I'm back and i feel sick. Have just had a huge dinner and then a cuppa with my caramel! It was delicious for the record. I'm surprised i actually made it up to the computer. Thats it now - only health grub from now on. Feel strangely motivated for a change.

katybump · 30/09/2007 19:56

i don't know binkleandflip ,maybe just ditch the junk ,eat fresh and excercise ,thats what i'm going to try, well for a couple of weeks and see how i go. great that you go to a personal trainer .
welcome boredveryverybored you will lose weight with us,i don't know why but i feel like something has clicked this time

The fruit and veg with exercise definately works. I've been feeling like s* lately and i think that'll get better with healthy eating and exercise. Seem to have no energy whatsoever at the minute. Thats probably cause i'm a couch potato with a big stash of chocolate - times are a changing!!!

Heated · 30/09/2007 20:06

I'm in!

After baby no 2 in 2006 I haven't a clue what I weigh. I'm too scared to dig out the electronic scales in the garage and find out, but I'm 5ft 6 and a size 14.

Haven't been able to exercise well since damagine my knee but need to get moving and stop pigging out on Sensations Crisps and big bars of galaxy, once the children are in bed!

MrsSeanSlater · 30/09/2007 20:07

Oh go on then I'm in too. I'd ideally like to lose two stone to be sylph-like again but I'll settle for one [grin}

binkleandflip · 30/09/2007 20:09

Hey MrsS! Was worried I'd been shunned but I've found the thread now - great title

notolerance · 30/09/2007 20:09

Me too please! Weigh almost the same as I was nearly 2 years ago after dd3, so depressing! To lose 1 stone in 6 weeks would make me so happy but I've been trying for so long that I've got into crap viscious circle or being good then binging on crap. Would be great to break this cycle. Weekends defo the worse for me!

MrsSeanSlater · 30/09/2007 20:11

Binkle, what thread?

MrsSeanSlater · 30/09/2007 20:13

Ah, just seen it...

collision · 30/09/2007 20:14

Me too!

Am having special k for breakfast and lunch and healthy dinner.

and walking

and water

and fruit!

Jazzicatz · 30/09/2007 20:15

Can I join too? I need to lose a stone would be great to have some support.

MarkStretch · 30/09/2007 20:17

And me too please? I'm getting married next year and really want to start losing weight now so I don't put even more on over Christmas and have more to lose!

How is everyone going to go about it then?

DeirdreBarlow · 30/09/2007 20:17

Is there room for one not so little one?
I need to lose about 3 stone altogether and need re-motivating.

inamuckingfuddle · 30/09/2007 20:17

will join you too, if I can find some will power soemwhere...I'm size 14, as I have been for as long as I can remember, would like to lose a stone or 3

inamuckingfuddle · 30/09/2007 20:19

my first step will have to be cutting out the mid week booze and the puds at work - subsidised lunches with crumbles/sponges/pies and custard on offer every day is no helping - bloody tasty though

elliemac · 30/09/2007 20:19

Why don't we all just buy some of those 'suck it in' pants!!!!

MarkStretch · 30/09/2007 20:21

Yes I will cut out all midweek booze. I already bike to work and back everyday but I will have to take a healthy lunch and stop going for melted brie and pepper sandwiches from the shop over the road!

katybump · 30/09/2007 20:24

hello everyone ,got sidetracked by the phone. i think the best way to do this is to be motivated, keep the stone goal in mind and keep this thread active so we can help and encourage each other day or night and weekends.posting food and recipe ideas might help to . oh and i always find having a laugh cheers me up for alot longer than a chocolate bar.

katybump · 30/09/2007 20:26

do they do those pants with a panel for my chins elliemac?

OP posts:
MarkStretch · 30/09/2007 20:28

I've tried those pants (not for my chin though!) and they just seem to squeeze all the fat up and give you bulging love handles!!!!

katybump · 30/09/2007 20:32

we don't have love handlesin my house i have the full love cupboards, put it this way if i feel into deep water my spare tyre could keep me afloat

They are the most uncomfortable things in the world. I once allowed my DH a quick glimpse just as we were getting dressed to go out - Things have never been the same again . Does anyone watch Girls of the Playboy Mansion? I want a bum like Kendra!

katybump · 30/09/2007 20:35

no sorry i don't watch that but can well imagine,my bum looks very sofa shaped at the moment but it will change!!!!!

MarkStretch · 30/09/2007 20:37

Do I HAVE to go running? I hate it but it does work....... Is biking enough do you think? Its not all downhill!

elliemac · 30/09/2007 20:37

Should join an gym really or get a personal trainer but i'd probably tell them to F Off once it started to hurt. Anyone know how much a trainer costs?
