Following on from previous themread and on the lovely @VivaFridas behalf I welcome you all to half a stone off for June!

Welcome to all and good luck for the month ahead. I hereby promise to inject a little enthusiasm into each morning and stay away from the Greggs Vegan rolls.

Old and new joiners welcome, whatever diet or exercise plan you are following. All I ask for is positivity towards others even if we are feeling a bit meh about ourselves.

Who's in and ready for day 1 tomorrow!

@Startoftheyear2019 aw thankyou! That's a lovely thing to say. And check you out early at the gym on a weekend. I need a big kick up the bum when it comes to the gym.

Happy Birthday @Wellthatwastricky! I intend to be fully off plan on my birthday next week, it's 1 day out of 365 and I am going to enjoy it

@BrillyPribble yy to stopping eating when you are full! I am from the generation where we had to clear our plates as kids and I think that "you must clear your plate" mentality can be hard to shift. I also make a conscious effort to put down my knife and fork between mouthfuls so I eat slower and feel full earlier. I usually have leftovers for work lunches the next day!

@lightlypoached have you tried swapping wine for g&t? The calorie difference is huge if you use diet tonic.

@LooseAtTheSeams I know I can't wait! Currently trying to decide between mushrooms and spinach or tandoori paneer!

@giddybiddy I've got a ww referral code for a free month if you want it?

Can I join please? I have a stone to lose and just can't find the motivation! All my clothes are too tight and it's depressing me!! Weighed in this morning at 10st 8lb. Would like to be 9st 7lb. Good luck everyone!

LooseAtTheSeams · 01/06/2019 10:34

Post breakfast weigh in 72kg. Have already informed DH about salad lunch! Kind of helps that it's very warm today...

AwdBovril · 01/06/2019 11:16

I'd like to join too please. I've lost about 11 pounds since November (which is when I started properly trying to lose weight), am currently 10st 3, BMI 25.3, I only need to lose 2 pounds to get into the healthy weight range, but ideally I'd like to get to 8st7 - 9st, I'm just under 5'3" & small framed so that's a good target for me, I think. Have been struggling to lose the baby weight ever since DD was born, she's now 7... I was 14st something when I had my postnatal 6 week checkup, I've just had a massive stall in the middle of my progress.

I bought the 30 day shred dvd yesterday. Will do as often as possible, I have a chronic pain illness so it won't be every day. Am also trying to get a lot more organised re my diet - luckily I like healthy food, salads etc anyway but I need to organise better because DH always reverts to takeaway or ready meals when I'm not well enough to do dinner. Going to start doing meal preparation for a few days at a time.

ilovetrees30 · 01/06/2019 12:11

I forgot to weigh myself this morning 🙈 oops! I got up late and the carpenter was due this morning. But my breakfast consisted of fruit and greek yogurt with a black decaf coffee.

I think going from my last weigh in I was 12 stone 8lbs which was last weekend, I would ideally like to be around 11stone. I am 5ft8. I put on most of my weight when I was medicated for an overactive thyroid so my metabolism has slowed right down.

EmmaCB1 · 01/06/2019 12:12

Chocatoo mid afternoon is hard for me too. I find having a good amount of protein at lunch helps (a tin of tuna with salad maybe) and then some almonds and an apple cut into slices, possibly even a square or too of cheese around 3.30.

Mum7777 · 01/06/2019 12:23

So I weighed in this morning. Slightly better than I thought it was 13st 4lb. Still hoping to eventually be around 11 and a half stone. I can do this. We can do this.

crazycatz · 01/06/2019 12:47

Oh count me in. I'm currently 14st 9 down from 16st 2. But need to get to 12st or under. I'm almost 6 foot so 12st is pretty close to my ideal weight.
Aiming for 13st 7 by end of june, although that could be a little hopeful. I am trying to do lots of walking and a little swimming too.
I also have diastasis recti, (when your abdominal muscles get f*ed from pregnancy) and start a program for that in a couple of weeks.
Good luck everyone. 😊❤️🍀👍

Weighed in this morning at 80.9kg, it’s been a rocky week and annoying that I’ve been hovering on 80 for about 2 weeks now.

Got myself out to park run this morning, which is a fair walk there and back. I managed to run the entire 5k for the first time which made me feel brilliant Grin I really need to get back on track this week and stay motivated. I’ll do Saturday weigh ins for this month, so would like to be under 80kg next Saturday.

Today’s food:
Brunch: Eggs poached in spicy tomatoes with spinach and a side of tomato and onion ciabatta
Dinner: Bolognese with sweet potato
Snacks: Latte, half a slice of cake with DP and a couple of vodka cokes down the pub later.

It’ll be around 2000 cals but I’ll have burned around 3500 today so not too worried. I just need to remember to drink water!

Good luck to everyone on the thread this month - we can do this! Grin

Millie2018 · 01/06/2019 14:05

Thanks for the quote Cricket! I weighed in, had wheetabix for breakfast followed by a Zumba class and then a banana. Small lunch of salmon and veg.
Gained in May and determined not to repeat that this month.

TildaTurnip · 01/06/2019 17:48

I’m working at home at a computer and find it really hard not to snack. I became vegan in 2015 and found I put on loads of weight because of something was vegan I got excited and ate it.

cricketmum84 · 01/06/2019 18:07

This has cheered me right up today! I love to compare how far I have come when I'm having a difficult day. I can see such a difference!

Wow cricket that is a great transformation. Well done! That's really encouraging to see.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 01/06/2019 18:20

AwdBovril 30 Day Shred is good. I've been doing it, but not as intensively as it suggests. I also have issues with chronic illness and pain and I've overdone it in the past with exercise. 30DS 3 times a week combined with a lot of walking seems to keep me pretty fit though.

caffeinebuzz · 01/06/2019 19:05

Weighing in on 1 June at 66.1kg, having lost half a stone so far since Jan. Eventually I'd love to get back to my pre-baby weigh of 56kg, but for now my mind is focused on the 60kg milestone!

Have been at a BBQ today, so not off to the best start. But I've already done a healthy meal plan starting from Monday, and swearing off weekday chocolate, snacks and wine for the rest of the month.

Retraite40 · 01/06/2019 19:33

Me. Bring it on.

Moominfan · 01/06/2019 19:53

Well done cricketmum! How'd you do it x

Millie2018 · 01/06/2019 20:00

Wow cricket! That’s impressive! And motivating.

Christmastreeohchritmastree · 01/06/2019 20:10

Right I'm in. I have tried several times this year to kick start a diet and failed miserably. I have a chronic condition that means I can't exercise and because of this I have piled on 2 stone. I weigh more than I did at 9 months pregnant.
Starting weight 10st 4.75 lbs.

Gangoes · 01/06/2019 21:02

I would love to join you all on the June mission. I'm 110 kg 😭.

chalkyc2 · 01/06/2019 21:11

Joining you a day late too and new to these monthly posts. Will weigh in the morning but I know it's terrible 😢

Anyway. I go on holiday in 5 weeks - a stone would be amazing...is this possible?!?

Pinkvici22 · 01/06/2019 21:13

Bit late but can I join please? I lost 7lbs in May and had managed 14lbs Jan-April, so 21lbs this year. I’m currently at 10st and my ideal weight is 9st 7lbs...if I could get there in June I’d be thrilled as I then go on holiday!!!

lemonbalmtea · 01/06/2019 21:21

I'd love to join you again, I've name changed since May (moving away from the pizza related name!).

Current weight: 11st 3lbs
Goal for end June: 10st 10lbs

Thanks so much for leading this thread - it is really helping me have a more consistent and sensible approach!

I've just joined the gym - there's a three class a week challenge in June! I'll be dead by the end

PhillipeFellope · 01/06/2019 21:21

Joining in please! I was on another thread from March to a couple of weeks ago but It seems to have pooled out.

Started at 11,7 end of march, am now 10 stone. Looking to be about 9,7. Need a kick up the arse and some accountability!

Was about to have some smarties, I'm going to have an apple instead now Grin
