Welcome all to half a stone off for July!

As in the June thread I promise to inject some enthusiasm into every day (and try to stay away from Greggs) We saw some amazing losses in June so let's see if we can beat June's total!!

All welcome whether you are fasting, 5:2 12:8, ww, slimming world etc etc.

All I ask for is positivity and for us all to support each other.

Much love and looking forward to Day 1!!!

Weighed in this morning and I'm 4lbs down. Will maybe get another 2 off in the last 10 days of this month! Hopefully!

Great news cricket!

I really thought this morning that I would lose another pound this morning, but nope I've maintained. It seems to take extra discipline not to indulge on a Saturday so here is my plan:

Be on my feet as much as possible - housework, take DD out, decorating
Eggs and bacon for breakfast
Skip lunch
Soup for tea
No wine - I'll drink when I've lost this next pound.

Putting determined face on.

No weight loss again. But DH told me my stomach looked really flat, I did a HITT workout last night.
I really need to lose some weight to help with my workouts just now.

Wonderful news Cricket both about Ivy and the loss. I hope you have a wonderful holiday, it's so deserved.

I thought "sod it" last night and had a Chinese. Kind of thought, even if it makes me gain, at least my weight will move. Weighed this morning, not a sausage. I am exactly the same, even to the bloody ounce. How can it not even vary by an ounce for nearly two weeks? Bah.

Not sure of plan today, usual crudités for lunch probably, possibly lamb kofta and veg for dinner.

I had a 'day off' blinked, and somehow it's turned into 2 weeks off 😭
I've weighed myself today and I'm surprised to be 11.7 7/8. I started at 11.6 this month and after 2 weeks containing wine, lots of crisps dipped in houmous and biscuits, I am very shocked and relieved to see i haven't undone all my work from June!
So, I'm back on it! Caught up with this lovely inspiring thread, did 30 minutes on my exercise bike this morning, had a banana for breakfast.
Pitta with quorn slices and salad planned for lunch, a smell piece of quiche with tons of veggies for dinner.
My aim for the remainder of July is to get back to 11.6, with a sliver of hope that I might get below it

Ended up eating a packet of Hula hoops, a wafer bar and a kitkat last night. FFS! Shitty day, shittyish week if I'm honest but can't really put my finger on why (much less walking this week so maybe that?)

I DID log everything though - way over calories - but I feel like I've got it out of my system now.

Just been out for a 40 minute walk and am feeling much better.

Had a really bizarre dream about Chris O'Dowd, he gave me a long hug goodbye and I could feel the shivers go down my spine (in a good way). I wouldn't have him down as one of my crushes. Odd but nice 😁

Oh I'm so pleased to hear about Ivycat! And your impressive weight loss, Cricket - I hope you have a fab holiday!
No weight loss this week but too much stress at work to care and next week will be much better. Sadly yoga was cancelled this morning but I was so tired I would probably have fallen asleep during the relaxation bit.
Having salad for lunch to make up for it!

Just got on the plane. My seatbelt fits without an extender needed. I am actually crying like a soft arsed cow on the plane just because I can do my seatbelt up. Yeah I didn't hit my target for holiday but this is the best present ever!!!

Is also like to say thanks for all your motivation. I'm back on it. Have spoken to a friend I'm on holiday with in August. We have both committed to fast800 between now and holiday. We will be slender and super fit together by the pool 😊

We’ve had friends over all day today and had/having the following:
B. Wheat biscuits and fruit
L. Chicken salad wraps
D. Pizza
Exercise. None again!
Snacks: had angel delight with marshmallows
I’m dreading the weigh in tomorrow given how little exercise I’ve done this week. Will report back in the morning.

Went off plan today. Met friends for lunch and had a burger, crispy squid and a bit of crumble with ice cream. Reined it back with carrot and beetroot for dinner.

Back on it tomorrow. I think I will just have lost 1lb this week but that's okay.

Feel bit yuck as not exercised but reminding myself health is the foundation and getting back on exercise next week.

One more week to go guys! I will be vv good.

Morning weigh in: 9st6. Now I can say that I have lost a stone since May. I'm so happy!

Last night my friend sent me her wedding photos from the beginning of June. I was a bridesmaid and I can really see the difference between how I looked then and now. This thread has made such a difference! Still loved the photos though because it was a brilliant day and we all looked so happy!

Got one more pound to lose this month to reach the 7lbs off in July target. So I want to stay on it this week.

Hello. Wondering if I could join in late? I've lost about 6.5 stone over a couple of years but last few months I've not been well and out a stone back on. I'm in a horrible habit of binging on shit for energy cos feel ill and crap. Once I'm in that cycle it is so so hard to get off so was hoping to find a thread to be accountable on/check in.

@lightlypoached yes! If you have no added sugar angel delight with skimmed milk and most marshmallows are 0% fat, it’s not a bad snack and very satisfying!
Weighed in this morning. A loss of 0.2kg. That brings my July total to 2.1kg. It’s not bad considering I’ve done hardly any exercise this week.
I’ve booked a last minute break in the UK for a week leaving tomorrow. It was actually a surprising good deal. Just me and the kids but it’s self catering so I’ll have total control over food. It’ll be lots of walking and swimming so hopefully it’ll help with my weight loss and give me a bit of a break from the norm.

10 more days left of July, 3lb to lose if I want to get the total 7lb loss, 0.5 loss this week as although I've been doing hardcore workouts my food has been shocking. Must stay away from the after dinner snacking!
