I had some nuts and raisins. It helped a bit. Nap helped though.

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/06/2020 18:11

I'm going to start a nutrition group with my gym from next week. Or it might be 4 July. Need to mix it up a bit.

ememem84 · 27/06/2020 19:34

Mr trainer keeps trying to get me to sign up to her nutrition programme. But it’s £500
For 6 weeks.

Just meal plans. No actual food. So I keep declining.

ememem84 · 27/06/2020 19:35

Chicken potato and spinach curry with pea rice for dinner.

Also a huge glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon blanc. It’s one of my faves.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 27/06/2020 19:55

Wow em, that's a huge amount of money, I would decline too!

WreckTangled · 27/06/2020 20:07

Em I'll do you one for half that Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/06/2020 20:37

I'm paying £20 first month then £12 per month after that. It's £20 and £16 for non gym members.

£500 she's having your eyes out

ememem84 · 27/06/2020 21:04

Isn’t it?! I mean if it included the food and gym sessions I’d be all over it. But it doesn’t. So nah.

Also my diet generally isn’t that bad. It’s the snacks. This is where I’ve struggled. Because we tried to keep ds on a nursery routine we included morning and afternoon snacks. And they were usually biscuits or cake. And I had them too. Plus pudding after lunch and dinner.

WreckTangled · 27/06/2020 21:10

I think we have an awful snacking culture, and I say that as someone who struggles with not snacking. I think NHS guidelines encourage over eating from a young age. My course I am doing suggested a bagel with cream cheese and an apple as a mid morning snack for a 5 year old that's practically a full lunch! My dc are obsessed with snacks too. I do think young children need snacks but adults not so much.

I'm just over 800 calories today. Not going to eat anything else although I want to eat the whole kitchen.

ChristmasSeacow · 27/06/2020 21:22

Lost 8lb in first two weeks. I’m quite pleased with that, although my sister lost 11lb Angry.

I’ve not had the best day today, in terms of timings and planning my food. Had scrambled eggs and bacon for brunch (at 2pm!) and am about to have a ploughman’s, without bread but still pretty good. Due to lack of planning and time I succumbed to a slice of toast with my eggs today, which was a bit of a waste of calories and too much carb really. But it’s done now, onwards!

Got PILs coming tomorrow and I don’t want to talk diet with them so I’m going to eat with them and so not really stuck to plan. We’re having an informal Lunch to the garden (at a distance!) so I’m doing a chilli prawn pasta with sun dried tomato paste and rocket (Jamie O I think). I’ll eat it even though it’s pasta. And I’ll do crostini with a few toppings for an informal starter, which I’ll dodge because I’ll be cooking the main Wink. Pudding is hm Bakewell tart, which I’ll dodge because I don’t like it! Ha ha!

I don’t want to talk diet with MIL because I feel her judgement about my weight, even though she’s too polite to say anything to me though she openly criticises DH’s weight and he’s nowhere near as overweight as me

ememem84 · 27/06/2020 21:27

We do have a huge snack culture.

The dc at nursery have a morning and afternoon snack. But it’s either fruit or veggies. The occasional cake or milkshake or something fun.

WreckTangled · 27/06/2020 21:29

Sea that's an amazing weight loss.

I wish I could eat anything I like and be a size 8. I know a few people like it but certainly not the majority of people I suppose.

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/06/2020 21:40

That's a great start sea. Can you make that meal your main calories for the day. Will the carbs make you more hungry?

Snaccidents are the issue here to. Grazing rather than proper meals

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/06/2020 07:43

Up. A-sod
Won't be an on plan day as got NT tickets do pic nic for one meal

ememem84 · 28/06/2020 08:47

wreck I used to be one of those people. Then I got older had babies etc.

Sourdough toast and tea for breakfast.

WreckTangled · 28/06/2020 09:55

Pilates done. I did a very beginners one which, although very slow and easy, was good to get a good stretch on my top thighs and lower back.

WreckTangled · 28/06/2020 10:47

Em I used to be like that too 😭

Happierwithouthim · 28/06/2020 12:05

I was one of those people until I went on the pill! I'm sensitive to oestrogen but it was years before I made the connection.

Yesterday finished up with a chicken fillet burger but didn't get anything else with it so it's grand I was within calories I'd imagine.
Visited bfs sisters house and drank water all night.

Only getting up now so it'll be two meals rather than 3 today.

I'm not sure if I said it here but I bought 3 months revive active and symprove at the weekend, lots of stressful stuff in my life so investing €300 to cover the next three months of my health is worthwhile I think.

That's crazy money em
Huge snack for a child wreck that would be a lunch to me.

I've a good grocery shop done, I'll have an on track week.

ememem84 · 28/06/2020 12:06

Ah yes. Hormonal birth control too. That’s a massive factor.

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/06/2020 12:27

Defo worth it happier

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/06/2020 12:27

I've never been a size 8 until last year. I'm not that person

Happierwithouthim · 28/06/2020 14:38

Scrambled egg on toast today so far

Yep life Wink

Happierwithouthim · 28/06/2020 14:38

@lifelongfrugaleer

I've never been a size 8 until last year. I'm not that person
But you did it!
WreckTangled · 28/06/2020 16:23

I had a raspberry magnum today. And a bit of chocolate. Should stay below 1000 though, higher than the 800 I was aiming for but still absolutely fine.

Happierwithouthim · 28/06/2020 17:37

Bf's dm didn't realise I don't eat potatoes so I'd a roast beef dinner literally just roast beef!! Was lovely to have it served up to me!!
