so that'll do it.

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/12/2020 19:59

12600 steps reasonable day but 2 chocolate bars

Not2bObvious · 21/12/2020 20:05

Absolutely stuffed, total carb'fest. Just over 20,000 steps, cream crackers

Been ok again today, not doing steps but doing an awful lot .
Getting things done on my tick list last of the cards gone and most of the shopping sorted.
Am going to regret buying so much food l can tell already 😂
Going to enjoy Christmas though 🤗
Well done everyone on the huge number of steps , that's brilliant 😀👏👏

ememem84 · 21/12/2020 20:59

Tomorrow will be a better day for me. I’m getting up and heading out for a run and am going to do a workout in the evening before dinner (between work and the dc coming home).

My walk today was nice - although raining. Did me the world of good to get outside.

Gensola · 21/12/2020 21:05

Food today has been so-so - brown toast for breakfast, a veggie burger and a few chips for lunch out with DH and then gnocchi with mushrooms, broccoli and bacon. Carb central!!! I’ve also had two glasses of wine.
13,500 steps thanks to a one hour walk with DH. Tomorrow we are going for a long walk first thing, I’m hoping to hit 15,000 steps a day and keep portions small even if food isn’t low carb Mediterranean diet food all the time!
I also want to go on the exercise bike for 30 mins tomorrow.

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/12/2020 07:57

I will be walking to the skate park today 30 minutes ish there. Then onto Aldi and back.
Weigh today is less but not obsessing over it until Sunday.

Not2bObvious · 22/12/2020 08:10

I haven't chanced the scales yet this week, have pizza 2 days in a row wouldn't help the cause. For the next 2 days at least I'm aiming to keep to 2,000 and 12-15,000 steps. I've managed it the last 2 days ok. Target is 2200-2300 for the 3 Christmas days. If I managed that it'd be a huge improvement on previous years, in fact it'd be a huge improvement on a normal weekend😂

5081 steps this morning so far. Amazing what a good walk will do. Went out at 8 and came back at 835. Fast steps.

Am now chained to laptop for a bit but am going to walk to the supermarket later and then do a shop. Then walk back. May venture out again once I’ve finished work.

Not2bObvious · 22/12/2020 12:13

That's a great amount of steps in 35 mins em, you must walk as fast as I run!
On just over 8,000 - having company over this afternoon and morning spent in a frenzy of getting ready. Only got 1,000 of that running around the house though, the rest was 2 trips to different supermarkets. Knackered already. Made a 3 layer cake for the company, need to earn the calories for that 😋

I ate some Lindt chocolate last night. 6 squares of deliciousness 😋😋😋
I am ok today didn't feel guilty or go on the scoff even more but l think I probably have signed off for Christmas 😳🙄
Excellent steps everyone 👏👏👏🤗

ememem84 · 22/12/2020 13:43

6944 steps now. haven't really done much - have walked slowly to the shop and around the shop. but am still mostly chained to the laptop.

it was a bit of a power walk not. feeling good for it though.

food so far:

apple and grapes
coffee
green tea x 2
leftover sausage casserole and orzo pasta for lunch
few bits of chocolate.

have ordered burgers for dinner from local pub. they're so so good - gone for one chicken and one beef - then dh and i can split them. the chippies they send with them are all home made and delicious. they're super potatoey (if that makes sense...) all local beef too. yum. must drink more water though.

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/12/2020 14:46

I'm on 6000 but cycling to and from the skate park

Gensola · 22/12/2020 15:20

Food has been better today so far:

Kiwi fruit and two eggs
Black coffee

Pan fried prawns with salad and a slice of sourdough; oat milk flat white.

Dinner is already made and is a bean and vegetable stew. Assume wine will occur.
Walk today was cut short sadly and DH is doing my head in offering me sweets and chips etc when I have repeatedly told him I don’t want any sugar or junk food. It’s like he thinks he’s being kind when in fact he is just being unbelievably annoying and unhelpful.

Not2bObvious · 22/12/2020 21:18

Long busy day here, got my 15,000 - just over 2,000 but that's estimated as there was cake and a bit of Chinese for teaBlush
Zonked now, plan is to get up for treadmill at 6, then work til 4pm - then off to the 4th or 6th Jan, I'll see how it goes.
Hoping the Christmas feeling comes at some point, hard year

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 23/12/2020 07:38

That is annoying gen.
Doesn't feel like Christmas Eve tomorrow. Enjoy your last day

ememem84 · 23/12/2020 08:34

5383 steps after a 4.75km walk. Total of 43 minutes. Windy but dry so far today - nice to be outside!

Not2bObvious · 23/12/2020 14:07

Bucketing down here since last night, miserable and cold. Did my 9,000 walk/jog from 6-7am, work, lunch, will work until 4'ish - then I'm done. Looking forward to some treats tomorrow after 23 days of 1 teeny-tiny chocolate a day. Still haven't weighed, no point. I can't/won't eat less than 2,000-2,200 for the rest of this week and the scales probably won't be a true representation of my actual non bloat weight due to salty/treaty food and wineBlush
Christmas Eve Eve and not a pic of festive spirit here - going out for dinner so that might drag me into it

ememem84 · 23/12/2020 14:14

10,007 steps. went out for another walk at lunchtime. cold and breezy but dry. cloudy and grey. but dry. aiming for 12,500 today. anything more than that will be a bonus.

Mrsmadevans · 23/12/2020 15:44

Not2bObvious · 23/12/2020 16:42

Glad you're getting time to put your feet up mrs, you have absolutely earned it!
Nothing wrong with my appetite, starving and looking forward to a feed cooked by someone else. 12,500 - should get my 15,000 by the time I get home

OP posts:
ememem84 · 23/12/2020 16:45

10406 now. have spent most of the afternoon reading docs on screen or on video calls which meant i couldn't walk about. sigh. have signed out now though.

Just off to MumBobs , have 2 prescriptions to pick up after them bit of a mountain of ironing up Bob's to do but that is ok ☺️
Bob put Mum's hearing aids in the denture pot complete with Steredent 😂 if l don't laugh I'd cry 🤣 they have been in a bag of rice overnight 😂
Food is ok am not being that bad food wise much to my amazement 😳we shall see ☺️
Have a lovely day everyone 😀

Gensola · 24/12/2020 09:33

Morning all! Happy Christmas Eve!
Ended up on 10,957 steps yesterday. Fasted until 2pm from the night before.
Food- cheese and ham toastie with massive pile of salad. Chicken and pepper curry with rice. White wine ...three glasses 😬 four black coffees and not enough water!

Today, DH wants to make pasta bake! No idea why as it isn’t particularly Christmassy ahaha but his pasta bake is tasty and worth the carbs. So far I’ve had a couple of black coffees, planning to fast until lunch.

I would like to get 15,000 steps a day but it’s hard when we lose the light so early.
