Hello Slimming World members!

I'm starting a new thread here as nobody has been posting on our old one(s) for a couple of days. Just wondering how everyone is doing (and if there are any new MNers out there who are also SW members--welcome!)
I've been a member since 15 June and am now just one teensy weensy pound away from my very first stone award. But at times it has been an uphill struggle so it's been great to share my journey with everyone here. Would love to hear from everyone else.

christie. I have so relaxed myself already for xmas. Have got to be so careful though as it is so easy to put the weight on quickly.

Yeah, someone in our group put on 9lbs this week (I'm not sure who it was, probably our un-motivated Consultant herself!)

Arabica. we have a lady in our group who has good weight losses but I am sure that she loses the weight far too quickly. She lost 9lb two weeks ago and at this weeks weigh in she put on 7lb!

So what's your biggest ever weight loss in one week then? I managed 6lbs but usually it's just 1lb (not that i am complaining, 1lb is fine!)

I lost 4lb one week - I think it was about the 4th or 5th week after I started.

Christie that's fantastic newswell done! I know exactly how you feel because I also got into a size smaller than usual yesterday. I'm so happythey're only Per Una black cords but they're SKINNY ARSE black cords! BTW if Per Una sizes are notoriously generous don't tell me!

Arabica, it doesn't matter if they're generous sized or not (and I haven't a clue if they are or not)As Christie says as long as you look good and feel good that all that matters!!!
Won't tell you what size of dress I've just had to buy - It'll only depress me! I've been awful recently but will definately get back on track after Christmas and New Year - That's a promise. You guys are doing great though - keep it up!!!

Thanks for kind words re my new cords! Although at times it's been a struggle to keep out of the fridge, I was really pleased with my willpower today--went to a MN xmas meet-up and managed to keep out of the biscuit tin AND the chocolate supply. (saving syns for tomorrow night, big night out).

Hey well done you guys. It's lovely feeling isn't it. I was in a size 20 creeping into a 22 when I started in May and I bought a pair of 14 trousers last month (I am sure the label was wrong!!) it was so nice. Mind you the way I am eating at the moment I will have to start wearing my old stuff again. I just can't stop eating - and all the wrong stuff too! I know come Jan 1st my motivation will have returned.

PLEASE HELP

just went out for lunch .. pissa express and I ordered a Salad Nicoise (no olives) as I thought it would be safe on a Red day and I'd just have to count the dressing .. but I just went to syns online and it said 36.5 syns .. that CAN'T be right can it?

it was lettuce, cherry tomatoes, tuna, egg, 2 new potatoes, capers, anchovies and the salad drinking (I didn't touch the dough bread)

oh god .. can it be right? I've been being so so good

Hi H&T. Aren't you good? If I go to a pizza restaurant I have the pizza and everything. You have such willpower. Salad dressings can be nasty things when it comes to counting syns. Even if they were high I wouldn't worry too much - remember those FLEXI syns!! It could have been worse you could have had the salad, dressing and lots of pizza too. But you didn't. You went for a lovely meal and enjoyed. Just get back on track as of now. You'll be just fine.

That's the point though sparkler .. I didn't particularly enjoy it .. I would've preferred to eat the pizza .. there's no way I chomped over the odds on syns .. I just can't believe that
