Following on from previous themread and on the lovely @VivaFridas behalf I welcome you all to half a stone off for June!

Welcome to all and good luck for the month ahead. I hereby promise to inject a little enthusiasm into each morning and stay away from the Greggs Vegan rolls.

Old and new joiners welcome, whatever diet or exercise plan you are following. All I ask for is positivity towards others even if we are feeling a bit meh about ourselves.

Who's in and ready for day 1 tomorrow!

Brolly it's this one. It was recommended on another thread here. Comes in lots of different SPFs, and also has excellent UVA coverage. Smells of coconut too!

Brilly (sorry!)

Howlongtillbedtime · 24/06/2019 07:04

Good morning everyone .
I have had a very social and fun few days but sadly that means the diet has gone to pot. I had a better day yesterday and even got to the gym so back on track now.

Today will be even better.
Lunch Pitta with tuna and salad
Dinner veggie Iranian stew
Snacks fruit and a packet of mini cheddars

And the gym after work.

Here's to a good week !

OhTheRoses · 24/06/2019 07:13

Weigh in tonight. Where I was a week ago, ie, up. Any ideas how I can lose a lb or two between now and 7pm? Have thought about a sauna and no food or drinks after my morning coffee. All my own fault. DD came home on Saturday so have had some favourite family dinners x

waveygravy · 24/06/2019 07:26

Made it, weighed in at 75kg this morning from 78kg start. Thanks all for this thread, just knowing you're all out there having good days and bad days has kept me going through my own. Need to get 5 more kilos off and I'll be back in healthy BMI range.

Fluffiest · 24/06/2019 07:32

No change for me this morning. Might be something to do with the glass of red wine and toasted bagel I had last night. I've really lost my sticking power these last couple of days.

I really want to get a grip. I'm so close to having lost 7lbs in June. Just one more 1lb to go. Gotta screw my head on today.

LooseAtTheSeams · 24/06/2019 07:33

Aargh 1 kg off target - will keep going though!

lightlypoached · 24/06/2019 07:37

Morning.

Final Fast week of 800 combined with 16:8 starts here.

61.1 this morning down from 63.4 starting 24 May. That last 0.7 is coming off this week. Oh yes it is. Ideally I'll be 60 by the end of the month but that will be pushing it !

How's the Monday motivation people?

DeadButDelicious · 24/06/2019 08:01

Morning all!

My period has arrived a week early and I am bloated up like a balloon so I am not at all surprised to see this on the scales this morning. I will be weighing in again on Thursday/Friday when this should of buggered off to see where I am actually at.

3/6/2019: 123.3kg

4/6/2019: 123.1kg

10/6/2019: 123.4kg

13/6/2019: 122.6kg

17/6/2019: 121.8kg

20/6/2019: 121.3kg

24/06/2019: 122.2kg

Loss so far in June: 1.1kg

Weight at beginning of 2019: 142.9kg
Total loss so far: 20.7 kg (3.26stones/45.636lbs)

Either way, it is a bigger loss than I expected this month so that's good.

Probably got to take DDog to the vet today. Her eye is squinty. Which is never good in a pug. Joy.

Hope you are all well!

cricketmum84 · 24/06/2019 08:04

Morning all, sorry I've been a bit absent over the weekend. Had to work lots as well as all the usual weekend jobs so I didn't get much spare time! Setting off in a min to take DD to a hospital appt so it's a quick one from me today.

I didn't do too badly over the weekend, I made a lovely big roasted veg traybake yesterday and saved a portion mixed with Cous Cous so that's lunch sorted for today. Am making a curry out of the leftover roast chicken for DH and DCs and a chickpea and spinach curry for me, I don't use any fats or oils so it's usually 0 points.

I found a big box of biscuits in the garage that we had been bought for Christmas yesterday. They expire on 30th June so i May have partaken in a couple last night! I forgot how much I missed biscuits, especially chocolate chip cookies! I've told the kids to keep eating them lol so I don't!!!

Here's is some Monday motivation for you all :) ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for the words of motivation cricket!
I seem to be in this cycle of being excellent Monday to Friday and then acting like a starved animal Saturday and Sunday. The buffet got me on Saturday and despite skipping dinner I don’t think that will make up for the 2pieces of Birthday cake (not mine)...
Back on it today.
B. Weetabix and fruit
L. Egg salad
D. Jacket potato and beans
Have a good one all

mrsed1987 · 24/06/2019 09:32

Had a colonoscopy over the weekend (which was clear - phew) so that meant slimming world was out the window from thursday as you cant eat any fibre so its all white bread ect (which was lovely!) then saturday and sunday i ate badly to make up for it! Back on it today though as would like to lose 1.5lb when i weigh in on Wednesday!

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 24/06/2019 10:13

Morning!

That's great waveygravey. Inspires me to keep going!

Glad to hear your colonoscopy was clear mrsed1987. These things are always worrying.

I don't weigh myself on Mondays.

Yesterday I had a roast at the pub, it wasn't very nice, so I only ate half of it.

Then I had a handful of Pringles in the evening.

I've been for a run through the soup-like heat this morning, then come home & had yoghurts, seeds, nuts & a cuppa.

I'll have a nice big plate of spaghetti bolognese at about two, then that's it until tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone!

LooseAtTheSeams · 24/06/2019 13:13

Not sure if this is good or bad:
B: wholemeal toast and marmite
L: 2 humus and salad wraps
D: veg burger.
Just need to avoid snacks! And wine.

Skinnywish1 · 24/06/2019 15:14

I gained again this week. I'm back up to 12 st 1.5 lb not happy but can't be helped. Been good on the food all week. Need to reign it in more tho I think. Hope everyone had a fabulous Monday x

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 24/06/2019 19:33

It's so hot here! Making me more determined to shed the pounds: heat is much more comfortable when you're slim Gin

DeadButDelicious · 24/06/2019 19:34

Dog has indeed got an eye ulcer. Superficial though so should be ok. Lots of drops.

We got in a good 45 minute walk to the vets and I've been quite good today calorie wise so hopefully we will see that reflected on the scales at the end of the week!

Vebrithien · 25/06/2019 06:38

Morning all.
Have woken up to torrential rain, so everything feels a bit fresher now.
Am interested how the tweaks I've made to my food plans will have affected weigh in tomorrow.
For today;
Bean and egg breakfast bake
Vegetable soup
Pesto Quorn and pasta

Also have some dried fruit pieces for a snack, as that helps with the nausea

Hope today goes well. Can't believe there are only a handful of days left in the month now!

cricketmum84 · 25/06/2019 07:19

Morning all, how is it day 25 already?? What happened to June?!

Scales are showing a 3lb loss from my Saturday weigh in, the water retention seems to be settling now at least!

Busy day at work again today so I won't be around much during the day sorry! I literally cannot wait for this weekend. I am going to take myself off into the garden with a jug of pimms and a a good book and just chill out! I've worked non stop since last Monday and I feel absolutely drained.

Plan for today is:
B - watermelon, banana and lots of water
L - roasted veg Cous Cous with 40g feta
D - 2 veggie sausages, scoop of mashed potato and roasted cauliflower.

Hope everyone has a lovely and successful day!

Much love ❤️❤️

Morning. 61.4 this morning. I think I'm a bit stuck.

Oh well, another day another 800.

Am doing a big presentation on stage at an event today. So will probably sweat loads and lose a kilo just from the nerves 😂

BrillyPribble · 25/06/2019 08:03

Morning all, what a miserable start to the day! Hoping the rains dries up quickly, my DD is off to Glastonbury this week. Wellies at the ready!
I looked up what my target for June was, 13st 8.75lb. This morning I'm still 13st 11lb so a couple more pounds to go before the end of the month.

Fluffiest · 25/06/2019 08:33

Ooh shall we do some garlic bread too?

I don't know why I do this to myself. Still sticking at 9st12. I didn't exercise yesterday either. But I did spend the evening preparing my application for a dream job, so I don't mind too much.

I'm not at work today so my aim is to be on the go as much as possible. And no more garlic bread!

LeukaeLucky · 25/06/2019 10:17

Good morning
Back from my French feast extravaganza with an additional 1.2 kg so pretty much all my weight loss 😭
The days coming will be difficult because I won't be able to exercise while my youngest one recovers from surgery
Fasting today so aiming for 500 cal
Planning on preparing a lentils soup for lunch and dinner
Have a successful day ladies

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 25/06/2019 10:22

Sorry about your dog's eye DeadButDelicious.

It's a bit cooler here today, but not much. We were promised thunder last night, but it didn't happen.

I weigh the same as last Thursday (12st 2.5 lbs), which bodes well for this Thursday, as long as I stick to my eating plan.

I've done Pilates this morning (to combat the back & hip pain I get from running), & I've eaten my usual yoghurt & nuts.

Late lunch will be left-over moussaka & couscous with salad, then some berries.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Lookingforpizza · 25/06/2019 10:53

Hi all - I’ve had a really busy few days so haven’t checked in. I have gone a bit off track with diet, but it hasn’t had too much of an impact! I’ve just been away and it’s difficult to track things and make better choices than when you’re in your usual routine. On the flip side, my running is really starting to improve, I can go faster and run longer now so just going to keep on with it!

Still feeling pretty stressed about some personal stuff going on, and work is becoming a more stressful place as well due to some people. I’m trying very hard not to let it get me down.

Today’s food:

B: Banana
L: Tomato and bean soup
D: Salmon and rice with chilli
Snacks: Maltesers and a hot choc, also some tea/coffee

It should bring me in at around 1200 which is good. My birthday is coming up soon so going to have a couple of good days in the lead up so the inevitable food and drink doesn’t make me feel too guilty.

Now time to catch up on the thread, hope everyone is okay! Keep it up, we’re almost at the end of the month Grin
