its my lower tummy too that seems to go nowhere I never had this problem before. it was always failry on the flat side. stil i'm sure wtih a load of weight off, it has to go somewhere!

I'm not very active at al at the moment, so am really really watching my intake as i cannot exercise. so really strict 2 weeks coming up for me.

Dh is here too, and he's just done his BMI and at the very least, needs to loose 2 stone! I love his tummy so we will be both very good on out holiday at home!

keep going girls. you CAN do it. dont worry if you fall off the wagon.. just get STRAIGHT back on!!! then less harm is done than thinking ,o well, i've done it now, may as well have a blow out! ~( I know, we have ALL done that at some point.

good luck tonight with you dinners

susiecutie · 17/10/2007 16:27

oh, sorry your little DD had this problem mylittlefreya. do they think she might need surgery to repare them? I do hope its gets resolved soon for you... horrible worry i bet.

tangarine · 17/10/2007 19:54

Hello ladies,

Just back from 3 days working away. I did eat lots and fruit and salad and drank water - but also ate lots of cake, cookies, cheese, chocolate and had a few glasses of wine...

Back on the waggon tomorrow....

Hpe you are all well

spottyshoes · 17/10/2007 20:42

Mrs SS, if they said 5lbs, it's 5lbs, I've got to take their 1st answer I like your trick of buying minis too!

Lalou I really dont see the problem, healthyish brekkie, oats for lunch, protein, carbs & salad for dinner - sounds like a good day to me

Yay DI - congrats on getting the dress! and well done on the walking

M.L.F - sorry to hear about your dd. I dont know what PFB means but I know what you mean about trying to be commonsensical about things but failing occassionally - i think we all do when it comes to our dc's!!! I echo what SC said and hope everything is resolved soon. xx

S.C I'm with you on the lower tummy! I blame my c.s (had it before that but no damn it - it is the cs )

and well done tangerine on the water and fruit (wine = grapes). It's all to easy to reach for the greasy buffet when you're working away so i'm very impressed!

Our mothership KatyB should be back tomorrow to pick up the pompoms - I wonder if her absence is why a few of us are sinning!!??

Anyway my woeful contribution....

Brekkie - museli & fruit salad
11'ses - banana bread
Lunch: Home made chicken soup (3 mouthfuls it was yuck) & homemade small pitta
PM T: More Banana bread
Dinner: Lamb, pots, green breans, carrots, brocolli
supper just now: Even more banana breadand 2 glasses of wine

I'm quite into bananas today . Lots of water but not too much exercise.

oggsfrog · 17/10/2007 20:47

Weigh in today and I've lost 1.5 lbs. That's a total of 9.5 altogether.
Not drinking enough water though and not doing enough any exercise. Dd back at school next week so I will try to start my daily 2mile uphill walks again.
Today I've eaten;
egg mayonnaise with crispy bacon.
macadamia nuts
lamb chops and broccoli
Not had remotely enough liquid so will go and drink a pint of water now before I have a whisky while I soak in the bath with a book.

susiecutie · 17/10/2007 21:21

I've just finished off the second rice pudding i've made in 3 days... and am now munching a big bowl of melon and grapes someone brought round to me today. Its lovely..

tomorrow, i will be having
Breakkie: Fruit and yoghurt
Lunch: mince beef and onions with.. something that isnt mash potato any ideas ?
Dinner: god knows, have friend bringing it in for me, but it will be healthy, shes good at that!

so, ideas for lunch would be great please

pollywollydooooooooodle · 17/10/2007 21:28

9.5 lbs....well done Oggs! Enjoy your 3 B's (bath, book, booze)

I'm with you spottyshoes i've had a banana sort of day too. I woke up with iron resolve so when dd rewquested banana cake , i thought ok i can resist this...huh!

today
brekkie...muesli

late am.... banana cake mix off the spoon whilst dd scowled at me

lunch... salmon salad sarnie, french onion soup

2ish...banana cake

evening...smallish piece of veg pizza, baked potato, carrots and peas and...banana cake

now ...cappuccino and trying not to think of that bl**dy banana cake

pollywollydooooooooodle · 17/10/2007 23:41

well managed not to eat any more banana cake but can't sleep and have just added 2 crumpets with marmite to my list...

oggsfrog · 17/10/2007 23:43

Thanks Polly. Didn't actually drink the pint of water, but have upped the fluids by forcing myself to have a second glass of whisky

pollywollydooooooooodle · 17/10/2007 23:51

might have a glass of something myself

susiecutie · 18/10/2007 00:04

I cant sleep either. So i've just had a large mug of hot milk with sugar in it.

the sugar and hot milk work together and do actually produce a chemical response and release something ( which slips my mind! ) that helps sleep!

wish i could sleep! all i can think about now is food

i need buddies NOW!!! dont let me eat anyhthing else... how about a peach? i could have a peach?

goes off to find a peach

pollywollydooooooooodle · 18/10/2007 00:10

tryptophan?

STEP AWAY FROM ANYTHING EXCEPT THE FRUITBOWL SUSIEC!!!!!!!!

Don't know that i am much use this pm as a buddie....have now finished my (old xmas stock) ginger wine and am going to go to bed and read before i have the chance to have any more banana bread

susiecutiebananas · 18/10/2007 00:31

polly buddy, DONT GO!!! save me, and i'll help you with htat last crumpet you are eating!!!!

Ive got choc biccies now shouting to me... the peach did nowt, nothing, nada

I wonder if ther are more calories in a mug of milk with sugar, or 4 borbon bics?

pollywollydooooooooodle · 18/10/2007 00:34

ignore the biscuits ...that crunch they make is the sound of a diet breaking...

have a banana (not in a cake)

pollywollydooooooooodle · 18/10/2007 00:38

polly goes to bed, licking the last bit of marmite off her fingers....
g'night and good luck with the evil brown ones susiec

susiecutiebananas · 18/10/2007 00:46

MrsSeanSlater · 18/10/2007 18:33

No mini Aero for me tonight and just plain water to drink.

laloupgarou · 18/10/2007 19:28

Hi everyone

Did a bit better today, here's hoping it stays this way

Breakfast - made some scones (with half-fat butter) so had one of those with cup of tea

Lunch - half a chicken wrap

11'ses: None
Lunch: asparagus, courgette & brocolli fritata
