Way hay ss! well done!!!

I have been trying to make up for my overeating earlier in the week - was told when I did the school run yesterday (very rare occurence as I'm usually at work) by 2 different people that I was looking well so I must be doing something right!

And I took delivery of some size 12's from M&S - some of which even fitted!

spottyshoes · 20/10/2007 21:23

Thanks Pinkrose! What are sun bite? Actually no dont tell me, I cant afford to become addicted to any more foodstuff! Mmmmm Galaxy - I love your menu today!!!

susiecutiebananas · 20/10/2007 21:23

spotty i feel really bad about not being happier for you. i actually was.

I had fishermans pie tonight for tea.
only ate one teeny slice of bread from Isobels bowl with lemon curd on it... god i love that stuff!! ( must be really bad for you... )

Forgot lunch today.... not good. must east regularly. dreading weighing on tuesday.

spottyshoes · 20/10/2007 21:25

Yay tangerine!!!! Well done on the clothes fitting! Doesnt matter how many lbs we lose as long as the nice clothes fit!

I'm going to treat myself when I get down to a proper 'complete' size 12.

susiecutiebananas · 20/10/2007 22:05

That is also exactly what i'm aiming for. To be a really comfortable size 12 like i was before Dd.

I dont mind how much weight i lose at all, so long as I can do that. ANd boy will DH credit card take a bit of a bashing then! mind you, i dont think he'll mind.. he wont have to listen to me moaning about nothing fitting me and everyhting looking terrible on me...

susiecutiebananas · 21/10/2007 08:41

Morning Slimming ladies!

Had a good start already!
2 clementines and an apple and large mug of tea.

got to keep it up... for a whole day! and ask mum to stop bringing over things to cheer me up like cake and choc biccies.

hope you have forgiven my today spotty....

good luck with your day everyone.

mylittlefreya · 21/10/2007 20:24

My last message was absolute drivel.
I meant to say -
dd had the vomiting virus, and hence the sleeping
my tummy is blown up and I am bunged up - bit better now

Today and yesterday were not great. Sleep deprivation is terrible - I crave comfort of any kind, and food seems the easiest. Plus DP is on nights, and I am stressed.... enough excuses. It's going to be bad tomorrow.

Am going to really restart this week, as a bare minimum
exercise every day
lots of water - a glass of water before I eat or drink ANYTHING else
no nibbling

I will be inspired and if I am nibbly come on here and chat.

Spottyshoes and susiecutie - ra!ra!ra! Well done you two!

pollywollydooooooooodle · 21/10/2007 20:49

hi all

pollywollydooooooooodle · 21/10/2007 20:50

susiecutiebananas · 21/10/2007 21:01

laloupgarou · 22/10/2007 10:31

Hi
I'm here!!! Sorry to hear there's so much sickness about at the moment. I normally weigh on a Tuesday night but weighed this morning and have only lost 0.5lbs this week. Here's hoping I can get that down by another 0.5lb by tomorrow night. So far I have lost 2.5lbs (plus a previous 2lbs as I had started the week before katybump started this thread).

pollywollydooooooooodle · 22/10/2007 11:15

morning all!

7 lbs!!!!!!!

ok , only joking....just wondered how it would feel to write that

another boring 1lb...whih makes 3lbs for me altogether

Ra! Ra!Ra! croaks Polly...

mylittlefreya · 22/10/2007 16:34

Hello!

I'm here!

Why does the weight seem to go from places you don't really need it to, leaving me still with a horrible tummy?

Breakfast: crumpets x 2 with flora
mid am: cappucino (was out w dd)
lunch: egg mayo (low fat mayonnaise) sandwich, watermelon.
I am now really really peckish. sigh.

Have pork stir fry for tonight.

Most of you are doing better than me - but we are all plodding along, aren't we?

mylittlefreya · 22/10/2007 16:42

Also, get better pollywollydooooodle

Am still with you susiecutie - you are doing so well. Is your DH off with you this week?

spottyshoes · 22/10/2007 18:57

Well I initially thought i'd done ok today until I add up all the coffees I have had!
Yesterday
Brekkie: Museli, glass of oj
Lunch: Cheese on toast
Dinner: Sirloin Steak, 6 Chunky chips, Brocolli, carrot, asparagus. Ketchup (so classy!)

today
Brekkie: Cornflakes & banana
11'ses: binns cafe latte & half a pecan pastry ( well it was free!)
Lunch: Prawn Jacket pot & salad & Mocha (still in binns)
PM T: Debenhams cafe pot of tea
Dinner: veggie stirfry with egg noodles

Been out shopping ALL day so could have been worse i suppose!

Well done on the losses everyone & sorry there is so much sickness going around. I'm writing this at super speed as Babyshoes is coming down with a cold too and wakes up loads coz he cant breathe properly any minute....now

susiecutiebananas · 22/10/2007 20:21

hi So glad you are still here!

I will weigh tomorrow morning... talk aboutputting it off sticking to the same weigh day

had horrible day today. Isobel decided to leap headfirst off the bed, and landed very hard on her head. then was sick... then went all horribly pale and not well, i rang mum to get her to take us to a&e as IsoBE|l so floppy and she wsa sick again, alot I waS terribly worried. by the time we got into hospital, she had perked up quite a bit.

eventually let us come home. she has a horrible bump still feel so guilty. i just couldnt catch her in time.

so, had a bit of chocolate this arvo with mum to calm our nerves... so it was technically medicinal

keep it up girls... will let yo know what the news from the scales in the morning...

MarkStretch · 22/10/2007 20:49

Hello!!!!!!!!

I gave up posting for a few days cos I was a big fat sow eating everything in sight!

Back on the WW now and a friend came over Friday with 3 WW recipe books, a points counter and WW digital scales so now I am fully prepared. Made their sweetcorn pasta to take to work tomorrow and weighed everthing out- looks like loads of food, yum. Got assessments to do tomorrow so will be cycling all over the city.

Went to the pub Friday night as DD was staying at a friends and stuck to white wine (total change from my normal beer and everyone thought I must be ill!) and I alternated every wine with a glass of water and felt very proud of myself.

Glad to hear you are all doing well. Thought I would switch the laptop on to distract myself from feeling hungry. Had stir fry for dinner and it just didn't fill me up!

susiecutiebananas · 22/10/2007 20:56

Well done tangerine ! that must feel SOOOO good! keep it going hey {wink]

susiecutiebananas · 22/10/2007 20:59

sorry, that post took ages to send and then there were two more!

I reckon we ought to think about stretching this stone loss out to losing a stone for christmas... what to you guys think? I mean, we are all doing better than we were before we started ,and it takes a bit of time to get into it hey?

how bout we take a small amount of pressure off, nd have christmas eve or something like that, as the deadline for a stone... might be more likely to stay off that way too???

just a though... i'm sure Katy will approve

pollywollydooooooooodle · 22/10/2007 21:03

welcome back markstretch!

i was also not filled by my eve meal...and after a graze around the kitchen dragged myself on here to get away from the cupboards! Hubby has been shopping today and there is cake and choccie and crisps and ice cream and ....well, you name it! They are all calling my name even tho' my after dinner dinner means i'm not actually hungry now..

am hoping theres a juicy thread to hold my attention for a bit

I find it helps me to break what might be a bigger eating jag by making myself post on here every day if poss...
