I find the ones lying on your side the hardest. I've got bilateral hip dysplasia so I know it'll be good for them (physio has advised it) but it's so painful. I do stop when it hurts to much and I know it's because they need strengthening so it'll be worth it.

Not Pilates requires less balance and is faster than yoga in my limited experience.

Not2bObvious · 01/07/2020 11:21

Does faster make it less boring? Might give it a go

I think so. I've been doing one by trifecta Pilates on YouTube. I'm on a mission to get my hands flat on the ground when touching my toes Grin can almost get full fingers down.

Happierwithouthim · 01/07/2020 13:18

Restart sounds good.
This is my week off pill & I just ate all around me last two evenings - carb bloat alert. Days were fine just night time
I'm walking strangely today after beach fit mon night, I didn't enjoy so not going back.
Think long walk around cliff will be this evenings exercise.

Diet Coke good for cals but not so good for your health Grin

Salad sounds lovely not
I'm having watermelon & pineapple with my lunch today. Getting fruit & veg box is definitely a help for me.

Think dinner will be salmon/boiled carrots/broccoli and rice today or maybe chips in air fryer

ememem84 · 01/07/2020 13:55

I’m doing yoga later tonight.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/07/2020 14:34

I prefer pilates to yoga. .
Not much walking being done here but eating fairly under control

Wolfcub · 01/07/2020 15:52

I prefer yoga from an enjoyment but Pilates is more effective

ememem84 · 01/07/2020 16:18

Currently on 6233 steps.

Food today:

Porridge.
2x flat whites
Sandwich and lentil crisps
Diet Coke.

Being away from the house and being unable to snack is amazing.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/07/2020 16:58

284 over and only on 7500 steps. Think I over did it yesterday

Not2bObvious · 01/07/2020 18:05

Just over 1000 cals here, a busy running around day with no snacking either. Nearly 11,000 steps so 4,000 to go, ugh.
Bloody miserable here. Hasn’t stopped raining for hours

Hi all
Today's food has been good.
B- yogurt, frozen berries with chia seeds and a coffee.
S- 2 corn cakes
L- 'cheese' and onion sandwich on wholemeal bread, cucumber, carrot, red pepper and a banana.
S- apple
D- wholegrain rice and quinoa, 'chicken', broccoli, carrots and green beans.
Drank loads of water today.
Went for a jog, run 3 of wk6 on c25k, jogged continuously for 25 minutes, thought I was gonna die at one point!
Steps 25859

Not, love the idea of a new start, definitely need it!

I was looking at Trishas transformation on Instagram earlier, I think she is brilliant. I was looking at an old post and something she said really struck a cord with me, it was: "If it is to be, it is up to me". So I'm going to say that everytime I'm having a wobble.

Not2bObvious · 01/07/2020 21:29

Sounds like an excellent day curvy, 25 minutes running is far from easy. Your food sounds delicious & nutritious.
I’m on 1600, around 450 of that was chocolate & crisps, will try harder tomorrow. Main thing is my calories & steps are good, scurvy hasn’t set in yet😬

And that is a great saying - love it

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 01/07/2020 22:25

Thanks Not, I don't know about running,I was definitely jogging!

I forgot to do my calories, 1,226, so I'm happy with that.
Just have to keep at it.

I'm so tired, see you all tomorrow.

ememem84 · 01/07/2020 22:27

Veggie pasta for dinner. I’ve drunk 3.5l water and did yoga class.

Over 10.000’steps at the end of the day.

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/07/2020 07:06

Salt spike today so I'm not recording it. I need pilates class to stretch and de tension so this afternoon. Wet and horrible here

Not2bObvious · 02/07/2020 09:37

It’s actually dry here for the first time this week, did a 6-7.15 brisk walk plus a quick potter to the shops at 8, over 13,000 steps already. Chained to the laptop now. Cleaned out my baking press (Irish for cupboard😬) Holy shit, vanilla essence that bigger child likes to use and red food colouring, didn’t bother to fix lids back on so nicely mixed to create what could only be described as pink glue. Wagon.

Pilates done. Yesterday wasn't great as my sugar level was low all day but woke up with a good level this morning which always helps. I'm going to have halloumi salad for lunch and Bolognese with roast cauli for dinner.

Happierwithouthim · 02/07/2020 13:24

Not nightmare Angry in rental we've a ladder press, think old walls thickness, deep press. Everything is in the press. It's very handy when children want something where is x, it's in the press, where's y, it's in the press.

I succumbed to this beautiful cake of sourdough last night

My mother sent me this

*Larder

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/07/2020 18:12

12600 steps. Got 250 ish calories left and protein and fiber hit. Will see if I feel hungry later or not.

Nice bread

Not2bObvious · 02/07/2020 18:24

Nearly 17,000 steps, having a wine and crisps in the garden since it’s not raining for once!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 02/07/2020 18:34

My steps are too low to say. I did Pilates but haven been WFH and watching Netflix I've eaten well though really low calorie today to make up for all the shit days Grin feeling bloated though for some reason.

Happier the fork wouldn't stop me I would just use my hands Grin

Not2bObvious · 02/07/2020 19:26

Today is most definitely a maintenance day not a diet day. Chocolate biccies & tea, at least I’ve stopped drinking wine so that’s something
