Welcome founding & new members alike. Jump on board the WoW wagon if you want to be slimmer, healthier, happier and more energetic! You've certainly come to the right place! These threads have been going for sometime now and seem well received. The ladies who post are supportive and inspiring in equal measure. There is no shaming, competition or harsh words.

As no one size fits all members generally follow their own way of eating. Nonetheless we will offer guidance and support if required.

Me personally? I keep on it by calorie counting, logging via MFP app, Intermittent fasting, eating a low carb Mediterranean style diet and staying well hydrated. I can’t emphasise enough the importance of drinking plenty of water. There are so many enjoyable options without the need to resort to extreme measures. Whatever way you choose, it needs to be enjoyable & sustainable for the long term. This is a long term commitment rather than a quick fix. I also rarely drink alcohol and keep sugar to a minimum. I exercise by walking & swimming.

Interested? Add your name, personal goals, eating/exercise plan etc.

Wednesdays will be WoW (weigh on Wednesday)

My DTs are 4 @MrsJonesAndMe and bloody hard work - DTS2 will try/ eat nearly anything, DTS1 would live off cream crackers if he could. Sigh.

The circus classes sound lots of fun Grin

The cold is still here, I have blown my nose about 5000 times today. And I have done nothing weight-loss related - hoping to feel a bit better soon and find my motivation again!

Foreverlexicon · 11/02/2020 05:36

@WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa I did aerial silks. Unfortunately I’m not very graceful so couldnt make it look as beautiful as it can be but it’s really good fun.

I didn’t have a good day yesterday. I was good during the day but feeling low and stressed and slipped into some disordered eating behaviours in the evening.

This is going to be a stressful week so I’m just going to try and get through it the best I can.

MrsJonesAndMe · 11/02/2020 06:38

Good luck and hope you feel better soon @RubySlippers77 I feel like my nose might fall off too!

(((hugs))) @Foreverlexicon just keep going sweetheart, you can get through

SheepSocks · 11/02/2020 09:16

One of my friends is doing the circus aerial classes, she is normally quite shy and it's done wonders for her confidence. I'm proud of her!

I managed an hour in the gym last night, I was able to go up step in weight lifting for my legs. I can still feel it this morning!

fallfallfall · 11/02/2020 16:14

Full days starting at 06:25. Yesterday I clocked 40 flights of stairs and 12,000 steps.
Much fewer flights of stairs today but over 12,000 steps and it’s only 4 pm.
Food choices could be better; more water, more fruits and more veggies.
Boy oh boy this is a much busier life Wink

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 11/02/2020 16:30

Due to a lift malfunction at the car park today I had to haul my ass up to the 8th floor via the stairs. I AM NOT FIT! I'm classing that as my exercise for the day.

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 11/02/2020 18:37

Just signed up to British Heart Foundations 'Dechox' so giving up chocolate for March to raise money. Might help the waistband a little Halo

DrDiva · 11/02/2020 23:17

Today was our wedding anniversary so ate more than had planned. Not to mention drinking more...

I hope those with colds feel better soon Flowers

NorthernPowermouse · 12/02/2020 07:06

Toryssuck I genuinely couldn’t imagine giving up chocolate for a month Shock. Good luck with it.

I’ve had an ok few days, not brilliant, so I was surprised to see another 2lb off this morning. Down to 11 stone now. Unless my scales are lying to me...

Hope everyone else has satisfactory WoWs!

SunshineCake · 12/02/2020 07:23

Morning all

I've been doing more exercise, walks and especially on the bike, did over an hour over three or four sessions. Eating well low chocolate levels.

Up a pound. Could cry.

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 12/02/2020 07:34

Starting weight 233lb
Last Wednesday 230lb
Today 227lb

Sorry you're disappointed @SunshineCake a lb is still a great loss and if you've been doing lots of exercise then it could be muscle forming.

@NorthernPowermouse I know, I can easily eat 2 or 3 chocolate bars a day, which is a big reason why I am where I am. I have a wispa gold problemGrin

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 12/02/2020 07:35

Sorry @SunshineCake just reread and saw it was up not down, I have a 5 year old bouncing dolls on my head so not focusing well.

With that amount of exercise bike time I bet your legs and butt are toning and building muscle, try measuring instead of weighing to see if that shows the reduction.

Foreverlexicon · 12/02/2020 07:56

I had a better day yesterday.
B - weetabix with dried fruit and nuts
S - Cappucino
L - Waldorf salad
S - cereal bar
D - chicken curry and brown rice
S - Malteser bunny

Feel a bit better in myself but I really need this week over with. The person who helps me with my horses is away and I’m really struggling with looking after them and my shifts. On Monday they move to a stables where they get looked after for me and I can’t express how much I can’t wait! I like looking after them but it’s just too much now.

WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa · 12/02/2020 08:33

Good Morning WoWers.

Registering a massive 5lb loss this morning. I think it's a combo of stepping back to full time days and having a very limited appetite recently.

If I'm honest, I expect a gain next week to average it all out, but for now I will take it.

Lowest weight I have been in a long time, I'm finally back to making new losses after gaining what I lost in the summer with you guys.

SunshineDays1 · 12/02/2020 08:40

Morning all
SW: 95kg
CW: 92.5kg
Total weight loss this week: 1.5kg/3.3lb

I have put on and lost the same 5kg several times since last Summer, so I really hope I can break into the 80s this month.

Hope you’re all having a good day, weight loss or not.

BustedDreams · 12/02/2020 09:14

Happy Birthday @SunshineCake 🎂 < Calorie free Wink. Have a great day!

Morning Lovelies

WoW WK6

Last Week 142.8lbs
This Week 141.4lbs
Loss 1.4lbs

I’m yoyoing ... will keep on it.

Nice to see you @MrsJonesAndMe. I get on the mat most days, even if it’s just 5 minutes. I can’t quite manage to fit an hour of Yoga in every day but do so occasionally.

@TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 Good luck, keep us posted how you go on. Well done on your loss so far.

@DrDiva Happy Anniversary for yesterday!

@NorthernPowermouse great result!

@Foreverlexicon hope your horses quickly settle in to their new routine. It will take the pressure of you too!

@WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa WOW... I’ve never had a loss of 5lbs in one week! Not in a month for that matter. Well bloody done! 👍🌟🏅

@SunshineDays1 I’m the same. Up a bit, down a bit ... repeat. It’s annoying! Your trend appears downwards 👍

2 weeks left for this month (2 weigh days) so I’m really hoping to break my yo-yo trend! I want to break the 10 stone barrier PERMANENTLY! I achieved it a couple of times last year, albeit fleetingly. I need it to stick!

Have a great day all of you.

I hope your being spoilt @SunshineCake! 🎁 🍷 🍫 💐 🍰

Happy birthday @SunshineCake Flowers Don't cry over the scales!

Thanks @BustedDreams full of cold and hormones, lethal combination, but sticking around. I tend to manage 30 minutes 5 times a week, so good for me. Hope you're OK and you smash the 10stone barrier once and for all.

Some great losses WoW'ers! and no way could I do Dechox either @TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 so hat off to you!

SunshineCake · 12/02/2020 13:11

Thanks BustedDreams and good luck with the target. I can’t wait until I’m near 10 stone again but there’s a while to go for that.

Well done to everyone for trying, working hard and persevering.

Galvantula · 12/02/2020 17:49

Hi all. Im up a pound or so too this week. I think a bit of comfort eating has been creeping in. 😣

DH has made some nice soup for tomorrow though and I have a lentil chilli tonight, just need to stay away from snacks so much. 🙈

SunshineCake · 12/02/2020 19:44

I've had a lovely day thank you.

Shopping tomorrow to get ingredients for carrot and coriander soup and one other.

SheepSocks · 12/02/2020 20:26

SunshineCake · 12/02/2020 21:13
