Cambridge Diet / 1:1 diet, anyone? 2020 targets?

Hi all, does anybody want to buddy up through weight loss journey? I'm feeling really positive. I have 6 stone to loose in order to qualify for any fertility treatment.

I'm on sole source, step one. Sticking to shakes this week. Might have some "meals" next week. Might treat myself to a bar next month.

I feel like the bars could be a slippery slope
for me... I prefer cutting all solids out.

Yes I know, not the healthiest diet long term.. I have no intention of gaining it all back. It's not for everybody, please be nice :) I need a kick start.

@RedDhaliaI was told that my consultant said it's like a fire if I don't fuel it it will you out. Some days I don't want all the products xx

Delly1977 · 10/02/2020 15:06

@RedDhalia wowzer lady! You've been through the wars! Hope dropping the weight helps you recover and eases your pain! I wont smash up your scales....you sound well hard 😳😳😳😝😝😝 x

Yes I would be gutted with a gain, the Whoosh effect could be the reason. Scientifically we must lose 1lb for every 3500 calorie deficit...I've worked out that I should lose over 7lb at tomorrows 2 week weigh in. At least. I will show my fat arse in littlewoods window if I have such a loss 😂 But it really is the only diet that works for me so I will plod along x

Lisapendy19 · 10/02/2020 17:30

I don't want to get weighed tomorrow 😢

LozBoz1972 · 10/02/2020 18:09

Hey all,

Weekends are the worst aren’t they - constant struggle 😔 I just want to be free!!!

I have told my husband to get rid of the scales, I’d be on them everyday, just to check!

Just had my 2nd weigh in, as I do blind weigh in not much to say apart from all my measurements are down and weight is down. I generally feel better and things don’t seem as tight - might have to find out the loss next week, although I heard week 3 loss can be small. This plan is too expensive and harsh to see 1lb loss, I know what I’m like, I’d feel totally demotivated!

What were your week 3 numbers?

LozBoz1972 · 10/02/2020 18:13

Guys I missed lots of posts - I need to catch up 😂

LozBoz1972 · 10/02/2020 18:14

@Lisapendy19
Be brave and go for it - I’m sure you will be fine!

Lisapendy19 · 10/02/2020 18:26

@LozBoz1972 I know I'm going to ask her to do my measurements.
Just don't feel any different from last week if anything I feel really bloated

Delly1977 · 10/02/2020 18:32

@Lisapendy19 your consultant sounds a bit shit, theres no way you should be on 4! I honestly think a brilliant consultant, or even a good one, can make all the difference. Are you able to change?
I hope you get on OK tomorrow, even with 4 products you're still in a calorie deficit so could see a lovely loss x

Lisapendy19 · 10/02/2020 18:32

How much water do people drink? I think I drink too much

Delly1977 · 10/02/2020 18:36

4 litres x

Lisapendy19 · 10/02/2020 18:53

@Delly1977 I know I'm not that keen on her but I don't know anyone else 😢😢 she is quite bossy and doesn't listen.
I knew 4 was too much........

I drink around 4 litres too she even told me that was too much xxx

Delly1977 · 10/02/2020 20:18

Have a look for other consultants in your area, I dont know how you've gone on so long with such bad guidance....that shows your determination xx

LozBoz1972 · 11/02/2020 08:21

I have at least 3l - feels like I never off the loo! 🙄

Delly1977 · 11/02/2020 09:00

Oh yes....its very satisfying to see colourless wee 😝😝😝 I have shares in Andrex (ok, Asdas quilted lol) x

Lisapendy19 · 11/02/2020 10:00

I'm on 3-4l and yep never off the loo 😂😂

Delly1977 · 11/02/2020 13:46

Sods law....my fortnightly weigh in tonight and my period has decided to make an appearance! Didn't have 1 last month but the floodgates have opened today!

I need 5lb loss for my 1st stone....bet I get 4lb because my body is hilarious like that 😂😂😂😂

What times your WI @Lisapendy19?

Mexyy · 11/02/2020 16:39

@Lisapendy19 sweetheart I’m extremely concerned...you should not be having 4 shakes at all!!!! I’m taller than you and weigh so much more. For your hubby they do recommend 4 products as men burn calories quicker. If you find another consultant and they are far..you can always buy the products in bulk from consultants. And if you tell the consultant you will buy in bulk then most probably they will travel to you xx

Mexyy · 11/02/2020 16:45

@Oktopus123 yes you should loose weight but a lot slower and it depends on your activity during the day. However if you can’t do without the meal..I don’t recommend you staying on Cambridge as it’s soooo expensive already and you will loose weight much slower so that means double expenditure. Xxx

Mexyy · 11/02/2020 16:51

@RedDhalia yes your right but that’s why I didn’t start on 1 shakes a day..I started with three and gradually within one week I came on one shake a day alongside intermittent fasting. So I trained body in how many calories it should receive. BUT on a active day..if I know I’m going into the office if I have meetings all days..I will have two shakes.

The whole goal is to put my body in deficit calories according to my activity..it does make sense to me to have 2/3 shakes when I know I’m going to be home and doing a few chores.

And I still loose a lot of weight every week xx

Mexyy · 11/02/2020 16:57

@LozBoz1972 my week 3 I lost 2kg which is about 2.4 lbs but don’t compare yourself to my results as I have been doing intermittent fasting and not having all 3 products a day xx

Mexyy · 11/02/2020 17:01

@Delly1977 the calculations you done are exactly on the right path..but is our daily activity enough to be in deficit of 3500 calories? Xx

Mexyy · 11/02/2020 17:03

@Delly1977 such a good sign you got period..especially if you didn’t get one last month..it means your body is in good function and don’t worry about tonight’s weigh in as the period affects the numbers BUT look forward to a double weight loss on next weigh in xxx

Delly1977 · 11/02/2020 17:27

Fuckaduck have you seen Adele? (The famous one, not me!)

Cambridge Diet / 1:1 diet, anyone? 2020 targets?
Delly1977 · 11/02/2020 17:29

@Mexyy I am trying not to get too hung up on numbers, its not easy but a bad weigh in has previously made me go on a massive binge and self destruct! But I would love to hit my stone tonight x

Mexyy · 11/02/2020 17:43

@delly1997 I hope you do sweetheart xx my weigh in is tomorrow I can’t wait xx
