Have read through a few old posts but can't seem to find a current one.

Are there any 1:1 plan consultants on here? I was wondering what the cost of setting up as a consultant is. I’m on the plan, but don’t want to discuss it with my consultant as yet, until
I can gauge if I can afford it. I don’t want to be hounded if I mention it!! 🙂 thank you!

Hey,

Is anyone still using this thread?

I'm stating 1:1 in Tuesday and feeling nervous! I've always had weight issues and have followed loads of diets since the age of 13 with varied success! Since having my son last august and putting on a stone I feel awful about myself! I've tried SW & WW I just cant seem to follow! I've always done best with restriction and not thinking about food too much which is why I'm giving this a go! I just dont want to end up feeling worse by not succeeding or losing, then putting it back on!

How are people getting on? Is anyone still going?

X

I'm still going, 6 months in and 6 stone lost. Still hard to believe even seeing it written in black and white.
It is a really tough diet but it does work if you stick to it. I needed something that would help me re-set my thinking and approach to food and restriction seems to have been the right way to do it for me.
In the 6 months I've been doing it there has only been one week where I didn't lose weight and that was a conscious choice to be off plan, the rest of the time it's been losses every week.
It is really hard going but it does really work.

It's good to hear it's worked for you. I'm the same... I need to re-set my thinking and portions are a big thing. I need to gain control and see it through. How have you found being on it for so long and working through the steps? I'm just worried about the sustainability.

Hey keg0512,

I started two weeks ago, I’m writing a blog to help myself stay focused and to keep a record of the journey. I find 1:1 really good, because you don’t have to think of food at all, wondering how much of this or that, you just have what’s in the packet. The first few days are a bit of a struggle, but stay strong and it’s really worth it. It was my week two weigh in yesterday and I’ve lost 12lbs in 2 weeks. I’m so happy and motivated by this. I’m sure you’ll do great!

Hey everybody,

I started the 1:1 last Saturday so I'm on day 4 now.
I have to say I am really enjoying it so far. All the meals I have tried have been super tasty. I'm on 1b step and hoping to lose 5st 6lb. Never done Cambridge before but I'm feeling positive!!!
@Keg0512 I am also writing a blog too as like a diary entry to keep me focused which I have never done before. Working so far as I have been mega hungry during the afternoons and just wanted to eat eat eat but just trying to stay accountable and praying ketosis comes quickly Smile
Looking forward to seeing peoples weight losses and getting some support from people in the same boat.
We can do this!!!

Hi, just wondering if your blog is public. I’m on day 2 and it really helps me to read other peoples experiences 😊

Hi all, I’ve just started 1-1 and I am on day 2. I have zero appetite and drinking so much water am constantly on the loo. A slight niggle of a headache this morning but soon sorted with a tablet. I am on 3 CWP a day and the couple of things I tried so far not the best but hey ho. I have 3 stone to lose to get me to a healthy BMI but will be lovely to speak to others going through the same thing 😃

Hey @Amazeballsxoxoxo I havent written on here in ages as it went really quiet and I found another thread which has loads of people and were all supporting each other on there.
My blog isnt public because unfortunatley it costs quite a bit of money to make public.
I have lost 2 stone in 2 months and am thrilled. 2 more stone to lose till target.
The key is to drink tons of water. the more you drink the more you shrink so well done your doinf exactly the right thing. Its a great diet. Best thing I have ever done.

Hi, I have seen the shakes, smoothies meals and bars all on EBay. Plus, they are considerably cheaper :)

I would find a consultant quite irritating, so I am considering doing the Cambridge Diet on my own.
