Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2020 12:19

Stepping back in and hoisting myself back on the wagon!

Was fairly lax this week so I'm back tracking today, and to pt session on Monday, have 6 paid for so will do two per week I think.

Not2bObvious · 26/12/2020 12:28

Good to have you back happier, did you have a nice Christmas?
Anyone else feel like Christmas is just done, just feels like any other Saturday. And as we know I need no excuse to eat a lot on weekends😂 Sooo much chocolate in the house, need to put it out of sight

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 26/12/2020 12:33

My Fitbit is showing good steps though so I'm thankful for that.

Gensola · 26/12/2020 12:34

Didn’t have breakfast as we woke up a bit late, decided to go to tesco for Boxing Day fizz and for a walk but it wasn’t a great success - grey and very windy which made it hard to talk and I’m now so hungry I could eat a passing dog! I get very grumpy when I am hungry.... Shock
