mrbob · 15/01/2019 22:46

I am here wizzler ! How you going?

Is funny- I too am entirely being motivated by this group so thank you all for being here.

Back on track for me and optimistic about this weeks loss

wizzler · 15/01/2019 23:16

Thanks MrBob I am doing ok though concerned I scoffed too many potato's tonight. Wonder where everyone else is?

mrbob · 15/01/2019 23:38

Hopefully not passed out after eating too much Grin What diet are you doing? Are potatoes forgivable?

StealthNinjaMum · 15/01/2019 23:53

I'm here. Had a rare night away from mumsnet. I ate lots of bread tonight so will be definitely avoiding the scales tomorrow.

wizzler · 16/01/2019 07:07

MrBob I am trying to be sensible.. smaller portions, no snacking, reducing white carbs. I don't drink much anyway. Done 5lbs so far. Last night came a bit unstuck as Dh has cooked chunky oven chips and they were in a bowl near me so I kept nicking one
Hope Fridge is ok... she is normally on this thread by now

WhenCanISleepAgain · 16/01/2019 07:20

I’m still here Brew

PrivateCello · 16/01/2019 07:29

I am still here too just haven’t managed to read the latest news as I have a poorly boy at the moment! Hope y’all chipping away at the pounds!

TulipsInbloom1 · 16/01/2019 07:48

I'm here!

Facing my first shop bought lunch today - I've prepped lunches since starting. I usually end up buying a meal deal and then eating it all. When all I really need is one thing. And I will have to go the long way round the shop to avoid the cappuccino machine.

Morning campers. I'm starving this morning. Trying not to have breakfast too early or I'll want lunch by half past nine. Grin

GreyandGrumpy48 · 16/01/2019 08:11

I’m here 😃

ThrownMuse · 16/01/2019 08:53

I'm here, too!

Weds is my early swim day, so managed a dip before work. and this week I'm on Week 9 of C25K which I FINALLY managed to stick to since trying it back in May last year. Does anyone else try and exercise? Make no mistake, I'm not sporty, but I find it helps clear my head a bit...

Today is small portion of cereal and a banana for bf; ham sandwich for lunch; small portion of quorn cottage pie for tea (with veg). Snacks are yoghurt and grapes. All in at around 1200 cals. Hoping for 2 pounds off this week.

WhenCanISleepAgain · 16/01/2019 09:40

Well done Thrown! I did C25K before Christmas and am trying to keep running a couple of times a week. Getting through that boosted my confidence and motivation.

I started the 30 Day Shred workout in the NY and started level 2 yesterday. But am probably going to take a rest day today because I’ve hurt my knee.

Aiming for good food choices today. I’m at a work event with afternoon tea so need to not graze mindlessly!

WhenCanISleepAgain · 16/01/2019 09:46

My motivation to avoid mindless snacking will be that I am wearing a dress that is a size down and that I thought it’d take a couple weeks more to fit nicely Grin

TulipsInbloom1 · 16/01/2019 09:56

Is anyone else weighing daily?

OP posts:
ThrownMuse · 16/01/2019 10:50

Thanks, When, I agree about the confidence boosting! Sorry to hear about your knee though. Fantastic news about the dress fitting - all the more reason to keep away from the biscuits!

Tulip, no, just weekly, on a Tuesday. I don't think I could handle the stress!

StealthNinjaMum · 16/01/2019 13:32

tulipsinbloom I have been weighing myself daily but am trying not too because it's so random. Today I didn't.

Small non scale victory. I put on some jeans I haven't worn for ages and could do them up so my bum / thighs have got smaller. There is a massive roll of flab over the top but I have put on a loose top. No one - other than dc - will actually see me. I got to the point where I lived in about 5 dresses and one pair of jeans and was permanently doing washing. Even if I wear things that don't quite fit I won't be doing small clothes washes for me every 3 days!

LittleDoritt · 16/01/2019 15:34

Woo, well done When, I can't wait to get into some of my dresses that don't fit well. Most of my wardrobe really.

I'm weighing every few days Tulip. I don't like surprises, I'd rather see the general trend downwards than to weigh on a bloaty day and think I was doing something wrong and get totally depressed.

LittleDoritt · 16/01/2019 17:02

Standing here making another nutritious meal from scratch and all I can think about is how utterly sick of dieting I am, and how much I want a massive gorge-fest. Sad

wizzler · 16/01/2019 17:33

Well done Thrown. Am v impressed you got so far with C25k. I got as far as the 20 min run and didn't have the mental strength to do that... so skunk back to the couch!! Keep thinking of starting again .. must do it before the evenings get light and people can see me!

Fiontar649 · 16/01/2019 17:57

Checking in!

Yesterday was awful busy at work so I more or less came home and went to bed

Still on track though!

TulipsInbloom1 · 16/01/2019 17:58

LittleDorritt I want an entire LARGE Dominos, Pepperoni Passion all to myself which I will eat in one sitting with a large tub of the garlic dip.

🚨week 3 klaxon🚨

Remember when we said week three was gonna be a killer? Here we are, still trucking along.

If anyone had had a slip, post a comment... get back onto the thread. No judgement here, just a warm welcome

TulipsInbloom1 · 16/01/2019 18:07

Yes I suppose we were forewarned Grin.

I have a big night out booked for 2nd Feb and I'm thinking it'll take me two drinks to get drunk - thanks dry jan! And I'm hoping to struggle to finish a whole pizza due to stomach shrinkage
