Welcome founding & new members alike. Jump on board the WoW wagon if you want to be slimmer, healthier, happier and more energetic! You've certainly come to the right place! These threads have been going for sometime now and seem well received. The ladies who post are supportive and inspiring in equal measure. There is no shaming, competition or harsh words.

As no one size fits all members generally follow their own way of eating. Nonetheless we will offer guidance and support if required.

Me personally? I keep on it by calorie counting, logging via MFP app, Intermittent fasting, eating a low carb Mediterranean style diet and staying well hydrated. I can’t emphasise enough the importance of drinking plenty of water. There are so many enjoyable options without the need to resort to extreme measures. Whatever way you choose, it needs to be enjoyable & sustainable for the long term. This is a long term commitment rather than a quick fix. I also rarely drink alcohol and keep sugar to a minimum. I exercise by walking & swimming.

Interested? Add your name, personal goals, eating/exercise plan etc.

Wednesdays will be WoW (weigh on Wednesday)

No Asda, Morrisons, Lidl or Alid here @TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 Hmm but will get DH to brave Tesco mid week to see what is there. Nothing that's urgent really. Just a bit frustrating.

I've stuck to my 8hr window and had tea of BBQ chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, green salad and corn on the cob, so feeling fairly virtuous!

SunshineCake · 04/05/2020 18:09

I'm up again but whatever.

Been busy all day and haven't sat down apart from to eat. Would have liked a second walk with my dog but won't happen now.

Heard from BD today. She has had problems logging in. She's okay.

Just trying to meal plan now as received 23 chicken drumsticks and six breaded haddock fillets which are use by tomorrow and my freezer is full. DS will make us something for tea with the chicken and I am wondering if we get an extra day to eat it once it is cooked ? DH is selflessly going to finish off the ice cream so I can put the fish fillets into a freezer bag and squeeze them into the freezer.

SunshineCake · 04/05/2020 18:12

I'd like to buy some storage jars for my baking cupboard but don't want to pay a lot as I've over spent panic ordering food to be delivered. Can anyone recommend anywhere I can get some from please and also someone who will deliver me under bed storage boxes, plastic with lids would be great. Thank you very much.

Hi, just checking in. Glad to hear busted is OK.

Uhm, we got our storage boxes from Homebase or similar for under the bed.

I was starving by the time I went to bed last night and again on waking, but I have stuck to 8hrs. Breakfast was granola with nuts and blueberries & yogurt, lunch chicken breast & salad from the BBQ and tea chilli and rice. Snacking was pretty awful though.

Did a quick starter HIIT workout this evening and ache already Grin

Hope everyone else OK @Foreverlexicon @RubySlippers77 @fallfallfall @TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 @Galvantula

fallfallfall · 04/05/2020 21:28

mrsjones you caught me red handed with a hot crossed bun under my belt already AND a cheese biscuit on the go...i know better than this...
nachos and cheese AND avocado for lunch just a bad combination of high carb comfort foods...
today's food choices aside, i'm in good spirits. feel much stronger than i probably am and look forward to seeing the dr. in 9 days!!! i'm really hopeful he gives me permission to walk outside for short periods (hence gardening).
dh has pulled out the excess raspberry canes and i want to get the rest of my veggies in the ground.
grand daughter in the uk turned 6 today :) and i got a quick facetime before all hell broke loose on their end, and two lovely little video's.
looks like it was wonderful weather!!
i'm so looking forward to being able to monitor my food/weight/and do something even remotely physical.
fingers crossed physio is possible!!

fallfallfall · 04/05/2020 21:30

sunshine do you have a fancy cricket cutter computer thingy??
that looks very fun :)
wish i could skip a few meals....

SunshineCake · 04/05/2020 21:59

I have a die cutting machine but dh has said I can have a cricut if I want. I think I won thought as expensive and I'm happy with what I have

I'm missing breakfast to do the 12.30-8.30pm eating thing but just eating too much. I just feel hungry so much.

Lunch was home made sour dough and smoked salmon.
Snack was three squares of dark chocolate.
Dinner was veggie shepherds pie with green beans, carrots, sweet corn, winter cabbagey veg, sprouts and lentils.
Snack was ice cream, Doritos and a slice of bread ffs.

Tomorrow I will walk the dog for longer and go out twice. We had a delivery of a ridiculous amount of food and I do not need to eat it all in a day. I have to lose the same half a stone for the third time .

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 04/05/2020 22:09

No idea how good it is but I saw these in Aldi last week, Ishtar be a good cheap intro into die cutting

Die Cutting Mini Machine Starter Set for just £16.99. Check it out: www.aldi.co.uk/p/701290341808300

Galvantula · 05/05/2020 13:27

Hello all. I'm ok thanks.

I ate quite well yesterday but have just caved and got the hot pudding and custard in the work canteen 😂
It was bloody lovely comfort food though.

I weighed myself this morning and I am still at my 60kg limit so I'm going to try and rein in my weekend indulgence a little. It's so much harder to lose the weight once it's on, so I don't want to let all the effort go to waste!

I'm slowly getting to organise the house a little when we've more ", at home time". I feel like once the kids rooms are under control I might feel like I have the brain space to get back into home exercising with my weights. At the moment the clutter drivers me crazy, I seeing between obsessively trying to sort it and trying to pretend it doesn't exist ,🤣

SunshineCake · 05/05/2020 14:29

Hi all

I'm just back from my second walk with the dog. I needed it for my emotional well being. I also noticed my jeans were feeling loose I have decided to stop stressing, eat more fruit as I've slackened off with that and just hope things don't get out of hand. I'm also six weeks late so I'm wondering could that have nothing to do with no weight coming off??

*@Galvantula, I have learnt to do what I want and can manage when I'm in the right frame of mind otherwise it doesn't end well. Eventually it does happen..

MrsJonesAndMe · 05/05/2020 16:09

That made me laugh @fallfallfall I'm not doing great on the snacking and pizza tonight for tea - I need it after running around all day. Still need to hang the washing (inside) and hoover up after we've eaten.

Sounds like a good plan @SunshineCake Windy today here. Had a walk and going to do another HIIT video tonight and then a quick yoga stretch after.

Just do the best you can. I'm just trying to maintain too @Galvantula

SunshineCake · 05/05/2020 16:11

What do you think of these and how could I improve them ?

Lose in 2020/February
fallfallfall · 05/05/2020 16:32

Those look really sweet sunshine. Are you having fun making them?
I’m watching lots of you tube videos on card making, researching on Pinterest etc.

fallfallfall · 05/05/2020 16:32

I could probably stand on the scale....

SunshineCake · 05/05/2020 17:03

I'm enjoying it. I just posted on arts and crafts and were told they are old fashioned, anyone can stick bits on a card etc. But fed up now tbh. I thought they were good considering how rubbish I used to be.

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 05/05/2020 17:50

Hi @SunshineCake

I think they're beautiful and I would be happy to give or receive any of them.

In terms of constructive feedback there are some fine tweaks you could make which come with practice.

If you look at the balance and positioning of the all butterfly one, I would have broken up the big and small butterfly's to give a more random, flighty look.

If you look at the top right, I might have gone either all green for the flowers or had a more balanced mix of colours.

But it's the kind of small changes that come with practice.

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 05/05/2020 18:04

Just popped into arts and crafts and the little half circle card with the elephant is really sweet ❤️

fallfallfall · 05/05/2020 18:13

The quality is very good, size proportions and balance might be your next area of focus. torys suggestions are very good.
Stay true to the enjoyment and learning process, and if you want look into flower pot cards on you tube or Pinterest your flowers would work very well with that design.

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 05/05/2020 18:17

Absolutely keep going!

This is why I don’t tend to put up pictures of my crafts. I do it because i enjoy it and I like what I make. I think it would make me lose some of the enjoyment if other people didn’t like them, so I understand how you feel.

Just remember that opinions are like arseholes, everyone’s got one and some of them stink.

fallfallfall · 05/05/2020 18:20

torys that’s very funny!! And true

SunshineCake · 05/05/2020 20:03

Thanks guys. Your comments were very kind and didn't upset me at all. I've hidden the thread if anyone wants one, you are very welcome. I might take a break for a bit. Kind of feel disheartened. I'm also hormonal so feel that too.

Torys, I didn't even twig re the butterflies as I was trying not to put the same colours next to each other. The one with the small pink star was a mistake which is why I put the pink butterflies on to try and tie it in. Or did you mean the one with the orange pot?

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 05/05/2020 20:07

Hi @sunshinecake

Ah I see what you did there with the pink star, my eyesight is pants (legally blind in one eye, so actually pants 😂), I thought that was a little pink flower in with all the green flowers.

MrsJonesAndMe · 05/05/2020 21:11

Don't let anyone suck the joy out of it for you @SunshineCake How bloody rude! Some people just don't seem to think that there's a real person with feelings at the other end!

I like the bottom left and centre ones the most. Different people will like different things.

I ate just over 8 hours today. Did another HIIT video hurt Blush and a quick yoga stretch.

Tomorrow is my day "off" so just home schooling and going to strip DS's bed. Will also try and get a good walk in.

Thinking of you @Foreverlexicon Hope you are OK, sweetheart!

Sleep well all x
