That's slightly over 2lbs a week.
I'm planning to exercise every day & do the 5:2.
Anyone fancy joining me?

Just checked my average cals for the week in MFP and it's been an average of 1189/day. I think that's been my lowest since I first started this!

I think it's down to the longer fasts and also I've changed my daily calorie allowance in MFP to 1000 per day which is helping me stay on track Mon-Thurs.

DottieLottie1 · 08/08/2019 08:58

Shame about your friend @Seer but I suppose even though it's innocent the DW is feeling very insecure, so yes it's probably best to back away. She obviously can't see sense especially when your married! Not that always means anything 😬

I've just worked out my weekly calorie average- 1205. I think that's slightly higher than previous weeks. I will investigate when I get a chance Wink

Working today.

B- Vanilla and almond milk shake
L- strawberries and vanilla shake
D- Peri Peri chicken breast, salad, olives and beetroot.

Should be sub 1000.

Have a good day x

Seer · 08/08/2019 09:11

Remember that 1205 is still really low tho @DottieLottie1 ! You're in this for the long haul and months and months of under 1200 would be really challenging even for a woman like you!

Btw, does your town have a climbing wall? If so, we will be in your town one day in the next week. Just trying to arrange it!

DottieLottie1 · 08/08/2019 10:11

Yes...I'm in a village 5 min drive from that town Wink

Seer · 09/08/2019 08:01

Morning!

I went over yesterday (1326 cals) as it was our take away + wine night a day early.

I'm out with a friend tonight and planning to go for a meal, not sure what yet, so it will probably be another higher cal day and will need to reduce sat/sun instead.

Plans:

B: fasting
L: will need to eat as I'm going climbing later with the DCs! Maybe a baked potato
D: eating out, maybe Thai

Suspect it'll be another day around 1300 cals depending on how much I drink tonight.

How are you @DottieLottie1 and @TantricTwist ?

DottieLottie1 · 09/08/2019 08:14

Morning!

Another work day for me today. Visitors have now gone home. Was going to have a bbq but weather not looking great!

Just having a cuppa then working through lunch. Will probably have medallion steak, chicken thighs, chorizo and corn. Plus some Prosecco Smile

DottieLottie1 · 09/08/2019 21:47

Kitchen closed (not bbq weather so done under the grill ) at 1021 cals got the day,

How are you @Seer and @TantricTwist ?

Seer · 10/08/2019 08:59

Went out and drank sooooo much last night No idea on cals but I suspect I was in a deficit because of all the climbing and dancing! I ache like mad now though.

My body feels more toned than it has in years. Can't quite believe it's mine!

Meeting a friend for lunch and shopping today but will aim to keep cals low.

B: a v BLT (need it to soak up this hangover!)
L: no idea!
D: probably v chicken burgers in wraps with corn and fries

Will aim for 1300 cals

Hope you have a lovely day @DottieLottie1 and @TantricTwist

Seer · 10/08/2019 14:21

Finally someone has noticed! The friend I'm with today said "you look like you've lost weight" and then I panicked and denied it Grin

DottieLottie1 · 10/08/2019 16:43

Friends/family are still to notice here, despite almost 2 st in 12 weeks Hmm I think I would admit to it if asked, probably would say o have lost weight by cutting out the crap!

Worked through lunchtime and as it's a Saturday it's takeaway night. Boys are at the football so just me and DD. Cheeky Big Mac on the menu Grin

TantricTwist · 10/08/2019 21:42

I'm here >>waves

TantricTwist · 10/08/2019 21:58

I'm knackered. We caught the plane by the skin of our teeth. They brought in a smaller plane, for some bizarre reason, which also had to take some passengers who had a cancelled flight yesterday therefore bumping off passengers like me who had actually booked onto this flight. I managed to pursuade them to allow us on board despite certain factors which were not meant to allow us. Luckily we were at the airport earlier than planned allowing for me to use my charm and persuasive skills before other passengers turned up.

I have done a ton of walking, had a great time, feels like we've been away for a month, having packed in so much in such a short time.

Food wise we ate the bare minimum but no idea what my daily calories have been. I tended to not have breakfast but a small late lunch and very late dinner. I did end up eating a fair few Happy Meals for late lunch because I loved the Le Croque McDo Grin So bad but so very good.

DottieLottie1 · 11/08/2019 10:22

Hi @TantricTwist , I'm glad you had a good time despite the flight chaos! It was DLP was it not?

Last nights takeaway plus a couple of glasses of Prosecco took me to around 1500 cals. So that's my weekly mini blowout.

I've only just woken up which is unusual for me, I was so tired yesterday for no apparent reason. So that's Breakfast out of the way. Lunch will probably be fruit salad and my normal V & A milk shake. Dinner will be roast chicken wraps with salad and dips, tortilla chips. Should be a 1000 cal day.

Other than that I've e got to do a little shopping and don't ha e any other plans.

Morning @Seer

TantricTwist · 11/08/2019 13:06

Afternoon (just) @DottieLottie1 and @Seer yes it was DLP - chaotic, exhausting fun Grin we loved it. We were told that the next flight was either Monday or Tuesday back to Gatwick Shock so I used all my 'skills' as it were to get us on that plane. I was very calm because any sign of raised voice or stress caused the French staff to just face palm you with an annoying shoulder shrug.
Even then at the gate there was no guarantee so a few nail biting hours that's for sure as there were 100 seats for over 170 passengers, eek. Didn't help the plane being delayed an hour on top of all that.

So after not much food yesterday at all we ordered in pizza when we got home, which took forever to arrive, and I annoyingly bit down on a bit of crust and felt a painful crunch where my tooth has now loosened. So no more pizzas for me in the near future Confused

Today
B - nectarine and muesli
L - slice of ham and cheese. will have a salad when I get more hungry.
D - No idea, maybe tortellini with a huge salad, I'm craving salad at the moment.

Seer · 11/08/2019 15:35

Wrote a long post earlier then my battery died and didn't have the will to write it all again

Welcome back @TantricTwist ! So glad you had a good time and well done for charming your way onto the plane!

@DottieLottie1 isn't it good to have the odd blow out? I've noticed that even my blowout days are so much more restrained these days tho! I seem to see a much clearer link between being greedy and the impact on my body than I did before!

Lazy day today tho have walked the dogs and done kettlebells which I'm still loving!

B: v sausage sandwich
L: nothing
D: think we'll just have some pasta

Will aim for 1200 or under.

Have a lovely day!

Seer · 11/08/2019 18:19

I've realised I'm now at a 'happy size'. I feel pretty happy with how my body looks and feels in and out of clothes now but I'm still going to continue to aim to lose some fat and tone up mainly because I want to challenge myself to get to looking 'great'. That feels like an amazing thing to have done before I turn 50 (!), and also hopefully it'll be a weight/size that has a bit more leeway when I start to maintain.

DottieLottie1 · 11/08/2019 19:38

That's nice to hear @Seer , I've got a stone and a half to get to that "happy" weight yet!

TantricTwist · 11/08/2019 22:14

Well done @Seer keep it up and you'll tone and maintain, for ever.

TantricTwist · 12/08/2019 02:17

Bloody hell my tooth has actually cracked in half Shock that's never happened to me before Confused and I only have one filling so my teeth are fairly robust.

Emergency trip to the dentist tomorrow and soft foods for a while.

DottieLottie1 · 12/08/2019 07:52

Morning!

That sounds painful @TantricTwist or at least sharp!

Just weighed in with a 3lb loss for this week , so shows me that I shouldn't get my knickers in a twist! Total loss to date is 2st 1 lb, in 13 weeks (3 months tomorrow).

I'm especially happy as I was out for dinner and had takeaway last week. I don't really feel like I'm missing out much as I can eat anything this way, just not ridiculous portions. I've got a UK trip coming up and then another UK weekend away, now that might be interesting!

1 st 3lbs to go for me, hopefully by Halloween 👻 🎃

Hope you have a lovely day @Seer and @TantricTwist

DottieLottie1 · 12/08/2019 08:23

Just measured my waist and it's a tightish 29" so probably more likely 29.5" Grin

Non working day so my plans are to do the weekly food shop, long walk with the dog then try and get out with the DC this arvo.

Brunch today-

Vanilla and almond milk shake, strawberries and a cuppa

Dinner-

Pesto Pasta, Italian meat, goat cheese, olives and bread with balsamic dip.

If I crave something sweet I might have a couple of lemon sherbets at 11.5 cals a pop.

Seer · 12/08/2019 08:27

That's amazing @DottieLottie1 , incredible progress! Well done!

@TantricTwist ouch! Poor you. Really hope the dentist can sort it out for you.

I'm working this morning and then my dd is currently at my sister's and will be dropped back at lunch time. No idea what we'll do later - maybe something craft-y at home.

Haven't planned meals this week yet either!

All I know so far...

B: fasting for 16-18 hours
L: will keep light as I really want to get back on track after this weekend's gluttony!
D: maybe wraps and stuff as we didn't have them on Saturday due to impromptu child-free night out

If I lose a pound this week and next I'll be at my goal weight exactly in time for my holiday!

Have a lovely day both of you!

Seer · 12/08/2019 08:28

Ooooo I'm jel of your waist @DottieLottie1 ! You're getting so slinky!

Seer · 12/08/2019 08:36

My waist is around 30.7" (basically between 31 and 30.5) now which feels soooo much better than what it was in May but another 1.5" off would be amazing!

I think it's been years since I've been below 30" even though I've been in denial about that until recently!

DottieLottie1 · 12/08/2019 09:08

@Seer you're so close to your goal weight, I think you can do it by your holidays!

I'm also tracking my size by trying on some rather little work shorts that I once wore. I could t get them past my thighs 13 weeks ago. I've been able to get them on for a few weeks now and they are getting looser by the week. They are sports shorts with that really tight crinkly waist band. I'm not going to actually wear them until they are loose enough not to give me a crinkly imprint on my middle! I've also tried on beautiful dress from my size 8 days, it was a little baggy then. I can get it on and zipped up!!! It is however a little too tight and I'd have to wear a bit of control to keep my slightly podgy tummy in. Ive got a friends party in 3 weeks, if I lose another few pounds I think I will wear it! Smile
