Anyone starting a new diet tomorrow? Want to be diet buddies? Im 14st7lb my heaviest ever at 5ft4. Need some motivation and willpower. Going to be doing meal substitution with shakes twice a day to kickstart my diet. Was meant to start early in January but it didn’t happen and I’ve slipped. Will be doing My Fitness Pal too.

How are we all feeling about tomorrow's weigh in?
Seems being off ADs has made such a difference already. Instead of being several pounds up, I'm only 0.8lbs up according to my scales this morning. It's also that time of the month. Have had 2 relatively ok days in a row so that's good.

Hello all - I thought someone killed the Fred! Phew! Relief that there is someone about . @Youboggle I'm hoping for a small loss. I've been really bad today and eaten numerous chocolate biscuits from one of those M&S boxes, Really don't know what all this biscuit lark is about. I've never been keen on anything sweet up to now. I'm putting it down to the lack of carbs and therefore my body craving sugar. DD3 came home today - she is like DH and can eat whatever she likes without gaining an ounce and is a tiny size 6.
Will update in the morning after my weigh in.

I think I will have a maintain tomorrow as I haven't been that good but also not that bad! I'm craving fizzy pop at the minute, god knows why!

Glad to hear you are back on track Boggle - and reckless I am jealous of your biscuits! I have had a 13 hour shift today and had a mini Chinese box from the shopping centre food court but left most of it as my appetite seems to have shrunk!

Thanks Reckless, I'm not convinced of a loss this week but it's certainly not been a huge gain like it would have been if I'd still be on ADs. I was on the worst one for weight gain 😑

Good morning. Weigh Day Wednesday.
Today 13st 7.75lbs
Last week 13st 9.5lbs
So, a loss of 1.75lbs which is good under the circumstances given that I have struggled to get back on track since my very naughty weekend away.
Determined now to get back on the 5;2 and 18;6 that I was following in the beginning as that discipline works well for me. I am also going to tackle the biscuit issue and have bought a watermelon to have when I want something sweet.
To reflect on the month since I started I have lost a total of 7.25lbs and this is usually the point that I give up but this time I am going to keep going and aiming for a stone off by the end of March.
How is everybody else doing? We seem to have lost a lot of people from our Fred so hope everyone is O.K.
@Tinsel I would think that a 13 hour shift requires a lot of food to keep you going!
@Youboggle well done on dumping the AD's -that's scary in itself let alone combining it with a diet so hats off to you. I do think that you need to be in a good place mentally to tackle weight loss.
I am almost back to the weight I was when I went on holiday last June and can at least get my shorts on and done up. They are tight though so hoping another half stone off will make them look O.K. [Don't worry, they're not short shorts - just to the knee!]
Once I get to the stone I'll reassess where to go from there. I think another stone would be ideal but I don't want to get ahead of myself as I normally only manage half a stone and keep putting it back on and losing it. Determined to be different this time!

I've lost 0.2lbs and considering I've been shit this week (again!) I'm pleased.

@Youboggle well done! A loss is a loss and going it the right direction I'd like to bet you'll have a bigger loss next week as this is your "wrong week" which always causes water retention I think.

Wow well done you two! I haven't had a chance to weigh yet but I've not eaten yet and just had a good swim/aqua session, so may weigh tomorrow morning again! I need to get back on the Wednesday weigh days Grin hoping for a maintain or minor loss.

@Tinsel, good to hear from you - it sounds as though your exercising is far greater than mine. [The road to hell is paved with good intentions in my case as I am SO lazy!]
DD3 still here so we might go girly shopping later but in any event we are taking her out for dinner before she heads off home so could be bad for me.
Just about to make my soup as it is supposed to be a 5:2 day today.
Will have that for lunch and try to be good this evening.
Onwards and upwards.

Did my weigh in yesterday and I’ve put on 2lb!!

Ladies you are all doing so well!! I am finding it really difficult to stay motivated!!

Hi lovely ladies, thanks for your support. I need to get my act together and unfortunately I’m also in the macdonalds crew this week. There’s a nice(?) one near me with a play area inside and obviously while I was there with DS I had to eat lunch....

Also devoured an entire box of biscuits (I mean BIG box) - I think key is not to have anything like this in the house as I just don’t have the willpower not to eat it!!
I’m going to go easy on myself over the weekend and then start afresh on Monday.

Morning all, I've been crap too but can't really use the half term as an excuse as mine are all grown and flown!
Anyway, I'm going to try hard to pull myself back on the wagon as I know that I have to fully commit to get results.
Off out with DH as revamping the bathroom so need to get paint and look at flooring.
