hiya i really want to lose a stone,i have more than that to lose but figured if i started with that it would be easier.i'm going to do a healthy eating/daily walking type thing and hopefully it will work ! anyone want to join me

Have managed not to nibble so far this eve so i will go to bed before the urge really grips me

I have done well today
lunch:small bowl pasta and mince
Tea : stir fry with tiny bit of oil, loads of veg and small amount of noodles
water water waterr...

tis the key i'm sure! not been hungry at all.
having a peach now

Sorry I went away. Inlaws arrived uninvited (joy) whilst DP was on nights (more joy).

Yesterday:
breakfast: mini shredded wheats, ss milk
lunch: half a pizza (not great but not too bad), raspberries
tea: baked potato w sausage/veg casserole

water and diet coke and one coffee
4 miles walking

and guess what: dd (10 months) slept through for the first time ever!

well done susiec....now is it poss to live in a birthing pool (clean ) filled with drinkable mineral water until the weight is gone?

I think we're having wedges , fish and mushy peas with crumble and custard tonight so i will be eating very modestly and not snacking today!

Well done Susie C - really good menu today. I really need to step up the water intake, dont drink nearly enough.
Your dinner sounds rather yum PollyWD, did you manage to avoid the snacking?

Lunch: Pasta, pesto, pinenuts & mushrooms
PM T: Apple
Dinner: Stirfried Hoisin Pork, Egg Noodles, Beansprout, mini corn, mangetout

Hi all,

Ive done pretty well this week really. (ok five days). i havent weighed myself yet (seems little point after five days) but clothes are getting looser. ive had some blips but have eaten much less than normal. if anything, perhaps the bloating has gone, ive kept off white bread which seemed to work before..and i could be wrong but my face definately looks slimmer (again, could be due to non-bloat).

i am craving exciting food!

frightowl, keep it boring for a bit longer and even an apple flavoured rice cake will seem exciting......and a milky way will make you pass out with excitement....think of how much you will save on food bills!

well done spottyshoes...are you off the cappuccinos now? i will be startled if you haven't lost anything monday

lunch... 1 piece toast and jam, small slice banana cake, apple
eve... oven fish with wedges and mushy peas, crumble and custard
now a cappuccino

I will eat nothing else!!!!!!

and mylittlefreya, could you please ask your DD to tell my DD how she did it? she is nearly 10 months and has never slept more than 3 hours in one go

so, today, again not too bad.
forgot breakfast
2 wholmeal seeded rolls with thin spread of lemon curd.
tea: not had it yet
lots of water again.
apples x3 1 pear and a banana!

susiec thankfully dd and dh have done a good job as a cake disposal unit this evening...
well done today!

spottyshoes....phew, i thought i was on my own with my addiction! (i refuse to buy the double chocomochawotsit though....that way madness lies...) Anyway wine isn't too bad in itself is it...assuming you don't drink a case or follow it with a kebab and chips (ahh.....)

I added an apple on to mine and have come on here for the excercise (typing must use some cals surely)....then i'm off to bed before the late night munchies start

Good for you, I have to add 2 glasses of red wine a slice of toast and slice of banana bread. Not quite as sinless as an apple! what are the choccie whachamacallits? I have the nescafe decaf sachets, thought I was being modern having the decaf and now you tell me there are new varieties!! and they are chocolate!!??? hyperventerlates

just had some american pancakes and maple syrup... well, at leasts its from a natural source ??

Hi

I really hope I can report a loss this week, will need you all to keep me in check until Monday.

Today so far I have had a slice of toast and coffee. Going to have some lentil soup and wheaten bread for lunch. Think I'm going to make our own pizzas with the dcs tonight. Will go easy on the cheese and stick to healthy toppings (and will try my best to avoid the garlic bread).

Going to try to get out for a good walk today and may go for a cycle with the dcs tomorrow.

Today i am going shopping, with my menus in hand. i did the "sin and slim" diet before and it was the only one i can truly say ever worked for me, it wasnt hard to stick to either. my downfall was when i had a particularly busy week and i fell off the wagon! i lost half a stone on it before in the first two weeks, with a bit of excersize. so thats the way im going i think. its great...you just whack your details in, answer a few questions and it works out a plan for you.

Have got to the bottom of the sleeping: a vomiting virus. Sleepy all day yesterday and sick sick sick. And then up half the night. Honestly can we not have just one week where everything is normal and straightforward!!!

Anyway - last night - pasta with pesto and ricotta, and green salad. And a coughglassofredwinecough.

Today - 2 pieces of wholemeal toast and jam, lunch - cheese omelette and green salad.

My tummy feels awful - all bloated and constipated - sorry if TMI. Things do feel looser elsewhere though.

mylittlrfreya, hope your tummy settles soon.... though positive side of iit is, you might lose a pound or two!

keep going girls... weekends can be the toughest times... just keep picturing that item of clothing you wish ou could buy, or wear again.. imagine it on you at christmas... can help to have a goal like that

Well I never - I'm quitting this dieting lark! This week I have had, pastas, cakes, wine, chinese meal etc and I just weighed myself and have lost 5lbs!

I'm starting a update list on our weight loss seeing as we are nearly half way through, anyone to join me?

Well, i'm not supposed to be weighing until tuesday... i'm scared if i look too early, and havent done well, i'll just think sod it and pig out for the weekend and start fresh on monday... god i have no will power!

sorry spotty, but so far i've lost 3lbs.. i did start a week after you though.. my excuse and i'm sticking to it

erm, dont want to rain on your parade here... but, i used to find when i was on slimming world, i wa always much lighter on a friday or saturday, but when usual weighing day came round on a tuesday morning, i would be back to having lost only a couple of pounds or so... not sure how or why that happens, but it did, alot.

Thats why you should only weigh once a week, at roughly the same time.

SO sorry, i obviously do hope you have lost 5lbs!!! of course i do.

I'll go away and stop being a horrible mean thing.

I weigh in on Saturday mornings every week. Haven't lost a thing for 2 weeks so I'm grabbing the 5lbs with open arms.

well overnight i went from seeing the end of a (long) pube poking out from under my belly last nigh to barely being able to see my feet this am! Am full of gas! sorry if too much info!Hasn't affected my appetite just my choice of jeans

lunch..lowfat cream cheese and salad sarnie,a nub end of banana cake
eve...veggie curry and plain rice with a bit of naan
later will have cappuccino and a penguin, i think

well done spottyshoes.I'll wait till monday to weigh myself am too scared to do it now.Had pizza last night and 3 snack bags of walker sunbite they're so yummy am getting addicted to them.today I had
bf golden syrup instant porridge
lunch 1/2 ham and pinapple panini
dinner 2 tortilla wraps with chicken,kidney beans .tomato and pepper
snack bag of walker sunbite, small bag m&ms,small galaxy bar,plum and apple
Need to get back on track tomorrow.
