Best of luck strawb! I bet you can't wait.

Wait until Monday to get back on the wagon. But it does make you feel like shite doesn't it. I swear I get sugar hangovers after a period of bingeing on junk. Just as bad as any wine-related suffering

I'm sooo glad it's not just me. I've been sticking to this rigidly for bloody ages and the weight still isn't shifting.
I lost the first 2 stone remarkably easily, but that was over a year ago now, and I'm finding it impossible to get below 12st.
I look better, and feel better, but I want to see a difference on the scales.
I still need to lose at least one and a half stone and don't know what the answer is.
It was definately easier to lose weight when I was younger
Also I have ovarian cysts which I feel have something to do with it
I really don't want to be avoiding fruit much longer. I've been eating this way since Jan 06.
I 'm debating whether or not to hop over onto the Jason Vale wagon
I got some money for my birthday and can't decide whether to get a whole fruit juicer, and a blender or a new camera......

We've mentioned this before...it's the dreaded Golden Shot theory...

Crotchety · 20/07/2007 11:19

However this is a bit more encouraging...

(I'm very pleased with my new-found ability to link...)

I'm not sure there is one golden shot. I find that I can get back to my lowest weight quite easily when I go back to lc. But I've never got quite as low as I'd really like to be. But I have a feeling that is because what I think I should be is probably too low for me. I got to BMI 20.5 with a waist of 27.5" but at the time I wanted to get a stone lower. I have heard the theory that lc dieting doesn't let you get too thin. But then again I've heard all kinds of theories - some of them must be true

BTW well done on the links crotchety

OggsfrogswartsExpress · 20/07/2007 14:32

Did that first link work for everybody else then?

Report
Crotchety · 20/07/2007 15:03

oh NO!!!!!!!!!

Oh well you get the gist from the second ahem link.

Goes off and despairs of imaginary linkage prowess...

OggsfrogswartsExpress · 20/07/2007 18:45

Oh, don't despair Crotchety. The second link worked fantastically

Not a good day here....

No breakfast.
5 brazil nuts (all that was available, and had to pick fluff off two that fell on floor ) in car on way to shops when I realised I'd forgotten breakfast....

No lunch. Half a very small bottle of water.
Got home at 4pm absolutely starving so had 8 small hot dog sausages wrapped in bacon (new discovery at Lidl)

No tea, as still feeling slightly nauseous from the 8 sausages wrapped in bacon.

Just now, first vodka and diet coke........

Yes - bad day here as well (although enjoyable) as we decided to take DSs for their first curry house experience...So full now I can hardly type.

Ahhhh sh*t!

I don't want to talk about it. I have a cold as well as really bad hay-fever and my athsma is playing up something chronic. And my back is very bad atm. So I'm not sleeping. So I've been eating whatever I wanted over the weekend. Including a very lovely cream tea yesterday

So I think I may bow out for a little while.
