Following on from previous themread and on the lovely @VivaFridas behalf I welcome you all to half a stone off for June!

Welcome to all and good luck for the month ahead. I hereby promise to inject a little enthusiasm into each morning and stay away from the Greggs Vegan rolls.

Old and new joiners welcome, whatever diet or exercise plan you are following. All I ask for is positivity towards others even if we are feeling a bit meh about ourselves.

Who's in and ready for day 1 tomorrow!

Well done fluffiest that is fabulous !

My final weigh in today and I have put on a bkoody pound which is annoying but its TOTM so not too surprising.
Busy day ahead today at our local summer fete. And Pimms tent Grin

Have a good day everyone and see you on the July thread.

BrillyPribble · 30/06/2019 08:13

Well done fluffiest that's amazing!

I've just done my final weigh-in for June.
Starting weight : 14 st 2lb
Finishing weight : 13st 10lb

So 6lbs off here, not quite at the target but near enough to still be pretty pleased with that. Looking forward to next months target - July is going to be a lot more challenging because I'm off work for most of it (I work term-time) and being out of that steady routine will be tough.

Howlongtillbedtime · 30/06/2019 08:32

brilly you are a pound ahead of me.

I started at 14.2 and finished at 13.11

Am really hoping to manage the 7 pounds in July.

Millie2018 · 30/06/2019 08:35

Did my final weigh in and June loss totalling 2.7kg. I’m so happy with that as May was a gain overall.
Posting on here and tracking my weight more regularly has really made me see where I’m going wrong and how much I need the daily updates to keep me in track.
I’m still not brave enough to post my starting weight but I will most definitely be joining you on Julys thread.
Thank you @cricketmum84 for this months thread, it really did make such a difference for me. I hope o can keep this momentum into July ❤️

OhTheRoses · 30/06/2019 09:10

@cricketmum84 how are things lovely

DeadButDelicious · 30/06/2019 09:21

Well. June has not gone well. Ive spent most of the month putting on and losing the same bit of weight and ended up on 0.1kg lighter than when I started. Here's how it looked;

3/6/2019: 123.3kg

4/6/2019: 123.1kg

10/6/2019: 123.4kg

13/6/2019: 122.6kg

17/6/2019: 121.8kg

20/6/2019: 121.3kg

24/06/2019: 122.2kg

30/06/2019: 123.2kg

Loss so far in June: Bugger all.

Weight at beginning of 2019: 142.9kg
Total loss so far: 19.6 (3.086stones/43.211lbs)

I did however reach my June goal of walking 134.1 km which has probably gone a long way in me maintaining overall rather than putting on a considerable amount.

I'm not drinking enough water, I know I'm not, so I've got a bit of water retention, my hands are puffed up and my rings don't fit.

So yes. It hasn't been the best month. At all. But July is a new one and I'm going to regain control of this.

Congratulations on all the losses!

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat @cricketmum84 18 months is so young. It's rotten when a much loved pet is so poorly. Thanks to you.

cricketmum84 · 30/06/2019 09:22

I can't believe it's the final day of June already!!

My weights were a bit skewed this month after having to buy the new scales but since then I've lost 4lbs. After a very trying and difficult month I'll take that.

I'll be making a very very big effort for the next 3 weeks before I fly off on my hols on the 20th. I'll still be checking in on the thread when I get WiFi though and keeping myself accountable as I really don't want a big gain!

Ivy cat is still at the vets, bit brighter after her fluids but not eating. She's having repeat blood tests tomorrow plus the ultrasound and xrays. Thank god for pet insurance as we are at £1500 bill already. Hoping to be able to go visit her today. I'm so worried that she is scared and thinking we have abandoned her. I just want her home.

Well done everyone on the monthly losses so far! Keep em coming!! It's the final push now :)

Family rugby day so I'll be having a couple of beers, will avoid the food stalls though! In fairness the only veggie options up there are chips so it's not that hard to say no!! I'll probably have a LM burger when we get home.

@DeadButDelicious I did the same this month, just repeatedly losing and gaining the same 3lbs but then finally managed to break through this week and lose 4lbs.

OhTheRoses · 30/06/2019 10:05

cricket and dead you have both lost phenomenal amounts of weight this year. My view would be that your bodies are stabilising and rightly so. Fantadtic achievement to have stabilised and carried on. Now to the next stage.

lightlypoached · 30/06/2019 10:34

Some impressive losses this month. 👏

I finished up at 61.5 this morning so a 2kg loss - off target but have not fasted for last 3 days so not surprised really.

My aim for July is to reach a weight starting with 59. I was at 57 when I got married 7 years ago but as I have Crohn's disease I like to keep a bit of weight in reserve on case of relapse (I can lose 2/3 kilos a week if I'm poorly )

@cricketmum84 sending healing vibes to your kitty. She'll be sleeping a lot and getting tickles from the staff so I'm sure she won't be feeling abandoned. Hope she comes home today.

See you on the new thread.

cricketmum84 · 30/06/2019 10:42

Thanks everyone for the hugs and well wishes.

Heading off to visit her shortly and have a chat with the vet. She's eaten and used her tray overnight which were the 2 things they were worrying about and they said she seems brighter. It's just a bit of a waiting game now for the tests tomorrow and see if her bloods have improved at all.

OP posts:
LooseAtTheSeams · 30/06/2019 12:32

She'll be pleased to see you, Cricket!
I think I've ended up with a net loss of 1,5kg for June. Went running this morning and started tackling the gardening so might be an outside chance of rounding up to 2kg tomorrow but I'm happy anyway. This is my lowest weight for at least 4 years thanks to you lovely people!

cricketmum84 · 30/06/2019 12:43

She certainly was @LooseAtTheSeams! We could her her meowing from the back room as soon as she heard my voice, we've had half an hour of cuddles and so many head bumps and kisses.

Blood tests tomorrow decide whether she comes home or if we have to say goodbye. Can't even think about it right now.

Vebrithien · 30/06/2019 13:00

Thank you so much for this thread cricket, and for setting up the one for July. I hope there is good news with the blood test results.

I end the month on 100.0 kg (no loss since Wednesday, due mostly to the large quantities of ice cream I've been consuming to attempt to deal with the heat!).

This is. 6.7 kg loss for June, leaving me with just over 9 kg to lose to get to merely 'overweight'

We go on holiday in 54 days time. Just over 1 kg per week would get me there.

Take care all, and see you on the next thread XXX

snooksmcgee · 30/06/2019 14:25

Weight 1st June: 16st 3lbs
Todays weight: 15 st 8lbs

So a 9lb weight loss in June for me, which added to my May losses makes 20lbs in total. This month was a lot better than I thought it would be as I had a plateau mid month. It seems to be dropping off quickly again, but I have been doing far more walking this last week.

Well done to everyone, and good luck for July.

DeadButDelicious · 30/06/2019 17:25

Thank you @OhTheRoses my dad reminds me often that it's a marathon not a sprint. Three stones is a huge achievement. I mustn't lose sight of that. Thanks

I get lazy in the summer. I hate being hot and the idea of slaving over a hot stove fills me with dread and I end up ordering a takeaway because I simply can't be bothered. So, to avoid this and make it easier, I've just spent some time prepping my lunches for this week, all I have to do is cook them, no prep involved.

See you in July folks!

Millie2018 · 30/06/2019 17:51

Just wanted to post because I’ve had such a good day today. Normally I’d use end of the month for a bit of an excuse to stuff because it’s a new slate tomorrow, but because I’ve had a good loss this month I’ve been really good today. Feeling positive about July.
Hope everyone else has done well.

Nishky · 30/06/2019 17:53

I lost 6.5lbs in 3 weeks in June but I had lost 3lbs at the end of May.

BrillyPribble · 30/06/2019 18:18

Small triumph for me today. I have a chronic illness which usually renders me unable to exercise at all. It's been gradually improving over the last 6 months and I feel better than I have for years at the moment. Anyway, today we took the kids and walked up Glastonbury tor- a year ago I couldn't have even considered anything like that. I'm really happy I managed it and it gives me a little hope that I might recover sufficiently to be able to run around and play with my children again in the future. Two years ago I couldn't walk further than 100 yards without a stick.

Nishky · 30/06/2019 18:23

BrillyPribble. That’s lovely

Millie2018 · 30/06/2019 20:29

Thanks for sharing that @brillypribble. Wonderful news - long may it continue.

Had a blow out day on Sat (theatre) so predictably put a pound back on.

Starting weight : 11st 3
End weight: 10st 13
Total loss 4lb

I was ill part way through. Pleased with progress. Got more exercise classes planned in July.

Thanks for the motivational support and well done everyone.

TheCatThatDanced · 01/07/2019 10:30

LeukaeLucky · 04/07/2019 13:24
