Anyone starting a new diet tomorrow? Want to be diet buddies? Im 14st7lb my heaviest ever at 5ft4. Need some motivation and willpower. Going to be doing meal substitution with shakes twice a day to kickstart my diet. Was meant to start early in January but it didn’t happen and I’ve slipped. Will be doing My Fitness Pal too.

Well I am back! Got home into my own bed at 7:30am Shock Having today off as I am absolutely knackered but back on the wagon with 2 gym classes tomorrowSmile reckless was right - fooooooking freezing!!! I'm also a bit of an insomniac so I know how that feels.

Boggle your booze restriction sounds absolutely fantastic!! Well done you - see how far you have come in a few short weeks when we had all but given up Smile

MummyB sorry about the horrible journey!! I get travel sick sometimes and Id be a mess. My belly is also flabby as you described and I hate it!! The hardest part to shift.

My legs like to go slim first then my face then arms then finaaaalllly belly if I'm lucky!

Thank you, I feel good. Did get questioned by my DB but just said I was cutting down on my drinking. No more was said. It's annoying cos everyone knows I like a drink, makes it harder.

I know how you feel! I love a gin and lemonade or fruity cider and it's so hard to resist! I hate just having one or two Grin

My cat is annoyed that she stayed here with my mum all week.. so she's snuggled up to her and is staring at me trying to make me jealous Grin

Lovely day with DD's. Went to posh garden centre and had afternoon tea. [I only had 4 triangles of sandwiches and 3 crisps.] Polishes halo.
Said halo tarnished by big roast beef dinner and remains of yesterday's raspberry roulade this evening. Will have to be a fast day tomorrow to make up for all my recent nonsense.
DD5 has gone home but DD3 still here. She is visiting DD2 tomorrow as they are all cooking up a plan for DD1's birthday in a fortnight. It's about to get expensive here as 4 of the 5 have their birthdays within a five week window between the end of April and beginning of June. DD2 is 40 this year so that, apparently, is an excuse for a whole family weekend away. I love all this stuff and the way they scheme to make things lovely for each other.
Hope everyone's O.K. this evening.
Love Mr. Cat @Tinsel. I have a big ginger tom but he's only affectionate on his own terms - like most men actually!! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Thanks for the welcome! Keto is something I do for medical reasons. My neurologist put me into it for my migraines and it actually works. It’s a medical version of keto, not a Pinterest one. There are lots of veggies. The first three days are hell, but it’s okay after that. It’s definitely not an “all you can eat bacon” kinda diet. It’s the intermittent fasting part that promotes the weight loss though.

boggle what you like! I've had a half tracked day, still eating good food but not weighing it today as it's my first day back on the wagon. Cajun sausage brown pasta with lots of veggies tonight.

Two gym classes tonight 😱 wish me luck and hope I don't crash out! Grin

Good evening all. Soup for lunch and Tuscan sausage penne [M&S ready meal thingy] with salad for dinner tonight. DD3 still here but going home in the morning I think. I am out tonight at my g/f's - it is 2 years this week since her DH died very suddenly and also his birthday week so not a good time for her. Will give extra hugs.
I have been to docs and have new drug to try for my arthritis pain - hoping I won't get the weight gain side effect!
@Tinsel enjoy your classes and @YouBoggle sorry for the crap day although bread and cheese isn't bad in my opinion!

Oh crumbs! Today is a write off. I've been binge eating hot cross buns, toast, biscuits, wotsits, cheese. Jesus! I'm blaming the new tablet for that and can quiteee how weight gain would be a side effect if this is what happens. Blimey! I'm ashamed girls - already expecting a gain tomorrow before this.
PLAN; Half a tablet tonight instead of a whole one. Weigh day tomorrow and straight back on the wagon. Shit.

Congratulations Sweets that's fantastic.

I've braved the scales and I've gained.... 4.4lb Sad exactly what I bloody lost. So I've undone all my hard work. So upset but must not let it do me in! Long walk today around the caves with some family I haven't seen in a while should do me some good. Followed by 3 consecutive 12 hour shifts Grin

Wow, well done @Handsoff and @Tinsel I think that's a normal gain for a weeks holiday I bet it comes off quickly so don't be too down.
Right, it's a pound gain for me so 13st 3.5lbs this morning.
It is 8 weeks today until my holiday when I would like to be a stone lighter than I am now. On the face of it a stone in 2 months should be possible but as I haven't even managed a stone in the past 3 months I'm not convinced I can do it. BUT I'm going to give it a go. I have tied myself back on the wagon with a big F off rope!
Any suggestions welcome - perhaps I need to be stricter with myself when I'm out with the dd's for a start off. Also going to stop the toast habit just for this week to see if that makes a difference. Just picturing myself in my swimming costume......mmm.Not a pretty sight.

A small loss of 0.6lbs since last Wednesday but a gain of 0.8lb since Friday.

Wed: 12st 5.2lbs
Thurs: 12st 4.8lbs
Fri: 12st 3.8lbs

Today: 12st 4.6lbs

Feeling a bit disappointed in myself and now going into a big food and drink weekend so another gain on the cards no doubt.

@YouBoggle well done - a loss is a loss in my book. You need to look at the bigger picture. You've really got your drinking under control and that is what will stand you in good stead in the long run. Fresh start today.
