My tooth is all fixed. He has removed the existing root filling, re-filled it, then built the tooth back up behind the remaining piece. I wasn't too much of a wimp so didn't make a complete fool of myself! It's sore now; I hope it eases up because we're away for the week tomorrow.

How's your dd this morning, TigerFeet? Hope she's feeling better than she was last night.

Will do the weights in a minute - once I've stopped shaking from going to the dentist (big wuss)

Glad it's all sorted, though, WWB. Well done you for being brave. I'm a gibbering wreck too after going. Reaction to all the stress, I guess.

Are you going to do 2 weeks in one, so do you want us to all weigh asap today? Or just last week's?

TigerFeet - sorry to hear your DD was not feeling well. Hope she's doing better now.

WigWamBam · 23/08/2007 11:17

Sorry, am probably being a bit previous with the weights I'll do it later on. I did last weeks (eventually ) earlier on the thread, so it will just be the one week ... but there's no rush for the weights, I think I was probably thinking it was Friday.

Will need a willing volunteer for next week ...

DD much better today, a trip to the docs this morning and some AB's seem to be doing the trick already. Glad the dentist (known as gob butchers in this house ) wasn't too nasty and experience.

Well I have gained 4 lbs this week, a combination of JAckieNo's fab lunch, my friends' dd's first birthday do (much wine) and a leaving do at work on Tuesday.

hey ho.

i will do next week if you like

TigerFeet · 23/08/2007 20:02

an experience

agalch · 23/08/2007 22:47

Hi everybody

Lost 1lb this week.Have no clue how it happened but thank goodness!!

JackieNo · 24/08/2007 09:05

Hi all - well done on losing, agalch. I've put on 1.5 pounds, I think. Big family party this weekend, so not sure I'll be all that abstemious then, either.

MrsJohnCusack · 24/08/2007 09:55

I@m a bit lost
But I didn't have time to email this mornign as in a rush to get out. Surprisingly, I lost a pound this week. No idea how!

littlemisssensible · 24/08/2007 10:47

Didn't lose anything but didn't gain anything either so overall a good week!

I'm expecting next week to be worse as I'm off to be 'Grandma' this weekend! It was DGD's birthday yesterday (the 'step'one) so we're off to give her her gifts and to party! Hokey, Cokey anyone?

littlemisssensible · 26/08/2007 19:51

Back from DS's felling completely kn@*%ered!

I must be getting old, ds and partner never seem to go to bed before midnight and they're up at some ungodly hour with dgds I'd forgotten how early little ones wake up!.......Actually I don't think it was that early, but combined with the 1-2am bed times this Grandma just couldn't keep up! In fact I needed an afternoon nap

JackieNo · 26/08/2007 20:43

Poor you, LMS. Glad you were able to have a nap though. We went to a family party today - 3 hours to Essex, 3-ish hours there, 3 hours back. What fun. The party itself was great, just the travelling either side. Saw loads of hot air balloons on the way back.

littlemisssensible · 27/08/2007 19:58

Ohhh, I love hot air balloons, they always look so peaceful! I gather they're a lot noisier than they look though, particularly when ever you need to heat the air

Kewcumber · 29/08/2007 18:11

I'm ba-ack...

Kewcumber · 29/08/2007 18:11

did ya miss me?

Kewcumber · 29/08/2007 18:11

well did ya????

JackieNo · 29/08/2007 19:22

Oh yes, definitely. Was this the IoW again?

Kewcumber · 29/08/2007 19:37

yes proper holiday this time - 10 days. can you bleive that we're going back the weekend afetr next for the weekend as my cmpany has an awayday there on the Friday!

JackieNo · 29/08/2007 21:01

Might as well move there. Did you have a good time?

Kewcumber · 29/08/2007 21:35

lovely - sort of sad to come home, but sort of happy too.

Won;t be weighing on Thursday - have eaten like a pig and will start again on Thursday.

JackieNo · 29/08/2007 21:37

It's always nice to be home, with home comforts around you, no matter how nice a time you've had away, I find.

I'm not sure what's happening with the weights this week anyway - I think WWB's away, isn't she.

littlemisssensible · 30/08/2007 10:37

Hi Kew, I'm glad you had a brill time on the IOW, but its good to have you back!

I think Tigerfeet might have offered to do the weights this week, but I'm not completely sure.....I remember someone volunteering at the meet up, but I can't quite remember who

JackieNo · 30/08/2007 17:11

I think you could be right, Littlemisssensible. Thanks TigerFeet if it's you. I've emailed - have lost half a pound since last week, but last week had put on a pound and a half. Still running though - went and bought myself some new shoes today, as the ones I had definitely predate DD (though they've barely been used since she was born), and I may even have had them since I was at university, which is 19 years ago now. The new ones feel very bouncy.

littlemisssensible · 31/08/2007 09:44

LOL JackieNo!

It's amazing how bouncy new trainers can be isn't it!

I've just replaced my tatty Tesco trainers for a new pair of Tesco trainers! I really should go to the sports shop and get a properly fitted sports shoe but I just never seem to have the time!

JackieNo · 31/08/2007 09:51

I can't wait to get out and run in them, but will wait till tomorrow, because I went yesterday, iyswim. Now that's a very new feeling for me - feeling that I want to do some exercise. But nice. The shop was almost empty, which was just as well, as they said 'Have a bit of a run outside in them, to try them out' and I felt like a complete plonker, but did it anyway. We did also pick loads of blackberries yesterday, so today it will be blackberry and apple crumble for pudding. Yum. No calories in home-cooked puddings, obviously.

MrsJohnCusack · 31/08/2007 09:55

I have forgotten to email again, I am in teething baby hell

I have lost a pound though, somehow

maybe I'll email now
