That's slightly over 2lbs a week.
I'm planning to exercise every day & do the 5:2.
Anyone fancy joining me?

Pretty hungry by then @TantricTwist ! I find 16 hours totally easy (I'm so used to that), 18 hours pretty doable but by 19 hours I'm starting to crack!

I'm slowly working up to doing 20-24+ hour fasts regularly for the autophagy benefits (which peak between 24-36 hours) rather than the weight loss benefits.

Ending on 936 cals today and starting my fast now too which means I can eat fairly early tomorrow and still do a 18-19 hours fast.

And I thought that hadn't posted at all HmmGrin

Snap!

DottieLottie1 · 06/08/2019 08:19

Hopefully no multiple posts today Grin

As we have visitors we are going to the local independent coffee shop for brekkie. I will probably only have a hot choc.

I'll be out lunchtime as taking visitors to a Waterpark so will probably pick at picnic food.

Dinner is roast chicken salad.

Should be 1000 calories provided I'm sensible at picnic o'clock.

Only two that time @DottieLottie1 Grin

Your plans sound lovely!

Whenever you say you're going somewhere I wonder if I know the place. We could actually bump into each other one day and not even know that we have! Do you ever come to the town I live just outside of (you guessed it right before.)

Aside from a call at 10am (I'm the client this time!) we don't yet have plans... have been meaning to sit down and plan activities with the DCs for the hols but it's been so busy so far we haven't had a chance and really there hasn't been a need until now!

Food plans so far:

B: fasting (will be 18-20 hours depending on when I eat lunch)
L: something light (salad or miso & veg)
D: tofu and veg stirfry, rice with spring rolls

Should be another 1k cal day.

Oh and just weighed myself and I'm another pound down! I suspect the kettlebells are helping here Smile

 to the multiple posting again!

Yes @Seer , sometimes to the town centre (wilkos, etc) and Ive been to GP swim baths a fair few times. The paddling pool too. The Waterpark is seasonal and close by.

DottieLottie1 · 07/08/2019 07:40

Morning Smile

Working today but out for dinner tonight with visitors. Might do tex/mex. I'm going to save my Calories through the day so I can enjoy myself this evening. I won't be drinking though as I'm designated driver Wink

Seer · 07/08/2019 09:28

It's still cracking me up that you live so close @DottieLottie1 !

All ok there @TantricTwist ?

My DCs are in a camp today so I'm doing client calls and other work stuff that would be totally outing to describe Grin

Plan...

B: fasting
L: something light but can't think of anything I fancy!
D: pie, potatoes, vegetables (by request of my DD)

Should be a 1k cal day (I went over yesterday as I had a friend over and drank a couple of glass of wine with her!) - must have known we weren't having our usual drink on Wednesday evening Dottie Wink

Have a lovely day both of you!

DottieLottie1 · 07/08/2019 20:27

I'm gonna go for a rump steak , chips and salad with peppercorn sauce.

Calorie-wise will be at 1200 for the day.

Hope you both had good days @Seer and @TantricTwist

Seer · 07/08/2019 20:41

Got a bit of a drama with a male friend atm - it's that When Harry Met Sally style 'men and women can't be friends' stuff. Think it'll wind up with us agreeing to end the friendship which I feel sad about although it's probably the wisest thing.

Aside from that, it's been a good productive day!

I'm ending on 1040 cals. It helps trying to get in the longer fasts as I close the kitchen earlier!

@TantricTwist we're missing you!

@DottieLottie1 are you managing to continue your secret diet and are your visitors leaving tomorrow?

DottieLottie1 · 07/08/2019 22:55

Oh dear @Seer , is it the friend who's got the problem or your DH?

Yes, managed the secret dieting still without being rumbled. If I'm offered anything that's highly calorific I tend to say "I'm trying to be good" and that's that. If I bulk out my meals with salad they tend to look larger.

Hope your ok @TantricTwist but guess you've been busy Smile

Seer · 08/08/2019 08:12

It's his dw who isn't happy about it @DottieLottie1 Just to be clear, there's nothing going on between us but I don't see how to continue the friendship if she feels that way.

Quiet day today...

I've got a client call this morning and then the cleaner is due so will get out of the house and pop into town to renew library books, have tea and cake (the latter for the DCs unless I make it my lunch!) and have a mooch around.

I'm waiting to hear if I'm going out with a friend tomorrow night, if so, dh and I will have our usual fri night takeaway tonight!

So food-wise I'm a little unclear...

B: fasting for 18 hours
L: might miss and have cake later on
D: either Indian takeaway or something simple like pasta

Should be another 1k cal day. On a roll this week! Halo

Hope you both have a lovely day!
