I had success with weight loss via a thread in January, but things have slipped a bit and I want to get down half a stone. Anyone in!?
I’ll be calorie counting.

If not I’ll just talk into the void; helps me to feel accountable..!

Weighed in at 10.10!!! What the heck.. I'm floored by this. In Feb I was 9.4 😳 god help me!!
You can do this!

My biggest issue during lockdown has been far too much alcohol. I'm going to try to reduce my intake massively

Well yesterday 1395 calories - but 13000 steps .... so over my 1200 ideal intake but still loads less than I would normally eat!!

Day two and trying to stay positive xx

Day 2 here. I really can't face another two litres of water again! I feel tired and groggy too. Going to attempt a jog later on if I can muster up the energy.

Day 2 for me and put on 2lb already Blush I know that’s probably just all the water and a poo as I was strictly low carb and IF yesterday, just so disheartening to see on the scales!

I think ditching the wine will help me loads. I now plan to only have a drink on a weekend. And that's if I really fancy one. Lockdown has turned me into a wine guzzler at the end of the day.

You need to stop weighing yourself so often. I can get on the scales twice, 5 mins apart, and get different readings. Once a week weighing or every 4 days if you need extra motivation!

I weighed myself last Wednesday and weighed 10 stone 3. I've been sticking to 1200 calories and lots of water though so hoping for the best tomorrow morning! Could I join this thread seems really motivational!

According to My fitness pal I would be 10'5 in 5 weeks if I carry on the way I am.

DP in his wisdom came home with a bottle of gin earlier. I have enough cals left to have one but I'm trying to avoid it.

Starts weight 10 st 3 - weighed this morning and have lost 5lb in my first week😮 9 stone 12 today!

My fitness Pal said if I carried on the way I was this week I'd be 9 stone 13 in 5 weeks so don't be disheartened by their predictions!

@LadyMuck111 my dh suggested a gin and he had a beer. I do think gin/vodka is better than wine...probably hopeful thinking!!! But I had a small one anyway but I did have some left over cals so its ok

So I’ve had a mixed time. Difficult day yesterday and I went slightly over. I also put a new battery in my scales, which I thought were weighing light, and I’m actually a pound heavier than I thought 😂

Oh well! Onwards and upwards today. Cup of tea and a banana so far, then sourdough pizza for lunch and spag bol for dinner. Hopefully...!

I’m one of those people who needs to weigh every day 🙈

I'm also on a mission to lose half a stone (well ideally a bit more but I'll start there)

I used to be very slim and think I just got lulled into thinking that I could eat whatever I wanted, plus lockdown boredom. I'm 5 foot 3 and ideal weight is 8.6 stone. I weighed myself yesterday and I'm 9.2, (although one day earlier I was 8.13 so not sure what's going on)

Aiming for 1250 calories a day, 1500 if I walk over 10,000 steps.

I find it easier to hold off eating until as long as possible, but know that doesn't suit a lot of people. Just need to stop eating chocolate and cheese in the evenings!

Today I had plain yoghurt and blueberries for breakfast
Lunch was tomato, pepper and onion omelette
Dinner is sirloin steak, rice and veggies.

I have just over 100kcals left for the day

Last night I buckled and had gin and slimline tonic. I didn't particularly enjoy it though (unusual for me) and I was mad at myself for having some

Yesterday was an embarrassment. Should not have bought bags of crisps.... they were tasty... all 3 bags Blush.

By some minor Miricle I had slightly lost, today was much better. Roughly 1300 cals consumed and roughly 20k steps (measured on iPhone, which isn’t massively accurate) which included a 7k run. Had porridge for breakfast, chicken stirfry for dinner (no noodles). Then salmon and green beans and peas for tea. Snacks: bag of crisps and a cheese string. Plenty of water and 3 cups of coffee.

10.6 this morning and I was out at 7am for my training session. Feeling quite motivated ..! Would be happy to be back in the 9 stone bracket so trying to stay focused.

I’m going to jump on this train if you don’t mind - I need some accountability.
My skirt is too tight!
I want to lose about half a stone, then another couple of pounds. Will weigh myself tomorrow morning.
I don’t like diets, so I think I’ll try cutting down to one treat a day and upping my exercise, starting tomorrow (already eaten a bag of crisps and two biscuits today- whoops!)

After a good start I’m really struggling :(
So gutted to have put the weight that I lost back on, and I’m just feeling like a failure! Bit down at the moment too, and all I want is a nice bit of cake to cheer me up.

Oh well, tomorrow’s another day!

So today I've had
Breakfast natural Yogurt and banana
Lunch 3oz of wafer thin chicken, tomatoes and a hard boiled egg
Dinner Turkey mince curry and rice

I've been weighing all my portions and putting it in on MFP. Today I still have 480kcals left!

This morning I got dressed and a pair a knickers that usually roll over at the top on the elastic sit perfecting. My jeans are already definitely a bit looser and I was 2lb lighter than I was on Sunday. I have indulged in a couple of Gins and slimline tonics because I've had spare calories at the end of the day. I'm pretty pleased so far and definitely think weighing out my portions is the way forward.

Sorry to hear you're struggling, @FancyARoot. You know cake won't actually make anything better, don't you? It might give you a moment of pleasure, but then you'll feel even worse for having given in.

I managed to resist the lure of the wine tonight, and am just on my way to bed. Bedtime has been far too late, for a long time now. Fed up of waking up groggy and still tired. Night all.

@Cantbutwill well done on loosing 2 stone so far!

Yesterday I was in about 1500 cals, Had a wrap for my dinner. I always think they should be low cal, but I think it was just under 200 for a wholemeal wrap Hmm, but lost a tiny bit when I weighed this morning so happy with that.

@Flynn999 Thank you! This last 7lbs will be the hardest I reckon! By some miracle I lost 0.2Lbs this morn after a bit of a binge yesterday. Feeling motivated again today though.
