I had success with weight loss via a thread in January, but things have slipped a bit and I want to get down half a stone. Anyone in!?
I’ll be calorie counting.

If not I’ll just talk into the void; helps me to feel accountable..!

I've just got weighed as I was curious if my clothes feeling looser was psychological or not. Since starting on Monday I've lost 3-4lb. I was 10st 13 - 11st. I'm 10st 10 this morning.

Really impressed with everyone who’s managed to get out for exercise. I’ve been digging up our garden in the evenings this week so hopefully burnt a fair bit through that.

I’ve also been really good at sticking to low carb and IF. I’ve always been very hangry if I miss breakfast but I’m surprised at how easy it is now to go without eating until 11.30

Down 2.5lbs since Monday, just need to make it through the weekend! We’ve got friends coming over tomorrow night and we normally always drink rose so need to get in some vodka and sodas as my low carb alternative

I am having a crap day. Dd got me up at half 5 so I've been up longer than usual with less food allowance and I'm starving!
I haven't done too well all week to be honest.

I'm a bit late to the party but can I join in? I need to lose (half) a stone but somehow I'm finding getting motivated to lose just that harder than when I had 3 stone to lose a few years back. It hardly seems worth the effort for just a few pounds but I know they will make a difference both to my body and my mind. I'm 10.5 and would like to be under 10. Ideally I'd be 9.5 but that's quite optimistic.
I'm going to try IF again this coming week, I find that fairly easy. We usually eat early in the evening so I can eat again around 10.30 in the morning.

Hope everyone else does OK over the weekend, it's tough

Not had a bad week, not been snacking between meals, waistbands feel a bit better and have been using a Pilates resistance ring so thighs & bum don’t feel so wobbly but need to be careful it all doesn’t go to pot over the weekend. Meeting a friend for a long beach walk this am which will hopefully mitigate the Indian takeaway tonight for DH birthday, then tomorrow DH parents coming for BBQ, this shouldn’t be too bad as will have lots of salad with a steak. Glad it’s a nice weekend, enjoy the sunshine everyone, will be thinking of this thread to hopefully get me through.

Had a good 1st 6 days. Lost 3.3lb. But broke up from school yesterday so half a bottle prosecco and a curry. Family lunch on Sunday. Fingers crossed haven't regained too much by Monday. Will be extra good today.

Well done to those who have lost!

Not lost anything today but maintained which is fine (I’m down 2 lb from Monday which I’m fine with) so was 10.4 Sunday, I’m now 10.2 so getting their slowly!
Yesterday was porridge for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch, and steak with blue cheese mushrooms and steamed green beans. Was fucking lovely. I even resisted a takeaway... dp made me collect the bloody thing Hmm.

Was planning on a run today but weathers crap and dp is out for the weekend so going to stick to the exercise video later. Having cod with a chorizo crumb for tea and steamed veg. Can’t wait 😊.

I've been starving today.
B- Natural Yoghurt
Lunch - two eggs scrambled and half a tin of chopped tomatoes
Dinner - slimming world morrocan meatball stew with rice.

I've still 480 kcals for the rest of the day. DP has made his own pizzas from scratch and I've just had the tiniest piece because it looked so good but I'm not counting that in my intake 😂

I'm thinking about walking the dogs if the rain stops shortly so that will burn it off!

Tomorrow I wanted to take the DC to an ice cream place for a treat. But I don't know how I'm going to resist not having one!

Got weighed today 10'9!! I was 10'13 last Sunday. I've barely exercised this week which I'm a bit annoyed at myself for. But I've lost some weight! I'm over the moon. Took the DC to a nearby ice cream place for a treat and I didn't get anything except a bottle of water. DP was telling me I can have a little splurge this week because I've done so well and kept on track (apart from a few gin and slimline tonics) but I didn't want to. I kept looking at the ice creams thinking it's not worth getting fat for.

Today I've eaten a banana and natural yoghurt for breakfast, had a little bit of water thin ham for lunch and a peach. According to MFP I have 1100 cals left but I don't intend to use them all if I can help it. Dinner is some lamb mince that I'll add chopped tomatoes and cumin etc to with rice and Mediterranean veg.

Ive only lost 1.5lbs but I am happy with that as I have made compromises but still enjoyed the foods I wanted and the odd cider too. I have been occasionally hungry, but I haven't really denied myself food. I have stuck to about 1500 calories on average and exercised more.
I need changes I can stick to so cutting everything out is not the way forward.

This weekend has been a write off, because of several family birthdays & meals out, including wine, obvs. I'm back on it now though. 10st 3.8 this morning.

I weighed myself yesterday and had lost 1.5 lbs. I'm not getting back in tomorrow in case it was a fluke 😂
Today has not been my best day. I feel so tired too.

I’ve been sticking to low carb and IF religiously and really didn’t think I was losing weight as quickly as I usually do.
Just weighed myself this morning and the first reading was 124.9 which would have meant a 6lb loss since yesterday Confused so I got back on and it showed 129.2 so I really don’t think they’re reliable anymore!

Am I too late to join? Put on just over half a stone in lockdown and started calorie counting again yesterday. I can’t exercise at the moment due to an injury which I think has contributed to the weight gain, as well as eating crap and drinking more alcohol! Currently 10 stone 2 and normally 9 stone 7!

Still 10st 3. No movement. (The scales that is, not me! I've been moving. Although apparently not enough to shift any weight.)

Did you start before this thread? Could your body need some carbs for a day before going low carb again to kick start your metabolism?
Or maybe you aren't eating enough?

I got back on today and am still down the 1.5lbs shown the other day so very pleased.

@Teacher12345 I'm not too down about it, I haven't been particularly strict lately - there has been a load of family birthdays in the last couple of weeks, so I suspect it's largely cake-related 😂 Cracking down on that now though.

Can I rejoin please? Can't get off the starting blocks. I am 9st 11 today which is the heaviest in a good while I want to be ideally 9st but I'll take 9st 5 now!

I have planned MFP and exercise for the next 2 day's! Now to stick to it 🙏

I seem to remember getting on the scale this morning and it saying 62.5 which is another 1.5 loss but I’m not sure if I was dreaming! I am shattered today and as I had apparently gained according to the same scales on Saturday, a loss today seems odd.

I have started the week pretty well. Yesterday..

20m HIIT
B - 2 boiled eggs 1 slice toast
L - spicy chicken salad and coleslaw. Freddo and coffee.
3km run
T - chorizo, mushrooms, tomatoes
, quinoa and broccoli.
S - 1/2 bueno

Lots of water, tea and decaf coffee

Need to substitute my chocolate sweet cravings for something else!
