Howdy Carbers .
I'm with you in spirit if not abstention (is that actually a word or have I invented a new one in my delirium? ).

Freshly painted wagon... check
Reinforced suspension... check
Positioned outside Last Carb Saloon... check

I just can't do low carb again, after losing a stone on Atkins last year. The cakes in Sainsbury's seem to be calling my name...

oggsfrog · 20/09/2007 23:38

reinforced cage at back of wagon awaiting Spin.... check

Lyra!

I know, I know, I know, did you read about my Speed Carbing World Record? [shame]

we've all got a tummy bug in our house, lots of being sick in the night going on. have just eaten a bit of greek yoghurt with linseeds and half a dozen blueberries as thought I should try to eat something and it sure as hell wasn't going to be bacon

am thinking about attempting that 3 day stillman thing, then going back on induction and had planned to start tommorrow. really want to be another 10lbs down by end october.

Katisha · 21/09/2007 17:18

DCs and DH have that very bug here. I am tough though. (Touching wood...)
Feeling knackered what with being up in night though and hence getting through rather too much cheese...

it was divine.

just done an internet shop for back to hardcore induction eating from Monday. wish me luck

btw does anyone know offhand if soya milk/tofu is ok for induction or do i have to quash my veggie tendiencies entirely?

Right. I have joined a health club and they are going to give me the gym induction on Friday. Eeeeek!!!

I have resisted the idea of exercise for years and years but suspect it's the only way to get the weight down as diet alone certainly is NOT doing it.

Have bought some trainers and so all I have to do now is actually turn up. You will need to nag me. A lot.

good for you katisha

i used to be a proper old gym-a-holic, and it was soo good for my mind as well as my body. but this was befvre i met dh, descended into a life of eating and drinking and got up the stick.

they reckon if you can go for 6 weeks you will a. notice a bit difference to your shape and fitness and b. have formed a habit, and keep going.

i think yesterday was relatively successful
leftover meatballs for breakfast
green bean feta and pine nut salad for lunch
snack of potted shrimps - v retro but v nice
scallops for supper

have just had bacon for breakfast. going to try to be hardcore today.

ps sally those muffins sound good, how do you make them?
