Don't want to do it alone

Alized - 3.5 POINTS FOR A RIPPLE!!! They are only 175 calories. Don't tell me the points for a Mars Bar...it would no doubt break my heart! Sob!

I think that I am going to have to be chocolate free until target.

Alized · 20/09/2004 22:11

Chinchilla

Not going to tell you points for mars.
Can you not save enough points for a Curly wurly
Heros chocs point each. Or are you saving for something else maybe wine.

If you really want something then dont leave it out. it will only haunt you.

Chinchilla · 20/09/2004 22:14

No, if I have choc, it has to be big enough to satisfy me (as with all things in life ), otherwise I have more that is not counted! I find that it is just better not to have any at all at the start of a diet. Please DO tell me the Mars points, and maybe I can have one a week after weigh-in.

Alized · 20/09/2004 22:15

Chinchilla

Forgot to say good luck for Thursday. Let me know
how you got on.

Chinchilla · 20/09/2004 22:16

Thanks! Will do.

Alized · 20/09/2004 22:18

chinchilla

Mars bar standard 5.5 points

Chinchilla · 20/09/2004 22:19

Gulp...one a week it is then!

Thanks. Will stop troubling you on Thursday, as I will get the shopping and eating out guides!

Alized · 20/09/2004 22:25

willow2 · 20/09/2004 22:33

I'm up for it. Want to lose 2 stone, if not a bit more.

ebbie22 · 20/09/2004 23:14

Is anyone still online who has joined up?If so could they pls fill me in

libb · 20/09/2004 23:15

There isn't much to fill you with to be honest, just that we have all decided that we are Goddesses and we deserve to be slinky ready for Christmas . . . does that suit your criteria?

ebbie22 · 20/09/2004 23:17

oh Yes..When is it starting from? And have we worked on a diet as such?

libb · 20/09/2004 23:23

Sort of from now I guess and there is no diet plan at all from what I have seen? I am just going to the go for the sensible eating thing, try to anyway ... if DS will let me. I guess I will find it easier when I am back at work

JuniperDewdrop · 20/09/2004 23:43

I'm well sick now DH is healthier than me, it's all those b*** raisin wheats he eats. He's full of vitamins and hardly lacking in anything.

btw for anyone who doesn't know what I'm rambling on about it's from the site that lets you keep a journal of your food intake. I'm totally hooked on it now

KateandtheGirls · 21/09/2004 00:01

Ebbie, it was just a few of us who decided that we wanted to lose some weight. Hopefully posting about it here will keep us motivated. I, personally, am on my first day of the South Beach diet.

notadrop · 21/09/2004 00:28

Sitting here wondering if I can get away with just 1 more week of binge eating!! Know I really can't!! Please help me lose at least 1 stone (target really 4 stone). My god just realised that is the weight of my 8yr old ds1!!!

Forestfly · 21/09/2004 07:55

Not a plan as such, some people doing ww, some south beach others eating sensibly, personally i am eating nothing but soup and water for three days.
We are posting our weight loss every tuesday, thats all i know.

I can't believe I was awake at 4am this morning thinking out my plan of attack - whilst listening to DS sleep through until 6am! Bah!

Have just weighed myself and will have to combat the stupid readouts by doing it in the same spot each week - I am 12st 7lbs . To be 10st would be good so that means 25lbs to lose between now and Christmas - blimey.

libb · 21/09/2004 08:59

25lbs in 12 odd weeks?! think I will be having soup too

MancMum · 21/09/2004 09:59

Forestfly, now have strange feeling of being watched whenever I think of eating something bad...

Fizog · 21/09/2004 10:28

I went to the gym this morning and have had a muller light and an apple to eat so far.

That Journal thing is really good as you can enter the foods and it works everything out for you, I'm feeling very motivated today!!

fio2 · 21/09/2004 10:35

I was absolutely useless yesterday

notadrop · 21/09/2004 10:56

Feeling quite motivated today. Bowl of fruit & fibre so far today - still early yet. (Must avoid choc!!) My mantra for the day.

ebbie22 · 21/09/2004 11:01

When do we weigh ourselfs?Today and then put it online how much we have lost/put on etc? Also if you do exercise before breakfast you will burn off mre calories...If that helps anyone...
I would like to lose a stone or so,but more want to eat heathly and to tone up more, all on the cheap side...

ernest · 21/09/2004 11:24

can I join? I'm about 10.5 & should be more like 8.5 I'm never gonna get there, but I've got no clot6hes & can't bare the thought of buying size 14 jeans. After 1st birth lost all weight no probs, but this time, I can't seem to shift an ounce. I have no motivation - if I'm really 'ggod' I don't loose an ounce. if I'm really 'bad' and eat cakes for a whole day, I don't gain an ounce. How does that work??? I'm very fed up with it.
