Hungry today

OP posts:
ememem84 · 03/09/2020 14:59

I’m not hungry. I’ve had toast. And then some soup. Dm is coming over apparently and is bringing cake.

Not2bObvious · 03/09/2020 19:29

Whoops, went over a bit. Did over 16,000 steps though so at worst ate to maintenance

SnugglySnerd · 03/09/2020 19:51

Got my steps in today. Reasonably good day with food again although I did have a KitKat (just a 2 finger one).

ememem84 · 03/09/2020 20:16

9050 steps.

Dinner was pin.it/3jde23I

Sesame chickpea. So yum.

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/09/2020 20:31

11300 steps but fit bit on ankle and been painting walls. Knackered now

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/09/2020 20:31

63 left, protein over, fibre under, will leave it there

Not2bObvious · 03/09/2020 20:45

That looks really nice em, have a tin of chickpeas that might get an outing soon😉

Welcome Mrs

Some of us calories count, some IF, some slimming world.

All of us post for accountability and support. Good and bad

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/09/2020 06:58

Down today, no steps as broken fit bit

Not2bObvious · 04/09/2020 09:12

No chance you could stick the body of the garmin in your bra life? I did that with my Fitbit and it worked well til my new strap came.
My slight indulgence last night resulted in big spike, so I'm recording yesterday's 163 as this weeks weight. I had been steadily dropping 164.6, 164.4, 164, 163 so no bloody way am I putting in 165.2! Get to feck as we say. Especially considering my week of steps and absolute angelic eating.
Welcome mrs, we're a mix of methods here. I calorie count, sometimes taking notice of macros. Best advice I could give is to use some sort of food diary, a notebook if MyFitnessPal isn't your thing, being aware of what/how much you're eating is a great help. If you don't know why you're gaining, you can't fix it

The 2lb I lost the other week seems to have stuck so yay. Still need another 6.5 to get to my lowest lockdown weight and then I can start working further down from there.

I've developed a thing for biscuits. I don't even really like sweet stuff so not sure where this has come from.

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/09/2020 10:58

I could but didn't think about that doh

ememem84 · 04/09/2020 11:37

Oh biscuits. They’re my nemesis.

ememem84 · 04/09/2020 12:47

Dm is making lunch for the kids. I’m also having a kids lunch. Frankfurter sausages. Pasta. Peas. Yum. 😂

Not2bObvious · 04/09/2020 14:22

Treated myself to a small cream slices, just under 300 cals. I've been craving one for ages so rather than let the craving go crazy, I thought I'd allow it. It was really nice but too small😩

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/09/2020 14:35

Bloody chocolate biscuits

SnugglySnerd · 04/09/2020 16:12

I think I am alone in not being too fussed about biscuits! I love cheese. Have stopped buying nice cheese, just bog standard stuff for kids/sandwiches and parmesan (well hrana padano actually as it is cheaper and veggie) for grating on stuff. If it isnt there I can't eat it!

Mrsmadevans · 04/09/2020 18:43

Thank you all for the lovely warm welcome Smile
Great tips from you Smile
Have eaten a mixed fruit salad from Boots at 4 , OMG l nearly cracked and bought sarnies in a meal deal from them but l didn't Shock , at 7 going to have a huge Tuna salad and l mean huge ! I have run out of Scan Bran which are my staple when l am dieting so l will eat 5 Cracker bread with wholegrain in for 100 cals . Great tip re the writing what l have eaten down , l can never remember thank you , l may have a snack before bed but l may not need it , l have not eaten many cals today yet but l have milk in tea and coffee so that will be 200 cals every day if not more Smile

Mrsmadevans · 04/09/2020 18:45

Oh while l am thinking about it , does anyone please know where l can get Scan Bran from , l have looked on Holland & Barrett and Amazon where l normally get some from but to no avail Hmm Smile

ememem84 · 04/09/2020 22:30

14309 steps. Went for a walk with Dfriend

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/09/2020 06:30

Pizza spike today. N more enough to drink as ran out of squash. Really don't like just water

Mrsmadevans · 05/09/2020 08:55

Been very good fingers crossed 😁
Looking forward to tea tonight , think another nice big salad with some steak perhaps.
I have found intermittent fasting to be a good method for me so far . I find if l don't eat l don't crave , once l eat l am like a nutcase then , strange that 🙄
Have a great abstinent day everyone 😄
