Hello @TantricTwist and @DottieLottie1 ☺️

We're close to 1k on our old thread and I thought I'd start this one whilst I remember and the other one is still open so I can point you to it!

We can finish the other one first if it'll make anyone itch leaving it unfinished 😀

Here's to getting to our goal weight/sizes during this thread! 🥂 (The next one we'll be maintaining!)

Oops, posted to soon!

What are your plans between now and over the Christmas period?

Happy Monday everyone 😊

Seer · 16/12/2019 14:04

Happy Monday!

Had a busy day yesterday and didn't get a chance to post.

Went for afternoon tea with friends which was lovely but made me realise how much my appetite has changed! I only wanted the sandwiches, one slice of cake and one scone! The rest came home in a doggy bag!

It was at a stately home kind of in the middle of us @DottieLottie1

My dh is also away for work and I'm working myself this evening so it's feeling like a full on day of juggling everything by myself.

B: fast
L: some left over veg biriyani rice (small portion) and salad
D: mushroom pie, roast potatoes and veg

Not sure on cals, maybe 1200?

Christmas-wise; we're hosting as usual (we've lost most of our family so I'm one of the two surviving senior members!) and then have various family members coming and going in the week after Xmas.

I'm almost there with presents, just the some of the DCs presents still to get.

Have a lovely day! ☺️

Seer · 16/12/2019 14:09

Oh between now and Xmas! Not much actually, all the social events have happened so now it's fairly relaxed until Christmas itself.

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 16/12/2019 14:57

I love an afternoon tea, it wasont DH was it? Lovely there!

I'm out for Christmas dinner with colleagues tomorrow already know what I'm having as a set menu. No booze as I'm driving so should be no more than 1500 calories for the day. Work closes down for the Christmas period until s hools go back at the end of the week. Going to a well known London venue this weekend to see a film and will have dinner out. Seeing old friends for a Christmas lunch next monday but will try and be very sensible, but that may well raise eyebrows as they will definitely notice my weight loss and then worry!

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 16/12/2019 17:47

YESSSSSS!
3.5lb off this week. Fuck knows how seeing as I had lots of vino!

The one where we get into our old jeans
DottieLottie1 · 16/12/2019 18:48

🙌🏼, @MyGhastIsFlabbered that's brilliant 😃. Looks like the booze isn't making much difference to you because of your choices elsewhere. Keep going, you sound like you might be in the zone 😉.

Seer · 17/12/2019 13:58

Amazing news @MyGhastIsFlabbered ! Well done!

Yes it's DH @DottieLottie1 ☺️

Usual day of work etc today.

B: in the mood for breakfast for a change so had v cheese and tomato on a bagel
L: roast veg salad
D: v meatballs and spaghetti with broccoli

What are you all up to? ☺️

OP posts:
Seer · 18/12/2019 16:50

All ok there @DottieLottie1 ? Unlike you to be quiet.

Busy day here working then shopping so only just getting a mo to post.

B: fast
L: left over spaghetti (small portion) and salad
D: veg stew with dumplings

I suspect it's around 1200 cals.

A friend came over on Monday and made several comments about how flat my tummy is - she is the only person who has ever mentioned the nearly two stone I've lost tho so I'm guessing she's more observant than most!

I'm still keeping up with the kettlebells, now adding in planks too!

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 18/12/2019 20:47

I'm still here 👋🏻😂. Got up a little later than normal as was out last night for a Christmas meal with colleagues. I stuck with coke zeros and a steak meal, it was lovely. I was at work early and met up with DR between my shifts, they are doing g alot better. Just got home so a long day. I had a few more slightly concerned comments regarding my new size, but they don't remember that actually it was my old size!

Today's choices...

B- fast
L- just a tea and a herbal tea
D- Baked sweet potato with pineapple cottage cheese and plenty of salad
S- Prosecco time

That's 1196 calories.

I've decided to start maintaining by eating back my calories burnt via exercise as step one and the go from there.

It's nice to have a flat stomach again isn't it @Seer? Although I do have a slight(ish) bump due to C section scar.

Hope you enjoyed your Wednesday everyone 😊

DottieLottie1 · 19/12/2019 09:05

Morning! I had a terrible night sleep and no real reason for it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyway, having a cuppa before I rise properly. Off to work in a bit with a double shift ahead of me. Works good fun this week due to Christmas activities and challenges thrown into the lessons I coach. I will swing by a coffee shop during my gap between shifts. Home late evening.

B- Vanilla and almond milkshake
L- Coconut milk based hot chocolate
D- Minestrone soup and a crusty roll
S- Blueberries

I've just realised I'm eating out 5 times next week, I will have to be sensible!

What are your plans today? Enjoy your Thursday all 😊

DottieLottie1 · 19/12/2019 09:07

I don't understand why on some posts my paragraphs disappear and not on others? It's a bit random but I'm not writing my posts in one long text!

Seer · 19/12/2019 18:28

Your paragraph breaks are showing for me @DottieLottie1 Eating your exercise calories back sounds like a good plan. You're going to waste away if you don't start eating more soon!

I've had two c-secs too so there's still a slight bump right above my pubic bone, I don't think I'll ever have the concave stomach of my youth again! But it's flat enough for me.

Five times! Wow!

I'm actually out tonight for something I forgot when I said I don't have anything else on before Xmas 😀

I'm at my fave Chinese that you've spied on me at before 😉

B: fast
L: leftover veg stew
D: Chinese: 4 courses! And a glass of wine

Have also had a handful of peanuts and a mulled wine

So about a million calories!

Have a lovely evening.

DottieLottie1 · 19/12/2019 20:16

Sounds nice though @Seer 😆

DottieLottie1 · 20/12/2019 08:51

Morning!

I'm still dropping weight (another 2lb) so I definitely need to start maintaining now. It's a bit tricky seeing as there are so many festivities in the coming days 😬. I expect to put a few pounds on in the next 2 weeks though! So step 1 eat back calories burnt, so that will be around an extra 300/400 a day. I think this will be about right as that will take me to 1500/1600 calories daily.

Working until mid afternoon. DC are breaking up from school at lunchtime, I might persuade them to come for a dog walk with me weather dependant. DS will probably be too cool for school though, better luck in getting DD to follow suit 😂. DS cooling a steak dinner again tonight 😋 (sorry @Seer as I know your vegetarian 😬).

Enjoy your Friday everyone. 😊

Seer · 20/12/2019 09:50

Morning!

Flooded in here so the DCs haven't made it in for the last day of school!

I've still got work this morning so they'll be watching Xmas movies until I stop work at lunchtime.

The meal last night was amazing but deffo very calorific!

B: fast
L: veg stew
D: takeaway if we can get it through the flooding!

It deffo sounds like it's time for you to kick into maintaining @DottieLottie1, that's a lot of weight to lose given how slim you already are. Could you start eating lunch?

Stay warm and dry today! ☺️

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 21/12/2019 17:28

Yay, finished work and I'm off for 2 whole weeks 😊

Currently on the underground on our way to see a film at a well known London venue. Will have food beforehand possibly at Harvester. Will keep things sensible.

Have a good one everybody!

Seer · 21/12/2019 18:55

That's a lovely feeling @DottieLottie1 ! I've just finished work too ☺️

Have a fab time today!

I've been doing chores and mountains of present wrapping so feeling quite satisfied!

B: vBLT
L: a home-made choc chip cookie!
D: v chicken burgers and salad in wraps, fries, corn on the cob

With a couple of glasses of wine it'll probably be around 1500

OP posts:
Seer · 22/12/2019 08:57

I've just hopped on the scales as I didn't on Friday as I'd eaten so much at the Chinese on Thursday night! I'm still maintaining around my goal weight ☺️

Which is brilliant given I've deffo been easing up and having the odd snack or treat, not to mention I generally eat more at weekends and I'm due on!

I feel like I can relax and trust myself to eat intuitively again, which was always how I had eaten until the last year when I suddenly put on the weight after an op, a big holiday and Xmas.

Busy day today... THE food shop, last presents to buy and hopefully get the remaining presents wrapped. I'm usually slow at getting things wrapped, I find it such a chore and keep putting it off. I'm often still wrapping late Xmas eve (sometimes after Xmas if I'm not seeing the recipients until then!) I really don't want to do that this year.

I don't know what we'll eat tho!

B: possibly a v cooked breakfast
L: fast
D: no idea!

Have a lovely day ☺️

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 22/12/2019 09:51

Morning😀

@Seer you do sound like you've changed your eating habits or at least regained them! I'm worried I haven't, but we will see. I'm not going to take my eye of the ball (well scales 😂) this time!

As for present wrapping, I wrap as I go, so only a few at a time. It's much easier and if DC were to find anything at least its wrapped 😜

I'm doing a present drop off to family today. I also need a few bits from the supermarket but I'm a bit 😱 over how busy it will be!

Having homemade burgers with salad tonight plus last nights unopened Prosecco.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone 😊

Seer · 23/12/2019 09:08

Morning! ☺️

I think you can trust yourself @DottieLottie1 You can lose weight like a demon so there's no real risk of letting yourself see what happens if you loosen up a little.

I got mixed up yesterday and the food shop is actually today 😬 Wish me luck!

Then I will spend the evening wrapping and then I will be READY!

I tend to change my meals around when family is here because I find it easier to miss lunch rather than breakfast.

B: olive tapenade on toast
L: fast
D: lentil spaghetti bolognese and broccoli

Have a lovely day ☺️

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 23/12/2019 10:52

Morning!

I'm doing 'the' shop today too, that makes us 2 of the 30.1 million people hitting the supermarket today 😱😱😱.

Before we go shopping I'm off out for lunch with old work colleagues. They will definitely notice my weight, I'm going to try and be sensible with my choice but I dont want them raising eyebrows! Hair to be let down from tomorrow until friday 😋.

I will only get a short dog walk In today but hope yo make up for it tomorrow morning.

Happy Christmas Eve Eve everyone, enjoy your day!

Seer · 23/12/2019 14:51

Hope you survived the shop and had a lovely lunch @DottieLottie1

We're back home and everything's packed away. 😅 Just having a break before making mince pies with DS, our yearly tradition.

Then onto the wrapping, during which I shall glug some Prosecco or something to make it bearable! 😀

The dining room could do with a bit of a sort out, it's clean but feels like it could do with a bit of a declutter before the hordes descend. I'll see how I feel about tackling that later!

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 24/12/2019 06:49

Morning!

@Seer, I haven't made homemade mince pies for a while, maybe I can get DS on the case next Christmas! I'm actually going out dig walking with DD this morning and we will stop at a local bakers- well known for our area @Seer (D's), warm sausage rolls and mince pies are on the order. DS will sneak out at the same time and get a pressure for his sis. This arvo we will catch a christmas movie whilst DS bakes a cake to take to DR tomorrow. DH working a half day. Early Pub dinner and then home for another Christmas movie, probably Die Hard 😂 I will be having chocolate and baileys tonight!

Happy Christmas Eve Everyone

🎄🎅🤶🎁🍾🥂

DottieLottie1 · 24/12/2019 08:57

Obviously we are going on a dog walk and DS is sneaking out to buy a pressie for his sister! Autobloodycorrect, but my bad for never proof reading 😆

Seer · 24/12/2019 10:28

Morning and happy Christmas Eve! 🎄🎅

I'm feeling so relaxed and organised!

Mention of that bakers makes me laugh @DottieLottie1 because I thought it was a national chain until a couple of years ago when I shared in a massive UK fb group something like "Yay! Look at all their vegan options" and everyone was like "Who are they?!"

Just made the children pancakes for breakfast. I was going to have breakfast and realised I wasn't actually hungry so will wait and eat at lunch instead.

I won't be tracking my meals after today for a few days but here's today's...

B: fast
L: no idea! Probably just a sandwich or similar.
D: a takeaway or buffet food - tbd by vote later!

And then from afternoon: pink Prosecco, chocolate and and other goodies!

We might go down to the village for carol singing. It's lovely but some years we're just too snuggled up at home (or still wrapping!) to go. We'll see!

Have a fabulous day all! ♥️
