Apologies for the terrible title but I wanted to encapsulate the boss and how supportive everyone is.

Hey @fallfallfall I hope that you had a nice meal. I can get away with eating quite a lot as long as it's roughly 80/20 on the right side.

Ah well @Galvantula I think we're all guilty of that when we just don't want to know.

Weird one today. I was up early with DS, we were in the park by 9 for an hour and then came and did cleaning (DH was sorting stuff, both kids did a chore) and then I was making a picnic and we went to a NT property. Windy, but sunny. Ds was in a right mood though because there was a sign not to use the wooden stepping stones etc and that's the best bit. Can understand it, but for the first time since March, he's played in 2 parks in 2 days so I felt quite cross... ah well, I've come back and consoled myself in sugar Blush

House more or less straight, easy tea of full English components for everyone according to their liking and omelette for me.

B: strawberries, plain yogurt, granola, nuts
L: GF crackers, salami, cheese, cucumber, carrots, hummus, falafel and a stray sausage roll because I didn't want it going to waste
S: raspberry bakewell, chocolate squares and popcorn Blush
T: omelette with mushroom and bacon

Hope everyone else is OK x

fallfallfall · 05/07/2020 15:44

mrsjones, it’s not yet 0800am, I start making supper at or after 1500 😊. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
What’s wrong with two parks in two days?
Our raspberries are just starting to ripen. My youngest and the gf will be able to pick some.

MrsJonesAndMe · 05/07/2020 15:51

Ah, totally confused by the time difference Wink

Well quite, you'd think he'd be happy, but instead moaned that the 3rd place we visited over the weekend didn't have anywhere to play. Confused

fallfallfall · 06/07/2020 02:15

OHHHHH MYYYYY supper was sooooooo good!!
the cauli rice with MINT, and believe me, what i believe to have been a huge amount of mint was so tasty. the beef was amazing as well. i would serve it again and i would serve it to company. even some of the cauliflower leaves were in this. almost no calories in the cauliflower as it's steamed in the microwave. now 330 calories per serving is a bit low, if i did it again i'd cube up and add in some yam or squash partially for the orange color and partially because a meal of only one veggie seems unbalanced.

Foreverlexicon · 06/07/2020 10:25

I slipped off the wagon as I had a really down feel days and there has been major chocolate binging.

Back on the wagon today. I’m not going to weigh until next week Tuesday as it will depress me frankly.

However; horse competitions are kicking off again and I’ve entered a couple of things which has made me feel lots better - starting to get some of my life back which is nice as currently my life seems to revolve around waiting for my gf’s next visit and then my mood crashes massively when she leaves and it’s not a healthy or pleasant way to live.

Today I’m going to do a Jillian Michaels dvd (an easy one to ease myself back in, feel a bit rough from my sugar consumption!), ride the horse and start stripping wallpaper out the bedroom.

Hope everyone has a good day!

fallfallfall · 06/07/2020 14:51

forever sounds like a good plan.

MrsJonesAndMe · 06/07/2020 20:13

Sounds lovely @fallfallfall We had a lovely BBQ tonight though the weather is iffy here!

Oh @Foreverlexicon try not to beat yourself up. Sounds like a good idea to keep busy and extend your life a bit. What are you putting up in the bedroom nosy

I've had 2x 7 hour eating windows (yesterday and today)

B: coconut macaroon
L: jacket with mayo, ham and cheese
S: choc Blush
D: BBQ chicken, cucumber, feta, coleslaw, new potatoes & falafels that were about to go out of date.

Gentle yoga - needed after yesterday's more energetic exercise and today's fairly stressful day.

Hope everyone else is OK.

Foreverlexicon · 06/07/2020 23:23

@MrsJonesAndMe I’ve barely worked since April due to a combo of being off on reserve during the initial lockdown then sick leave so I started decorating.
So far the whole downstairs has been painted and refurnished, tiled bathroom and kitchen floor, new units in the kitchen. Now stripping the wallpaper out the bedroom and painting it ready for a new carpet in the next couple of weeks. It’s been a fair bit of work but kept me busy and I’ve gone from feeling I’ve outgrown my little house to loving it again which is nice.

Very glad to expand my life again! It’s not a healthy way to live but without working, not
being able to see my friends or do any hobbies, I seem to of fallen into this pattern. I’m camping with the gf for a few days end of this week and then I won’t see her for a month or so as she wants to go on a few weeks hiking trip to clear her head and come to terms with her grief but with horse stuff kicking off, I’ve got a few competitions planned and hoping to go back to work in 12 days so I tentatively think things are looking up!

I’m a bit low on calories today as I ate so much yesterday I just wasn’t very hungry.
B - yogurt with berries, banana and granola
S - Malted milk biscuit
D - need casserole with dumplings and veg
S - mini kitkat chunky and 2 choc biscuits
Comes to 1300 calories
E - 20 min kick box video and rode the horse

fallfallfall · 07/07/2020 06:04

Amazing skill set forever! Tile envy, wish I could do that stuff!!

MrsJonesAndMe · 07/07/2020 06:09

I'm in awe. I've not a DIY bone in my body! (Nor camping) Wink

Up early again so shattered before the day even starts! Will aim to keep it together as best I can. Weather looks a bit better than yesterday.

Plan:
B: yogurt, berries, granola with nuts
L: jacket & salad
S: pineapple
T: Cold cuts and salads

I'm sure chocolate will feature somewhere!

Foreverlexicon · 07/07/2020 06:51

I would love to claim credit for the tiling but a couple of friends and the gf deserve it more than me! I did eventually do most of the kitchen but I spent about a day and a half flapping and being delegated to tea making duties whilst the others worked out how to unplumb the toilet and cut tiles Blush painting I can do though!

I hopped on the scales after all and I’m only up 1.6lb which is a relief. Just having coffee then will go for a run.

MrsJonesAndMe · 07/07/2020 15:16

Ah well, that's nice to have help.

I have fallen face first into some chocolate, but otherwise not too bad. Still staying away from Coke, bread, pasta and cake.

Hope you're OK @SunshineCake! How is the running going? and @RubySlippers77 did you do your next one? Is this week 5 for you now?

SunshineCake · 07/07/2020 17:29

Hello everyone

How have I not posted since Thursday and it took too long for anyone to notice ?!? Grin. No clue what happened.

I completed my couch to 5K and I am running every other day. DH has bought me a second set of running gear as my old set is too big so now it isn't such a pressure to get it washed. I dropped a few pounds then went up one and a half but can't think straight. I really thought I would be down today as the last couple of days I have had a lot of salad, veg and fruit and I was upset to be up this morning. It will be fine and I am getting fitter with the running. I walked the dog for two hours this morning and fifty minutes this afternoon and haven't sat down all day. My step total is currently 13713. It also says calories burnt 1471, activity 577 but I have no clue if that is accurate.

Emotionally feeling a bit fragile but don't really know why and I have also been really tired in the afternoon these last couple of days and usually fall asleep watching tv around 9pm.

Still recovering from whatever was wrong in March but I will keep running and walking my best friend.

Hope everyone is well. We seem to have lost a few.

Well done on the DIY *@Foreverlexicon and the weight gain doesn't count as I have done the same.

Face first into chocolate also doesn't count, *@MrsJonesAndMe as you are avoiding much worse things.

everything is in order here. the house is tidy, the dogs (rusty is yet to be seen but will be) tidy, i've done my video fitness and the furniture is back in it's usual place.
meals planned. today i have tabouli salad featuring mint and parsley from my garden. i have hummus and other veggies. fresh bread right out of the oven :). my youngest is a crunchy hippy when it comes to food, so presume April must be as well.
supper will be a huge tenderloin bbq steak, baked potato and a fairly fancy salad that is very popular when i serve it up. ice cream for desert (to make affogatto).
so nothing disastrous at this point.

MrsJonesAndMe · 07/07/2020 19:56

Wow @SunshineCake don't overdo it. I had noticed you didn't post, but I also don't want people to feel pressured, so don't tag everyone every time if they haven't been on.

Sounds delicious @fallfallfall

Well, i did end up eating a small bit of fresh bread in the end, but the rest of it was ham, chicken and salad. Did a HIIT workout and a yoga stretch and a quick walk this morning to the park and back.

Take care all!

fallfallfall · 07/07/2020 20:11

i too missed you sunshine figured you were busy :).
impressive numbers!!

SunshineCake · 07/07/2020 20:43

I am just in disbelief it was so long since I posted. I know the days feel like they are going quicker but I thought I had only missed a couple of days or maybe three.

I have been really tired in the afternoons and had a covid test yesterday which was negative. I thought it would be and think I just feel crap as I am still recovering. I'm fifteen weeks in and still not fully better.

Gosh, have you seen that they launched a support thing for long term sufferers? might be worth a look.

Sleep well x

SunshineCake · 07/07/2020 21:52

I haven't seen anything for support.

Not up and running yet, but may be useful for you

Foreverlexicon · 08/07/2020 07:41

@fallfallfall wow your food sounds delicious!

Good day yesterday
B - yogurt, berries and granola
L - salad with sweet potato, black beans and sweetcorn in an avocado sauce
S - grapes and peaches
D - pasta with salad and garlic bread
S - chocolate biscuits
E - ran 6k and rode the horse

Need to go do some shopping ready for camping today and will do a Jillian Michaels plus ride the horse.

Have a good day everyone

MrsJonesAndMe · 08/07/2020 08:39

Hope the weather picks up @Foreverlexicon - wet here!

I am indeed 2lbs down on Weigh in Wednesday. Happy with that. 6-7 to go but I guess every bit helps.

SunshineCake · 08/07/2020 11:00

Thanks for the link *@MrsJonesAndMe**. I will have a look later on.

I've been running and walked the dog. Very confused as one app said I ran 4.7 km but the other says 5.9km. I definitely rain further than my usual route. I'm also down weight wise so happy about that.

Making Borlotti bean and potato curry for dinner and lunch will be crackers and houmous. I'm also going to make a fruit smoothie.

Excellent exercise *@Foreverlexicon and your food sounds lovely.

*@MrsJonesAndMe** well done on the weight loss. 2lb is fabulous!

MrsJonesAndMe · 08/07/2020 15:31

Hey all, I'm done in! Counting down to the 17th when I finish work for 10 days and of course no school then either.

Food was a bit weird today:
B: yogurt, granola, strawberries
L: jacket & pineapple slices (eaten at 11:30 before our planned trip out)
S: really hungry by out return, so 2 squares of 70% Lindt, coconut macaroon, GF cracker with cheese and 2 slices of salami
T: curry (chicken) with rice & spinach

Weird that you got different readings @SunshineCake but you're doing very well regardless!

Hope you're all keeping dry - been very wet to just drizzly here!

SunshineCake · 08/07/2020 22:21

Dh doesn't know why the distances were different and doesn't believe the extra bit would make it up to six k. I'm fed up. He is being an arse and isn't helping. I've suggested he run the route and see what his phone thinks it is.
